Used to eat here years ago. Now they only have take out. I ordered from their online menu, only to find the prices at pickup are higher. Our biggest concern was the inability to vary the spice level of the food, which most Indian restaurants do. I was told the food is not "child friendly", and was specifically told the spice level is "medium". Of course the butter chicken was mild but the aloo ghobi was far from medium. I can handle medium-hot, and this was almost too spicy for me. On top of this, the chana masala was watery, with a lot of filler ( we don't even know what was in it). We also got malai tikka-for $16 we barely got 2 chicken breasts (maybe 1 1/2). Finally, all the butter naan was burnt (and we ordered 6). When I called about the spice level, the employee kept reiterating that he had told me the food is not for children. There are many better places than this and the only reason I gave two stars was the food was ready at pickup time and it was hot (temperature wise!). I simply cannot recommend this place. read more

Tried the dinner all-you-can-eat buffet here. The food is good but nothing to write about. End of review. Just kidding... The day we ate here it was raining and the floors inside were VERY slippery. I almost wiped out at least 3 times. The owners noticed but didn't seem like they cared. The windows were also sweating, likely because the indoor air was too moist. This was probably why the floors were so slippery too. Please control the indoor humidity. The lamb dish was good and my favourite, butter chicken, too. Some items are quite spicy so make sure you read things before you get them! They didn't have any roti, they only had naan, which unless you got it fresh tended to be a little tough to chew. The service was good but not great. A little more choice of food and better attention to the customer experience (including having non-slippery floors...) would make this place better... read more

Worst place for Indian snacks. Few days before, I picked up Samosas and I was handed over stale samosas. Me and my family tasted a few samosas and ended up throwing the complete order in bin. I did call up next day to give my feedback about the food quality and the person from Kwality wasn't even apologetic about it. I told him that the samosas were stale, and he said OK. I did tell him that I will be posting a review about this online and he again said OK. I didn't expect this real pathetic behavior towards customers. read more

Great place to eat. Prices are more than fair and the food is among some of best all-you-can eat places I have been to in Toronto and Hamilton. The staff knew me after only a few visits and were friendly. The samosa's are delicious. Me and a friend each had a coffee, a beer, a dinner and tipped 15% all on a redback. I've never been to Indian buffets before, nor am I an expert in Indian cuisine. My coworkers and I ate here for lunch. It wasn't busy when we arrived around 12:30. It was a great experience for me since I'm not familiar with Indian dishes. I got to try lots of different dishes and desserts for about $14. The food had the right amount of heat for me. Others said it wasn't hot enough and they assume it's because most customers in the area can't handle spice (maybe because it's in Burlington?). As for the service, the waiters were nice. They seem a bit timid, but that is much better than getting a rude waiter. Overall, it's a good restaurant if you want to get familiar with different Indian dishes. read more

