At that point, we decided to enroll with Sit & Stay Academy. From what we saw the facility is clean and well-kept. The dogs are in large cages and we did not see "overcrowding" that the others are reporting. From what we saw, the staff are very attentive to the dogs there. Clark is great and definitely know their stuff! Sanchez was there for about 8-9 months with weekly visits/training classes for ourselves. We have had Sanchez home for about 2 months now. He is like a new dog. He does not have any desire to hump the other dogs. He really doesn't want anything to do with them in terms of messing with them. They can all lay beside each other and nothing bad happens. Yes, the training can look a bit rough, but that's because we haven't done training on any of our dogs and it was new to us. The program was definitely worth the money. Sanchez is super obedient now and life is great. Thank you Sit & Stay Academy!!

She's got 2 torn muscles in her neck. Please I'm begging you please do not take your dog to this hell hole. Don't believe me ? Ask to go in the back and see the cages small and stacked up on each other. It's over crowded and there are multiple open cases against this place in hillsborgh county.

I am updating my original review of the Dog Wizard Tampa, as I was pretty excited and hopeful the…read moreday I wrote it which was the first day as soon as my trainer Deidre dropped off my dog Brody. That was on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 and it seemed that Brody was following commands and not being aggressive, but the next morning, I realized that even following the trainers commands and suggestions exactly as I understood them. Brody was not only not trained, but was also experiencing trachea and breathing issues. I have medical documentation to prove that. I will say Deidre my trainer was great with communication and seemed to be very caring and sweet towards Brody. She was always available to respond when I reached out however, this is my first time doing a boarding train program and I did not ask enough questions. That's why I'm leaving this review to try to help others. I went there for the halfway visit I saw Brody was not answering commands and was still very reactive in front of me so speaking with Deidre she suggested the E collar would be more beneficial to Brody being that he's a rescue and extremely reactive. I paid an additional $500 for the E collar and he stayed an additional week so he was there a total of three weeks again when he came back I had to take him to the vet and he's being treated for trachea and breathing issues because of the E collar and lead leash combination, every dog is different. This is how my specific experience has gone. I have been respectful and transparent with this business. I explained to them that I was a single mom on disability because of very serious health issues and I needed to take out a loan to pay for this training and begged for a discount which they did give me a $300 discount I was very happy and hopeful and did not mind paying for this training for the next two years as long as Brody wasn't dragging me down the street in my weekend physical state because of illness. I reached out to the owner himself, Brian Clegg to ask for a refund and explain my situation he wouldn't speak to me directly. He was very defensive about his employees and is not willing to refund my money, even though my dog is injured and will probably not be able to wear a e collar or lead leash going forward. I am not asking for anything more than what I have paid. I'm not trying to make a profit off of this and I want to let everyone know that for my specific Dog this did not work and the company is being very combative throwing in my face that they gave me a $300 discount and not trying to work with me other than offering to take the E collar back which negates three weeks of training altogether. I'm not discouraging anyone from doing business with this Board and train or any other. I am simply sharing my experience because if like me you are financially and medically deficient, and you expect to have a real difference with your dog when he gets home like I did and did not see a difference on top of a new injury. I understand additional training is needed to keep up with the program, but my specific situation hinders that because of the E collar and lead leash and my dogs current medical issues and still the business will not stand behind their product and help in my specific situation. I just want to be transparent so that no one else is in my position having to now seek the legal system to help because the business will not. This review does not allow me to upload my before and after videos but you can clearly see in my picture with date and time that Brody is pulling and yanking me down very aggressively after 3 weeks of training and this screen shot of google search for lead leash and educator is exactly what my vet told me but the business and Jonathan the manager say this isn't factual and discredit my vet they are being very hostile and not helpful at all towards me because the training didn't work and my dog is injured. I am sure the response to this review will mirror what I am saying. Beware and ask specific question and make sure to ask if they guarantee the results in writing

I understand the appeal but don't think it worked well for my pet. I have a basset hound so she is grouped with the big dogs due to weight although she is much smaller than most the other dogs in size so I think that's why she wasn't very playful or social (which is extremely out of the ordinary). Needless to say I personally won't be going back.

My dog is very timid/scared around strangers but he has no problem running away with all of them and being pet by them. They've always made me and him feel very comfortable and confident with their care. Three of my favorite parts of camp bow wow are: 1) themed weeks. Each week the theme for camp changes and that includes sounds, smells, activities, etc. It's very fun! 2) all the activities! They offer so many group activities and one-on-one enrichment opportunities. My dog lives for water days and ball pit days - cannot get enough! I included a photo they snapped on their instagram. Pure joy. 3) cameras and photos!! They post so many photos throughout the day to social and they're all soooo cute. You can also watch a live feed of each room to check on your pup throughout the day. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow! 10 out of 10!
