Like others have mentioned, this store is tucked away in a small corner of a strip mall that is hard to notice at first. It's flanked by a tea shop, Chinese place, and a sushi place a few doors down. The large parking lot made parking easy. We did walk inside, and while there was a long hallway with machinery, nothing was being made at the time. Bummer. They did have several jars of fruits with chocolate, and in the back, there was a room with bars, little chocolate cluster treats as well. You can sample the bars, but be careful on the keto one that uses stevia and erythritol if that's a problem for you. I didn't realize those sweeteners were there, so that's on me for not reading that label first. We didn't get anything this time but maybe another time.

Chocolate truffles + keto bar

Fantastic chocolate! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I bought these as a gift and they lasted about 2 hours. Highly recommend the coconut and orange if you're going to try some.

Artisan chocolate!

This is gem in Cedar Park!!! The most delicious chocolate! Fruit truffles made on site in an artisan process. I enjoyed seeing the process described and the equipment in display. The owner gave us a detailed explanation of the process. The climax was trying the chocolate! Fantastic and delicious! If you like chocolate this is a must!!! I would give 6 starts if I could!!!

The sign as of January 2019. It's open now!

A great (and delicious) example of how a business can enrich the offerings of a neighborhood! The Ecuadorian Chocolate Factory (ECF from here on) is a just-opened chocolatier specializing in chocolate produced from Ecuadorian beans. Upon arriving there today, we formed an impromptu 'tour group' where a gentleman explained (more in Spanish than English) how the chocolate processing system worked. This ended with a softly lit gift shop where you could purchase chocolate bars in 55%, 70%, 85%, and 100% chocolate levels. Extra kudos in allowing customers to sample each increment; more chocolate places need to do that! The 55% is relatively sweet, the 70% similar to a semi-sweet chocolate chip, and the 100% is bitter the way baking chocolate should be. All have a slightly more 'fruity' taste to me than your mass-produced chocolate, and they're tempered beautifully. This is sharp-looking as well as delicious chocolate. Definite recommend to check out when you're in this part of Austin! As of now (January 2019) they only sell these bars. They'll be offering lower-fat versions as well as different types of product (chips et al) in the future.

8 count truffles

10 minutes ago, this box was was full. That's all you need to know. Very friendly. Hidden gem. Worth fighting the construction to get to.

They have 50 and 75 gram amounts for $4 and $6 respectively.

Yesterday, I purchased some chocolates from Golden Eye. This is the first of several treats I have planned for him. Unfortunately, Golden Eye Chocolates will be closing in about a month, so purchase some chocolates before they close down. Golden Eye is named after the golden eye flower (perennial flower with a sunflowerish look). I tried one of their samples...so smooth and creamy unlike any traditional chocolate I have ever tasted. So, I bought six chocolates. They are a little pricey at $20 given their small size, however, a nice Father's day treat. This chocolate is quite unique with flavors like matcha latte, malted grackle, blood and honey and spiced chai. Also, the owner uses items that are unique to Austin such as the golden eye flower, chocolate sunflower and fruit bats. I also like that some of the chocolate is sourced from Venezuela, Tanzania, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic (DR). I tasted DR chocolate for the first time in November when on a cruise and it was absolutely delicious. In addition to selling chocolate pieces, they sell candy bars and coffee. Service was excellent. I learned the chocolates are made in south Austin and transported to the north location. In addition, I learned the owner is a pro nature and that's why she chose the name golden eye after the flower. The shop is small with no seating indoor or outdoor. Hope my husband likes his chocolates...

Personal favorites- Husband said the coconut chocolate (speckled sky blue) was great, and I loved the cherry bomb (swirled red)- their take on a cherry chocolate but with a lovely cherry jam instead of a candied cherry. I also really enjoyed the 'basic' chocolate truffles- smooth, creamy, and decadent!

Many laptops were opening and active highlighting Indeed Coffee as a destination for students and remote workers. Given that it was my first time visiting Indeed, my barista made some suggestions. One of the top selections was the Lion latte, which contained lion mane's powder. Initially, I was hesitant to try a latte containing lion's mane, but ultimately decided to proceed. The coffee was well-crafted, smooth, and balanced with attention to detail. The espresso flavor was bold and robust...memorable! TacoDeli also provides tacos to Indeed Coffee. I was super disappointed when I ordered a vegan taco with avocado, black bean and pico de gallo and was given a bean and cheese taco twice. Apparently, TacoDeli had put the wrong stickers on the taco. My money was refunded and I got a chocolate vegan croissant, which was most delicious. Service was a standout with three baristas all serving you in some capacity. They were all friendly and accommodating.

The barista recommended The Lion - a delicious latte containing "Lions mane" which heightens focus and reduces anxiety. They also serve tacodeli tacos and pastries + other bites.