Decent small Indian buffet. Not too many curry meat choices (only curry goat, chicken marsala, tandoori chicken and butter chicken), but a few more choices on the veggie side. I would prefer crispier naan as it gets soggy if sat in sauce for a bit. Never too into Indian desserts so can't comment on that. Have a few ice cream selection though. Usually, I trust fellow Yelpers and never go to a restaurant with less than 4 stars. The only exception is if there are no such restaurants around and I am in a time constraint. Today was one of those days and I thought of trying out Kwality fine Indian restaurant. To begin with, the food was unappealing to the eyes. The food bar was also a little bit dirty. As far as taste is concerned, all the dishes were very hot and lacked the flavour Indian dishes are known for. If you like spicy Indian food, you might like it but it's not my cup of tea. Oh and the rice in the biryani were uncooked. I would have given this joint a lone Star but the desserts came to the rescue earning it another yelp star. The gulab jamun (Indian doughnuts) and gajar halwa (carrot pudding) were really good. I guess this place is more of a sweet shop than a food joint or they make the food too hot to handle on purpose so that the customers then buy their sweets. I'm in town for 3 weeks for work and don't have a car. While out with a co-worker who got a rental, we stumbled on this place. The food was so good! The buffet was such a great price and the food was pretty fresh and tasty for being buffet food. I was crushed to see they don't deliver unless you order $40 worth of food. Their prices are so good, I ended up ordering what seemed like a ton of food and was still just over $20.00. I realized I couldn't possible justify $40 worth of food since I'm by myself tonight so sadly, I cancelled my order. I would give them 5 stars if they would deliver to $25.00 minimum. This is the only Indian buffet I've ever been to. It's really tasty and they put some decent heat to the flavour, not pandering to babies and people that should not be eating spicy food. I just got back from having the dinner buffet earlier tonight. The price point is perfect and is cheaper than other Indian buffets, especially for dinner time. When we got there it was empty, which kind of worried us, but none the less we went for the buffet. They have a decent selection of veg and non veg stuff and the food is fresh for the most part (they brought a few new things out while we were eating and restocked on other stuff). The quality of the dishes were average, nothing bad and nothing exceptionally great. I like that the waiter left us a jug of water at our table so we didn't have to ask for it. While we were there, another family came into the restaurant so it was a bit more lively. There were plenty of dessert choices as well. The naans kept coming out fresh even though it was pretty quiet in the restaurant. We wanted an Indian buffet for dinner and ended up here on my daughter's recommendation. If I had read the Trip Advisor reviews beforehand, we probably would not have gone - what a mixed bag! However, our own experience was great and we would come back. We arrived about 4 pm and the place was empty. There were cutlery and water glasses already on the tables and a young lady immediately came over to fill these. She was back frequently to refill but she was not obtrusive about it. The buffet itself is not very extensive, but all the dishes were fresh, hot and very good. There was a good variety of "dry" items which I especially like - pakoras, samosas, tandoor chicken, coated fish pieces, rice, naan and more. Quite a few dessert items were also available. The take-out counter has a huge spread of sweets. The walls are covered with "Burlington Post" readers choice awards. I spoke to the owner (a middle-aged Indian gentleman), at the end of the meal and he was very pleasant to talk with. He said they had been in business 13 years. For the price you pay, this place is not bad at all. The food tastes much better and fresher if you do take out in bulk quantities. Otherwise, the buffet is what it is at most places. I have rarely had decent food at a buffet because it is hard to control the taste and quality when the food is left to sit out in the open. Their samosas are probably the best in Burlington. Also the desserts are above average in taste and quality. Kadhai paneer was quite an amazing when we did a bulk take out order one time. Service is reasonably good. The food made me feel sick for some reason and I could not eat anymore. I told the manager and he was extremely unconcerned as I was puking in the bathroom. Later, I got into a dispute with the server because I was upset that he was laughing at me in the back with the manager because I requested a discount. I did not get one which was fine so I dropped the topic and went and sat quietly with my friend. He then started to get offended when he came over to refill my water. He asked me "what are your credentials?"(go figure). I proceeded to tell him that he cannot talk to his customers like that. I did not even bother to talk to the manager again regarding this issue because they were both extremely immature. Writing this review as i microwave my delivery, toasting the naan, throwing away the cold onion Baji and frustratedly called the restaurant only to be told there's nothing they can do as food gets cold when delivered. Food was supposed to be delivered at 6:10, called there at 6:35 to ask for info on our meal, gentlemen on the other line said "he didn't know but the driver left 25 or so minutes ago" - arrived 6:45 ( and the restaurant is 16 minutes from our home ) my suggestion - don't offer delivery that arrives 35 minutes late and cold with then no recourse or real apology. I've been to "Kwality" 3 times and quality is not what you get!!! Our first visit we ate in and the food and service were pretty good. My second visit was take out and the guy at the cash had a terrible personality and didn't suggest a cheaper option since I told him it was for 2 people. Now our 3rd option takes the cake!! My husband got take out, the butter chicken that was given to us were drum sticks and they clearly state on their menu, we only serve white meat!! Secondly my husband asked if he could get double veg. instead of rice and he was told point blank NO! No I'm sorry sir but that's not possible. A co-worker raved about this restaurant, so I tried it out on a hot Friday evening. Greeted right away & asked to sit in any available spot. Waitress filled my glass from water pitcher & left it at the table. They lose marks on not offering to take drink order or guiding me to start the buffet. However, the food is amazing, I especially loved the tandoori chicken & lamb vindaloo. I felt the spices were not toned down for locals which I appreciated. The buffet had the right amount of items. Place doesn't look like much, but the young server was very nice. Food was great on the buffet. Spicy options, which I like. All the proteins were very tasty and well cooked. Butter chicken was as good as I've had. Even some chutney options on the buffet which is unusual. I could tell other people in the place were enjoying their food. Lots of people coming in for takeout after 8pm, so this tells me they have a good reputation in the area. I'm surprised more people weren't there on a Friday night though. read more

I wish I could give 0 star review for the quality of kwality fine Indian cuisine but this website is not giving the option of zero star review. The restaurant's name is Kwality but the dinner I ate there was of poor quality and looked like food was cooked very early during the day and was reheated again and again. When I spoke to Manager of the restaurant about the poor quality reheated food then he said that's normal when they cook food in large quantity. Table service was poor and there was only one server in restaurant. Even though there were very few customers were dining in at that time but server was not even attending to those customers. There was no tissue paper on tables and when I asked server about tissue paper then she said go to counter and get tissue paper and she further said that's how they provide self service to people who eat buffet. what a rude behaviour! She did not even pick up plates from our table timely and did not serve water. When I asked manager why your server is so rude then he said the server is student and students work like that. Hey manager you charge like professional chef and provide student services to customer. Wasted $95.99 for 5 people buffet dinner for reheated food with extremely rude and unprofessional service. I will never go there again and not recommending this poor quality restaurant to any of my friends. read more

Been here many times over 2 years since I've discovered them, and they're wonderfully consistent. Good service, delicious (spicy!) food. Personal favorites include their tandoori chicken, goat curry, fluffy and crispy naan, and gulab jamun (theirs is my reference for anywhere else I have gulab jamun). They don't have a huge selection, but what they do offer is well done. Kwality over quantity, I suppose? Enjoy! read more

We have been going to Kwality for 3 years. The servers are always friendly but the cleanliness is definitely going downhill. The female washroom looks very unclean and the toilet paper rolls are on the floor. A kitchen worker used the washroom while I was in there and wore and washer her rubber glove that she was wearing in the kitchen in the washroom instead of tossing and replacing it. The floors in the restaurant and very slimy and slippery (not being cleaned properly?). The food is tasty, but we did avoid the restaurant for 6 months after finding long black hair in 2 dishes on the same night! The owner's daughter was rude about it, wouldn't discount the meal just saying her father wasn't here so she could do nothing.
