Depending on the amount of people up there, it can be calm and surreal enough to make for a good picnic to watch the sky and enjoy the sights. My friend and I didn't walk too far down the dirt path as we parked near the Elysian Park sign. We only walked straight to the large concrete displays with grafitti on them. We both enjoyed our experience here so much and took note of the type of shoes we need to wear next time! Would definitely want to explore back here again!

When Dodger Stadium is behind you and you face the mountain, start counterclockwise--trust me, you'll thank me. On the way back, you'll enjoy a gorgeous downtown view. At the top, there's a painted seating area where you can rest and soak it all in. A couple of things that could be better: It's a dirt/sand path, so wear shoes you don't mind getting dusty--unless you want to spend each day cleaning them. It's usually around 6,000 steps for me--though that varies--and roughly 400 calories burned (but don't quote me on that!). Overall, it's about a 45-minute hike/jog with ups and downs--just enough to get your heart going, and then you can treat yourself to a city-state after. Pretty good overall--highly recommend it!

The line was already deep by the time we got in, and they hand them out at the gate while supplies last -- so if the bobblehead is the point of the trip, treat the gate time as your actual first pitch. The box itself is nicer than these usually are, with a window cut so you can see the figure without opening it. On the seats: don't sleep on the top deck. Yes it's a climb, but you see the whole field as one shape instead of one corner of it, and you get the hills and the palm trees behind the outfield wall. I shoot for a living and this is the part I'd tell anyone -- get there before sunset. Around first pitch the sun goes behind the upper rim and lays a clean diagonal of shadow across the bowl, half the stands in gold and half in shade. It lasts maybe twenty minutes and it's the best light I've seen in any American ballpark. Food is stadium food and priced like it, but the nachos are generous and they'll load the jalapeños if you ask. Ohtani batting with the place actually paying attention is its own thing. Parking is the tax you pay. Leave earlier than feels reasonable, both directions.

It was a short walk to the gates where we brought in our own waters and snacks. Once in the central plaza we could take photos with statues, bobbleheads, etc and walk around the stadium Made our way to the upper decks to get a better view of the field, and enjoyed checking out everything. It's a completely cashless place (as most stadiums are these days) so prepare to pull out your card for everything. Is it expensive? Yes. Was it more than I thought? For some items, yes ($12 soda, $11 Dodger dog) but for others no ($22 beer, $6 ice cream) The atmosphere is great and the fans love their team. Unfortunately for them the Padres won

I had stopped by on Thursday evening, but by the time I got there, most of the ice cream was already sold out. I figured there would be a much better selection if I went early in the morning, so even though it was the weekend, I headed there almost as soon as I woke up. As I expected, there were plenty of ice cream flavors available early in the morning, which made me really happy. I ended up buying three flavors: Van Leeuwen Dubai Style Chocolate Cone, Van Leeuwen Sicilian Pistachio, and McConnell's × See's Candies Vanilla California Brittle. I tried all three, and every single one was absolutely delicious. I also picked up some organic mustard and white balsamic vinegar. When I checked out, a young male employee helped me. I asked him if the 50% discount on the ice cream was for Amazon Prime members, and he confirmed that it was. Then I asked him how to show that I was an Amazon Prime member, and he kindly explained the process. He even put all of my groceries into the shopping bag I had brought with me. He was very friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. When I was picking out the ice cream, an employee who was stocking items nearby kindly held the freezer door open for me. I really appreciated that as well. He suddenly held the door, so I looked up in surprise. He said he was just trying to help, so I thanked him I also love that Whole Foods Market is within walking distance of my home. It's so convenient, and they always have a great selection of high-quality products. Just a heads-up: The 50% off ice cream promotion for Amazon Prime members runs through July 7th. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can still get 44% off instead.

I hope you like fur & fleas (& worse) in your food! Seriously, why would you bring a DOG to a SUPERMARKET?? Completely unsanitary and gross. There most definitely is something you can do! Kick them out! Newsflash! Someone with two large dogs on a leash sniffing the shelves, and shaking their thick fur near the food buffets is NOT a service animal, brainiacs. Disgusting.

Parking was $19.00 for the first three hours with validation. The art museum is truly a gem of Los Angeles. It can be challenging to reserve tickets because open time slots fill up quickly, especially during the summer months when many people are on vacation. The artwork on display is mesmerizing, beautiful, and thought-provoking. Personally, I appreciated every single piece of art I observed, as so much work, love, and dedication went into each item on display that one can only wonder what the artists were thinking or feeling as they created their masterpieces. The entire museum is well-maintained, spotless, and fun. Security is extremely important, as evidenced by the many staff members closely monitoring the large crowds around each section of the museum. Staff members are also there to answer any questions. I wish to rerun here very soon with family and friends, as our visit was educational, inspiring, and fun.
