The entire team stayed on, which says a lot about Dr. Choi. The other day I went in for a scheduled filling. They found, after numbing my gum and a few quick races with their brand new little x-ray gun (which makes it incredibly easy by the way) that there were a few small cracks in the tooth, but actually no cavity. Since I have terrible insurance right now and couldn't really afford to pay for the service, Dr. Choi said "no problem. We can defer this and there will be no charge for today." it is so refreshing these days when so much in life is so transactional. The accountant provided a false statement to the AG's office. Avoid trouble and stay away from this business.

Both the front office and the care made us feel extremely uncomfortable and like they were after our $$ - we will be finding another dentist. Here are the "lowlights" of our experience: - The first time I called to set up an appointment, I was put on hold and waited for a good 25 minutes before I hung up. - My husband had an 8am appointment and was in there for about 1.5 hours before he was seen by Dr. Lee. - They took additional x-rays, but did not disclose that these images would have additional cost to us. We were not given a clear reason why this was necessary; they made it seem like it was standard procedure. - Dr. Lee seemed like a mild-mannered man, but he spent barely any time inspecting our teeth and was quick to suggest additional procedures. I was expecting a thorough dental exam like I got from my previous dentist. At this clinic, the dental assistant examined my teeth for a few minutes after taking the x-rays, then I was made to wait much longer than the time Dr. Lee actually spent with me. - Dr. Lee found 2 "cavities" in my husband's teeth, and he has never had cavities in his life. Apart from missing his cleaning earlier this year because of the move, he has regularly seen the previous dentist. - Dr. Lee suggested 3 fillings for me - one for a "recurring cavity" and two to cover a slightly receding gum. My previous dentist (who I saw just a month ago) never mentioned needing any of the fillings Dr. Lee suggested. - In addition to the fillings, Dr. Lee suggested cleaning to me. I had to tell him that I had it done in May, then he changed his mind and said I'd get it done in 6 months (which is what I would have expected in the first place). - I was charged some fees when I checked out, my husband was not (he had left after his appointment). When I called their office to inquire about the discrepancy, they said maybe my husband "slipped out" before they could settle the bill with him! In fact, my husband had spent extra time at check-out discussing his follow-up visit and the associated fees.
