Crowds were exponentially greater! Lines for several stores (including Olive Young) to get in and for Ramen blew my mind. If you want a place to watch the world cup, courtyard is ready and inviting. This area was nice with the high rise century city backdrop. Although it was more crowded than I expected, meeting friends for lunch was great. The restaurant choices are wonderful. We planned to eat at one spot, but due to the wait we changed it up and it was a total hit. Parking was crazy! Lines to go up and down, it took forever to pull in a spot. The prices are expensive too if ya make a day here. Very few places validate.

However, this experience proved to be very disappointing, since the problem was mainly caused by…read morethe parking system of the mall. Although this place is clean and offers lots of great stores, the parking system made everything very annoying. The fee system is complicated, and even after shopping, I ended up paying way too much. A place like this one, which claims to offer an exclusive shopping experience, requires a major renovation of its customer service department and parking system. There are many alternatives available in Los Angeles, where people do not leave irritated by the fees related to parking.

Parking at this mall is crazy as it is but even more so here at Gelson's where the chargers are. There's not really an official line but most people know to wait on one side. Some people will try to be slick and park on the opposite side and say they were waiting. Lots of people trying to prove their importance over others lol. You can see how long someone has been charging by looking at the charging screen yet I have had multiple people on many different visits look at the screen, make eye contact with me and proceed to ask if I'm done charging yet. Like brother you can see I've only been here for 10 minutes of course I'm not done yet? They always try to persuade you with a story- "I really need to charge" "I have a long drive ahead of me" "there's 5 people in line behind me". Ok??? Everyone that is here is here to charge their car, wait your turn like everyone else and don't bother people. If someone was parked here for over an hour still charging then that is an appropriate situation to talk to the person and ask when they will be done but not when its clearly evident the person hasn't been here that long. The entitlement is so loud. I've seen two almost brawls break out here before because of entitled people thinking they should skip the line or make the rules.

I reported this station about two weeks ago, and still not fixed. I am certain others have reported it as well and still nothing done. The operator on the phone was very nice and made it seem that it would be fixed right away. Well now its been about two weeks and nothing has been done. If it were any other kind of business, it would be finished and bankrupt by now and driven out by competition. But we don't have a lot of choices when it comes to fast charging stations. It is the only reason I continue to use them. California is pushing to have every car sold in this state to be electric by 2035. I don't know how we are going to achieve this. With such lousy infrastructure for charging and lousy charging companies like Electrify America, we are going to be in big trouble making this transition. Tesla is way ahead of the game in their charging infrastructure. For the rest of us without Tesla cars, we are out of luck. I fail to understand how the folks in charge of this company can run such a lousy company with unacceptable service. Car companies pay Electrify America for free charging and pass that cost to us when we buy the car. What a bum deal we are all getting with such a lousy company. Those that can't afford a home charging station are really screwed.

Mehdi and his team were incredibly professional, they showed up on time, worked clean, and finished everything in just ONE day. I was honestly blown away. The scope of work was no joke: they replaced my old 100-amp panel with a new 200-amp panel, moved the riser 3 feet above the roof line to meet code, and installed my Tesla Wall Connector, all in a single day. They worked seamlessly with the SCE Charge Ready Home program, which made the whole process so much smoother than I expected. Pricing was very fair and transparent, no surprises whatsoever. Nation electrician has been doing my apartment for awhile now and have had them do a few jobs here and there. This company has done really well with my electrical issues every time, unlike some other i have worked with in the past, I have been so far satisfied with all their work. For a ceiling fan install or other issues, the electricians are in and out in less than an hour and I've never had an issue with them. I hired Madison Electric in September 2022 to install an EV charger. Communication and the work…read morequality was great, I have no complaints. The cost quoted included labor and parts. I also have a new build construction home with the wires pre wired so the actual work was not difficult at all. However (which I didn't know at the time), the Nema 14-50 plug that they bought at Home Depot and installed is not commercial grade (ie. Rated for EV charger use). It was a $15 plug and I only realized that when I want to use the EVSE charger at the maximum intended 40 amps, the socket would get extremely hot to the touch. I was worried about it melting (as you can google similiar stories) so I have been charging the car at only 20 amps max because I didn't want to spend more money on fixing the issue. 20 amps is fine and I can get a full charge overnight, it just takes longer since it's a slow charge. I'm finally posting this because I'm using the charger very frequently now (since I had free public charging for my EV which ended so now I have to charge at home) and I do wish my nema 14-50 plug was a heavy duty one so I can use the max amps of my juicebox. I didn't know then since I was a new EV owner so I want to make sure that other EV owners are aware and advocate for themselves/double check the work to make sure your house is safe!
