Plus, with the collegiates having this location and the campus Camp Randall location it's actually stress less to just give the kids a gift card and bam... they can feed themselves. I think it was already closed by 10pm when I stopped in for a snack last weekend. 2. Doesn't screen employees to determine if they know simple math. Ex. Starbucks double shot coffee was $2.79. Or 2 for $5.00. When I set the two coffees on the counter, plus a 1.00 bottled water, the adorably cute cashier rang them up, the total was $6.58. I informed her that they were 2 for $5. Rather than simply walk to the cooler she asked the other worker, I believe he must've been shift Mgr. He was unaware. But the two of them hmm' and hawed for a bit, and she was at a loss. He returned to his counting machine to help another customer. She pulled out a pen and paper, and bravely attempted to recall what she was taught in 3rd grade, but instead resorted to her phone. Two new impatient customers behind me were at least polite, but I'm certain they wanted to just pay and GTFO of the store. Again I informed her that the sign, actually visible from this spot. New Costco (for us) located in Verona WI, assuming to take advantage of the growth of the area…read more Has all the stuff that Costco sells, without the crowds. When we left Verona 8 years ago, there were only two Costcos in the area. The west side one in Middleton was very close to work, was a frequent stop for rotisserie chicken for quick dinner plans. This location opened in Verona since then, and is just as large (probably bigger). Like other Costcos, it has a relationship with local businesses to sell their wares. In our case, I wanted a case of Spotted Cow cream ale from New Glarus brewery ($31.49 for a 24 bottle pack). You can't get that outside of Wisconsin, so was a (somewhat) necessity to bring back to our relatives in IL. The inside was large and wasn't too crowded, even on a Saturday afternoon (with plenty of parking), so was able to find what we wanted and get in line. There were a lot of workers giving out free samples, and I was convinced to buying crumbled blue cheese chunks (just because it tasted so good on a spinach salad). Those were our two things, finding a line that we got through quickly. We paid with our membership card/Visa Costco card, and we were on our way.
