First let me start by saying that this review is for the one in Schererville not Merrillville. In August I had my windows tinted and I'm very disappointed in the work they do there. I paid 150 for all side windows as well as the back. The back windows that don't roll down had chip marks on them in the corners and the back window had dirt and finger prints underneath the window tint. I had taken a microfiber cloth to it to make sure the prints weren't on the tint itself and sure enough they weren't. They had not cleaned my windows before installation leaving my back window disgusting. I had went back to them to have some other work done and I figured while I was there I'd see about there "lifetime" warranty and wanted them to take a look at the chipping as well as the back window. They had not fixed the issues nor do I think they even bothered to look at it. As far as the other work I have had done, it's cheap labor for top dollar and the owner obviously doesn't take his business serious. Will not be returning and I'll probably be having my window tint redone somewhere else. read more

I saw an ad for their prices and they were good so I thought I'd try them out. Big mistake. The door man, Uncle Paul, is very nice until there's a problem, then nothing's their fault or their responsibility. I had to have my car back there 3 times to be redone because every time the cuts in the tint were crooked or there were bubbles. After the third time of having the tint removed from the rear window and re-applied, the rear defroster had 10 out of 16 lines not working (this is a brand new car that I had owned for less than 3 months). I returned to tell him that his guy screwed up the defroster, and he said it's not his problem if my defroster is defective. I would have to go get it fixed then return to them so they could do the tint again. No thanks!! Just what I need is to fix the defroster then have them screw it up again, and waste 3 more weekends having it re-applied over and over since they're not good enough to tint it correctly. He also said he'd have the owner, Mike, call me....this never happened. I doubt he even told Mike about it, since I've talked with Mike before and he's a stand-up guy. read more

Took my brother here to get tints done, & it turned out perfect. They did an amazing job, not only that but the customer service was phnenomial. The drive was a little far for us considering we live about most over an hour away.. but I'd recommend anyone to come here. Great job! read more

Very bad job. I was tinting the windows in my Ford Edge, and the guys did a very bad and ugly job. At the top of the window there is a half inch of untinted window and it is also uneven. They won't listen to anyone. They are very mean people. I am very dissatisfied. read more

My boyfriend wanted to get his truck windows tinted for his birthday. He called and got prices for two front windows and a sun strip. He write them down. The guy on the phone said to come Tuesday, we are wide open in the morning between 9 and 10 am. So I told my boyfriend I will go and get them done for him because it only took an hour. So I drove to Crown Point, which took me about 40 minutes. Got there, they said we weren't on the list and there is 5 cars ahead of me!! Plus, I am 8 months pregnant, it kind of pissed me off. I called up my boyfriend to tell him and he called them. They said we didn't have an appointment and there was a misunderstanding. He couldn't even explain to me why I would randomly show up, with prices on a piece of paper, if it was a misunderstanding. My boyfriend has recommended people to this place, not anymore! Lost our business!! He couldn't even fit me in, so I had to drive all the way home, and still with no tints! Plus, the guy on the phone was a loser anyway, and didn't care! read more

Initially I had some speakers installed in my whip, then an amp, then a subwoofer. The crux of the issue was the technical abilities and quality of work from "the Guy" who does the car stereo work/installation - Robbie. I had to go back for consistent re-work, things were not operating as they should, the stereo would turn off when I turned the vehicle off (not consistent with factory settings), the amp was not hooked up correctly, it was overall poor quality work. And after my third visit, and spending 3G's Robbie wouldn't even talk to me or explain what he did, they just handed the keys over and gave me the bill, and the job was still not correct. This, coupled with broken promises from the old man with glasses who promised me he'd knock a hundred dollars off my bill - and he never did. He overcharged me. And furthermore; he tells really bad jokes. I ended up going to "Soundz Plus" in Naperville to correct all of this dumps eff ups, and the professionalism and quality of work compared to Mobile Electronics puts them to shame. If you are serious about having a quality job done in the arena of car stereos I would highly suggest not wasting your money (which I did) here, and go to Soundz Plus in Naperville. If you want a simple job, yeeeahhh, I guess they can do that - but anything beyond was a real challenge. I would absolutely not recommend.

I own a 1997 Lincoln Town Car that is a family heirloom, my father purchased it brand new. I have…read morebeen taking this car to Exhaust Masters since 2019 with no problems at all. Well, that has changed, I have, in the last several months, taken the car to Exhaust Master 3 times for the same issue, stalling when either driving at slow speeds or at stops. Each and every time it is something different, Mass air filter, IAC, another Mass air flow sensor, NONE has worked due to the inept diagnosis it has cost several hundred if not thousand dollar and I am no where near to having this situation alleviated, in fact it seems to be worse. They now have diagnosed it again with a crankshaft position sensor, and guess what, that is another 500 dollar repair. Do you see a pattern of ineptness or just plain thievery going on here? I do, this is why I will never ever take a vehicle to this establishment again. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with "parts cannon" mechanics--where they keep firing new parts at a problem on your dime without fixing the root cause. When a shop replaces the same sensor twice (the Mass Air Flow sensor) and the car still stalls, it's a massive red flag that their diagnostic process is failing.
