There were enough choices without being too overwhelming. I found an arrangement I liked easily and online checkout was straightforward. After delivery fees, service fees, and taxes, my total came to about $90. On the day of delivery, I got a call letting me know that they didn't have any of the flowers in the photo available, but can make an arrangement with the same happy vibes. I trusted their creativity and gave my blessing. In the end, Mom loved the flowers. She posted a photo of them on Facebook got lots of likes from her friends! I'm happy she's happy! In the future, I just wish they could update their website every season to reflect what they have on hand- makes it easier for "once in a while" flower buyers like me to feel confident in what we're buying and manage our expectations.

But sadly, we just could not make things happen. I reached out to her via the number I was given (which might not have been her business number) either way, when she answered I told her who I was and how I was referred. I explained to her that I had a very simple sympathy bouquet order that I wanted to have delivered in the Houston area. She said it would not be a problem and that there was NO MINIMUM for delivery. I told her that I would gather the rest of the order details and would be calling her back shortly. Since it was close to the end of the business day, I figured I'd call her back first thing in the morning. So I called and left her a very detailed message. And I never got a callback, so I texted her and never got a reply. When I spoke to my best friend who referred me, he said he would reach out to her and ask what had happened. He then called me to inform me that she told him that she wasn't worried about working on my order since it was ONLY an $85+ order that was going to be placed and that she didn't have time to work on an order that small. WOW! Well, there goes handing her the COMPANY orders! Which just so you know, was going to be to have fresh flowers in our lobby every week and fresh flowers delivered to each employee for various awards on different occasions. This COULD have been a honey pot of business for her, but OH WELL. Perhaps I'll give the business to someone interested in WORKING all orders!

I spoke with Darwin, who took all my information and - even though on Valentine's Day they cannot guarantee a time, and I could tell my request was far-fetched and somewhat difficult for them to do on such a busy day - had my roses delivered straight to the restaurant well before their reservation. My boss showed me a picture of the three bouquets, and the flowers were gorgeous - fresh roses that were just barely blooming, so I knew they would last longer than a day or two. I was nervous that, in placing my order so late, that the flowers would be the "leftovers," but these bunches were carefully arranged and quite lovely. In terms of pricing, it is on par with other florists in the area. They have the same styles at comparable prices. No complaints at all with the pricing.
