They're always running sales and the store feels like a constant fire sale in a fun way...that said, it can get a little cramped and a little tight in there during peak times. If you're claustrophobic, maybe come by earlier in the morning or on a week day... But a great souvenir shop with fair prices right in the heart of Hollywood walk of fame. Can't beat it.

I think the cashier was distracted and so did not give the free gift to me. I was on my way back home which was out of the city and could not go back to pick up the free gift. When I called the shop, the staff mentioned shipping mystery gift of a postcard, but the person never shipped it and I never received it. It was not right that someone said that they would send me souvenir once they had my address and did not send the souvenir. The person did not take me seriously.

This is the biggest merchandise store in the park that includes products from all franchises in the…read morepark and some that are part of Universal. The store is located right at the entrance. It is very clean and organized. Each of the franchise sections are easily recognizable in the store. After spending the whole day in the park, on our way to exit we stopped by here. I noticed the back side of the store they had a small clearance section that had up to 40% discounts. The Harry Potter section was the biggest section in the store. The Super Mario World was also big. Product types included apparels, toys, dolls, magnets, stickers, key rings, stationary and many more varieties. There were plenty of staff members throughout the store. Few of the assisted us with finding the apparel sizes we were looking for. Checkout on both days were quick and easy. I also did a return at the store that was swiftly processed. As a big shopper, I loved spending time in this store, going thru each of the sections and looking thru the merchandise products one by one.

It was open, as in walk through from the sidewalk. They had Elvis's old Cadillac in there as memorabilia, which I might add was pretty cool to see. You might go across and up the street to the "Everything's $10" store where "if you are lucky" they are having a "$5 for everything - only for the next 5 minutes" sale. Except for a few exceptions, it's all the same stuff in all the souvenir stores around here - this one included. Save your money and get a tattoo instead - I can guarantee that won't collect dust.

When we arrived, her eyes lit up, and she immediately started scouring the aisles, looking at everything and then some. There was so much to see and so much selection--books, movie memorabilia, posters, scripts, and all kinds of treasures for a young movie buff. The only problem? Not enough allowance saved up! She definitely found more than a few things she wanted to take home. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, which made the experience even better. We got there an hour before they close thinking it was gonna be enough time. Well, we could've been there for a couple hours. The sales people were very nice, not rushing us at all answered all our questions helped us out, but they have so much to look at. We wanted to go through the posters, but didn't have enough time. The store itself is amazing. Full of kitschy t-shirts, used vinyl for sale and other amazing things. The owner himself is friendly, gracious and welcoming. And the free comedy was amazing! I love finding hidden gems like this in our great city and we were so lucky to have just walked into Y Que on one of these amazing comedy nights! He said he's descended from Spanish and Italian, so his last name is Tigere, means Tiger. He's really friendly and chatty about the over 100 countries he's been to, the culture and the conversation spans to rocks of all forms including dinosaurs poops and crocodile teeth. It was very interesting and time flies talking to him. The rocks in the store prices 30,40,50+ bucks but there's no pressure from buying. The store covers old comics to rocks of all forms to small cultural artifacts of all kinds. It's worth spending time there but I felt like without Mr Tiger telling you the stories and explanations, it's a lot less interesting. He said he's there into the nights, so the ideal time to visit is probably late afternoon into the evening.
