Service was pretty quick and the Beef Bim Bi Bop was my favorite out of the two dishes I got. Hidden gem that gives a good rest spot or late night snack vibe.

It's just so good. Every time. We usually call ahead but eat there to make it a little faster. Everything else is awesome too, I just can't stop getting the soup!

I love sandwiches and this definitely satisfies my cravings. Staff here is so nice and food comes out quickly. They also have Korean snacks, drinks, and food options which is good for those who want to venture into trying new food. It's a great place to grab some lunch or a snack. It's close to overton square so after you grab some food you can walk over to Berkshire or Sweet Noshings for some dessert!

DELIcious!! never would have thought to mix mediterranean and korean food, but it works heavenly so. could eat those veggie dumplings for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks too. the veggie pita sandwich was really good, the habanero sauce gave it the perfect kick. I'm going to be having some real hungry dreams tonight

An authentic mom & pop restaurant run by mom, grandma and granddaughter, or at least that's what it appears. The Korean/Middle-Eastern menu combination is very surprising, but both the Bibimbap and Gyro were well executed. The atmosphere is very simple and down to earth, but cozy and welcoming, the food tasty, I definitely recommend this place.

Beyond awesome "convenience store" that serves great Korean AND Greek food. Both bizarre and sublime, and absolutely "only in Memphis."

Consider Kwik Check instead of fast food or a burger. Reasonably priced, reasonably healthy and quite delicious.

The only downside is the price, as spending ~$20 on a sandwich is never fun, but it seems like that's just about everywhere these days. However, if you're not that hungry, these sandwiches can be stretched to 2 meals to keep the cost down. A few of my favorites are the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the SSS Chopped Cheese. Their presence is unsettling as the "law enforcement" of this property. They constantly have double standards towards their drunken compatriots who infect this bar with their drunken chicanery. I have been a loyal patron of this bar for 8 years, long before it was the Madison Tavern, and i'm very displeased with the preternatural behavior of this "security".

When given my bill, I was thankful I looked at it carefully. At the bottom there is a charge that says "Service Charge 20%". What is that? I asked the bartender and she said it's a tip. Then why not right "tip" instead of a "service charge?" I can only imagine how many people don't look at the bill and add a tip, which is why they do this. It's just not good business practice to try and sneak things by customers. On the other receipt that you get that you need to sign, there is a line for a "tip." so on the receipt you signed it says tip, but on the actual first bill that they gave you it says service charge. Again, they are switching around the verbiage to trick people into giving more money. This is a very slimy business practice. I can only imagine how many people write a tip on there not knowing that 20% was already added to their bill. Unfortunately, I just cannot support a business like this and won't return.

Peep my pics for some funny shots of your random white boy synchrony in nature. I have had several meetings out here as well. They do serve some small plates and other items to snack on during normal times. They do have some inside seating as well, but I dig the patio. They always seem to have something special, most unique, and damn tasty on their taps. My wife loves finding the fruity and funky beers that will carry. Me.... Just give me a damn IPA and let's move right along. Once, she had a beer thick with orange pulp and it as the most unique brew I have ever tasted. She has been chasing it since to no avail. To me, it was shit, to her, it was the next pinnacle to which nothing else has compared since. We come during Cooper Young Festival every year and the service can be a bit snippy and rushed. It actually pisses me off sometimes. I do understand the need to get people through the place quickly, but you can do so without being as curt and laconic. We will return, without a doubt. I do love beer. My only suggestion would be a corral of puppies to pet while you get wasted. That would be pretty rad, maybe like a puppy rental system could work. '24 - 3/100
