My masseuse made sure to ask me what level of pressure I desired and if I wanted hot stones ( free option). She left to let me change and once back she started right away. She did talk to me a little to make sure all was fine but nothing after (my preference as I sleep). She loosened my muscles with a light blanket on top of me and then tapered back the cover to apply oil and massage in areas of focus. She used excellent technique and pressure during my entire massage. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the professionalism. Better than many brands I have patronized. I had a very disappointing experience trying to become a new patient. As someone who was new to using my medical insurance card, I had a few questions about what information was needed. Instead of helping guide me through the process, the receptionist seemed unwilling to answer my questions or make any effort to help. Her attitude came across as rude, impatient, and unprofessional. Rather than making a new patient feel welcome, she made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. Customer service is especially important in a medical office because many patients are unfamiliar with insurance or may already be anxious about seeking care. I understand that offices can get busy, but basic kindness and a willingness to help should be expected. I hope the office addresses how new patients are treated so others have a better experience than I did.
