Then an appointment was made for a return a few days later to replace 1 possibility 2 more of the tires. Due to a great cost the car was returned a few days later for the replacement of the other (2) tires. Upon arrival, Ms Ortiz, a manager accepted the car after I explained that tire situation. After about an hour & 1/2 the vehicle was now ready for check out. An Assistant Manager , Lala called out to close out the purchase. I have to say this location is in need of much better service to the customer. NO I mean NO manager, Supervisor or Cashier should ever be talking on the phone to a customer, be eating food(donuts), accept a walk in customer information while still on the phone. This behavior is totally unacceptable & a disrespect to both the customer on the phone & the customer standing before the Manager. It appears that much more training is needed here. Also, the cell phone was picked up & used while the customer was standing & patiently waiting. This was serious multitasking yet not at all appropriate or fair to the customers. Hopefully, these matters will be addressed & appropriate customer service will be provided as soon as possible. The environment was clean

The truck was running so I knew somebody was there...and there was. The owner - Mr. Jose Tires himself. He just opened and he was still moving things around inside, so the doors were locked. And I know...the truck was still running. Mr. Jose immediately opened the doors after I knocked and took care of business. Meekhof Tire, South Holland, IL, as an authorized dealer of Michelin's Tires ignored their…read moreresponsibility to send or speak to Michelin regarding the warranty inspection of recent purchased tires. Michelin was told there was no account of me bringing the car to their location, Meekhof, on Feb 05, 2024. Meekhof's service personnel asked for the purchase receipt of new tires, case number, which both were readily given. Due to not having a physical copy of receipt, it was emailed to service personnel from my mobile to Manny Balderas on the day of visit, which allowed the 'inspection' to incurred or at least I thought. Assumingly, the car was inspected, I was advised the problem was left front wheel bearing (the vehicle mileage recently turned to 54,000 miles at this writing). Feb 09, 2024, car was taken to Unlimited Service, Lansing, IL, left front wheel bearing, $352.00, problem persisted, on the second visit, new wheel bearing installed I was told. I will not go further with the odyssey regarding Unlimited Services; however, I feel Meekhof was responsible initially for the avalanche of deceit, along with the $352.00 that was shelled out. Hence, an inspection warranty resumed at a different authorized Michelin's Dealer, advised the new tires would not have been placed on the car if a wheel bearing was needed. Due to the tires being directional, the front tires were re-balanced, weights if applicable, and front tires were rotated in front only, appropriate for directional tires. I reshuffled medical appointments due to heighten anxieties in driving the vehicle, not wanting the wheel to roll off, given the grueling sound that was emitted. Meekhof Tire, South Holland, blatantly lied on two accounts as mentioned above. The possibility of recouping $352.00 is next to nothing. However, the bigger picture - WATCH OUT FOR THIS ESTABLISHEMENT IN THEIR WEB OF DECIET!
