Their weight rooms are small with less equipment compared to other locations in the area so we set up our following sessions elsewhere. They have two pools here - one outside that's seasonal (I think) and an indoor pool year round - and you make timed reservations via their app. Super easy to use and you can block out 30 minute increments as available in each lane with no limit to how long you want to swim - so helpful in avoiding conflicts! They also have a small weight room with nautilus machines and some free weights, and a treadmill room that includes bikes, ellipticals and a stair master. They have weekly classes you can also sign up for - also very easy to do in their app. They don't have as many class offerings as they used to though - but I think they're all still trying to get things back up and running again from the pandemic. This location does seem to offer more classes than the Monrovia location at the moment. The staff are all so helpful and friendly! Prices are very reasonable- especially compared to all the other gyms in the area - I've been shopping around for general gym services with a pool and personal trainer for several months now and the prices here beat all the others. They have ample parking but it's near a local park and fills up fast.

My entire right side was off, from my toe, knee, hip, back, even up into my shoulders. I just had no idea what the root cause was or how to fix it. I've seen MANY physical therapists throughout the years, tried acupuncture, and gotten regular massages. Unfortunately none of them provided relief for more than a few days. I also worked with other trainers before, but they trained me in more generic ways and overlooked my imbalances. Sometimes it would make my pain got worse. I moved to this area a few months ago and was referred to Wilson. I immediately felt a HUGE DIFFERENCE just from our discovery session. He picked up on issues in my movement just by watching me do a few exercises. He used the massage gun to loosen muscles I didn't even know were contributing to my pain. He explained exactly tight, what was weak, and how everything connected. He told me I'd feel better within two months... but honestly, I started feeling better within just TWO WEEKS of seeing him twice a week. This is genuinely the best money I've ever spent on my health. I'm definitely stronger, more balanced, and NOT IN CONSTANT PAIN!! I can go on longer hikes and spend more time walking my dog without stopping to massage my back... I can't recommend Wilson enough, especially if you feel like nothing else has worked.

Her attention to detail is unmatched....she notices everything, from your springs across the room to the smallest hand and toe placement during movements. I've tried so many of the instructors, and everyone has their own vibe. Some are harder than others. It's really cool to figure out your favorites, and switch things up when needed etc. Unlike many other Lagree Studios, when you walk in, you enter a lobby first..Not just boom there's the machines and a cubbyhole for your things. There's a full lobby with seating and a separate room to place your items. The machines are further in the back in another room, which disconnects you from the entry door and windows. So when you're in session, you're not distracted by cars driving by or anything like that. I also really like the ambience. I prefer dark over squeaky bright studios. When it's time for class, the music is blaring and you lock tf in. The instructors are good at correcting your form when needed, and you can tell that the studio has a great deal of respect for Lagree. I've heard people complain about the parking, and I totally get it. But typically if you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your class, parking shouldn't be an issue. Ive only ever had an issue when I'm running a little late. You can have private events here too which is nice. I celebrated my birthday and it was cute and something different to do with my friends.

I'm not old, but I'm not super young either, and I've started to become more prone to injury if I don't workout with the right form or try to ramp up too quickly. Gone are the days of easily waking up at 5am to sprint around my college campus without a care in the world. But, thankfully I found Francesca! I was at first skeptical of having a trainer via Zoom; I was convinced that I needed to have someone see and work with me in person. After a session or two however I realized that this was going to work great - with two kids and being a busy professional, Francesca was able to work with my schedule and meet me virtually where I was at, both fitness-wise and time-wise. I've been working with her for a few months now and feel WAY stronger and more fit than I did going into this - and thankfully, with zero injuries. I had a hip problem due to running for the past year that was not responding well to PT, and within a month of working with her I was able to run again, which was a huge breath of fresh air. I literally cancelled my remaining PT sessions because she was far more helpful than the PT folks who were working with me. Our sessions are focused and intense, with me warming up prior and then jumping into the exercises with her. A big plus is that many of the exercises in her repertoire require few props - at most, a chair or a set of 5-10lb weights. Ultimately, I would recommend her without hesitation for anyone looking to step up their health game!
