Grandma's Coffee has been on my bucket list for months! Today I finally got the chance to try the…read morematcha that so many of you post about.  There is matcha, and there's Grandma's matcha! Honestly! You have to check out their schedule and give it a try.  Here's the experience: Ariana, the owner, made me a top-grade matcha with real cookie butter spread around the inside of the cup and cookies on top! It was SO GOOD!  Lauren and Ariana educated me on matcha, we took photos, and it was great to finally meet them! Excellent service! They're providing the best coffee and matcha.  Grandma's Coffee is a mobile truck, but today they were downtown Rideunited Winston-Salem. I like places where they know your order unlike the many corporate fast food places in Kernersville who can't keep staff for more than a week. He was very friendly and very personable. You can tell he absolutely loves his city and coffee. He was just phenomenal. Several regulars stopped in and he knew them by name. They were equally as excited and praised his coffee. They had me super excited and glad that I stopped by. He does not sell prepared coffee drinks in the shop, but did recommend local bakeries and cafes that did. BTW, Dots & Pearls was one he recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He sales coffee beans. This is a roastery, so you're getting fresh roasted beans from some of the most notable coffee regions in the country. It is awesome. I purchased a bag of Sumatra dark roast and a big bottle of chai concentrate. My partner said the chai is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by and chat it up with the owner and of course purchase some high quality coffee. I definitely cannot wait to come back to High Point. The bagel was super delicious, definitely can taste the garlic and with the cream cheese pairnso well. The line move pretty fast since it was a Saturday morning.
