Wow!! This place is incredible. The double fried wings are next level. The French fries were delicious. One of the best beer selections in the bluff. So our server was Maddie H. Our experience was terrible, first off it took forever for someone to greet us. Next when we ordered our sides, it didn't even end up coming until our main course came. Which took 30 minutes...for onion rings and fries. Next half of our order didn't even come and our waitress was no help, and looked clueless when i told her that we were still missing our food after waiting 45 minutes. A friend and I went and tried Young Avenue Deli on October 9, 2023. Once you walk in you seat whatever you want. Our server came to us very quickly. Luckily the food didn't take long to be ready. I decided to get the Sam I Am sandwich and Mozzarella Sticks. For both the items it was ok nothing too special. For the Mozzarella Sticks I just feel like something was missing to make it really good. The atmosphere is always a bit noisy. It is the upbeat noisy lull so not bad at all. I went a few weeks ago on a Friday night and they had great music. It truly was a very fun experience and I highly recommend. The Yankee sandwich today was very delicious. Half of it is big enough to fill you up. It's my new favorite. The onion rings were huge and we were so excited about them. Unfortunately for us the breading is too thick and although some appears crunchy it's not really. This may be the breading for you. The wrap was no doubt on the smaller side, which was underwhelming. However, the side of pimento cheese fries saved the day. I could tell the fries were freshly cut, and the melted pimento cheese and ranch dip were great - good portions on this side dish too. Great draft beer selection. The food and the price point are just awesome! I went in for the first time and I am glad I did. I had the Beyond Burger and let me say...it was fire! It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You couldn't tell it wasn't actual meat. I paired the sweet potato fries with it. They were really good as well- so good I went back for an order of them for lunch another day. The wings are really good as well. The sauce that comes on them is so delicious. I think everyone should try them. I know I can't wait to go back for some. The service was fast and friendly. I got the chance to visit this very cute bar and grill in the heart of midtown I started with the very cheesy and well battered Mozzarella sticks with a couple shots of Jameison and ended with this nice big ass juicy burger with a side of fries. I love this bar and overall have had a good experience. Ellis is a great bartender and have always had a wonderful time with him serving me. I've been multiple times and every. single. time: Marie is not nice, not pleasant, not a good bartender. She is incredibly rude and I would honestly give better tips if it wasn't shared tips.
