I thought this souvenir shop was good! My family and I ended up going inside La La Land after visiting the TCL Chinese Theater and Madame Tussauds. This store has lots of space and a lot of merchandise! We ended up spending about 45 minutes inside the store. The store offers many options for a variety of souvenirs from the area such as Hollywood themed or California themed including shirts, hats, magnets, key chains, collectibles and numerous other items. This is a good place to browse the merchandise and see the various displays! La La Land is close enough to the Walk of Fame that it can be easily stopped into during your stroll. We ended up buying a few of the awards merchandise and some sanrio items! The store also had some cool Dragon themed merchandise too! read more

A store filled with things to buy about California, Hollywood, and the surrounding areas. It's a mix of many things from clothing like sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and also things to buy as gifts. They have Sanrio items, Disneyland items, and different movie items as well. It's a mix of things but a huge gigantic store. So I am sure you will be able to find something if you come into this store for sure. read more

One of the bigger souvenir stores on Hollywood Boulevard. The most notable section is the Oscar-related souvenir section with plenty of plastic trophies for whoever you want to award one to. The other merchandise is very mixed, with not a lot of it Hollywood specific. You can find merchandise from various franchises (Marvel, some Nintendo, some LA), but more than half the time I was thinking they could be found at other random stores than a souvenir-specific store. Prices felt reasonable considering it's for tourists and all in one spot. I personally was disappointed I couldn't find any postcards. They do have an entire section for candy. No one approached me to try and get me to buy something and I enjoyed browsing in peace (apart from the loud music). Store interior is large and plenty to look at. Bathrooms are really nice in the back. The music and incessant light show inside is a little annoying if you are sensitive to that sort of thing. read more

I was like a kid in a candy shop, La La Land is a goldmine for souvenirs and that's my jam. It's a ton of options from mini Grammy trophies to marvel comics stuffed animals. Prices were pretty reasonable and the quality of the items were great. Service at the register was pleasing, it was so packed that I didn't see too many employees walking through the store. La La Land is one of the fancier souvenir shops on Hollywood Boulevard. There are many nice items to purchase. I bought a good quality sweatshirt. What I didn't like was the store charging 25 cents for a plastic bag. I had my own bag with me, but I shouldn't have to pay for a bag to put my overpriced souvenirs in. read more

La La Land has a lot of cool souvenirs for California, Los Angeles & Hollywood. They also have clothing for Men, Women and Children. We stopped for a poncho. We walked the entire store. Hubby found a rad beanie hat, $19. I felt a lot of things were overpriced but this is a tourist shopping store. I liked that they had a food area with drinks, snacks and cold sandwiches. If you're visiting Hollywood Boulevard, I think you must stop at this souvenir store. It's extremely large and they have a lot of variety of items. I bought a few stickers for my suitcase and that was about it. The quality of the clothing and shirts does not look great. But if you're after a mug or something like that, it would probably be fine. The staff is not very helpful. I was trying to find out a question about a shirt and literally had a hard time getting anyone to pay attention. This store really caught my eye. It's huge and has anything you could probably think of. It makes for great gifts and as it was my first time here and in LA I got a couple of stuff and love it! I explored some other souvenir shops while at Hollywood walk of fame but found myself coming back to this one. I've worked in the film/television industry for 30 years, and have never had to film on Hollywood Boulevard until now. I had the honor of filming there recently, and on day one this shop was very amenable when it came to controlling the very annoying and unnecessary speakers they have on the exterior of the building. On day, two, went into thank them for working with us the previous day, and one of the managers just went off, after I offered to buy his staff lunch. He replied by telling me to "get the hell out of my shop". These guys make money promoting the hard work that people like myself and do. As one of the guys that makes the crucial decision as to where to film these projects, I will stay away and take future work to a green screen, or another state. That guy was horribly rude, and obviously very unhappy with his life choices. read more

Before my Southern California trip, I was looking up for some souvenir shops to go to. I found this one online. When I got there, I didn't expect it to be so big, spacious, and so lit up! Amazing! This is my favorite souvenir store in LA now! They have all kinds of things you can name. Minion toys, superhero section, shirts, sweaters, shot glasses, all the souvenir type of things you can find & MORE! I definitely bought my share of things at this store. This place is HUGE...and playing loud club music. It was entertaining for awhile but realized a long time of this music could get obnoxious. They sell everything tourist imaginable. I even saw some really cool looking things that I want lol. I'm a local tourist If you bring friends or family here, be prepared to spend some time here!!! Of course you can buy your Hollywood souvenirs anywhere, but at La La Land, it's about the ambiance. This place is touristy but also pretty chic. Hip music blasts overhead while the store is lit up by screens wrapped around the columns holding up the ceiling. Throughout the store are things like a 1959 Cadillac El Dorado built as a tribute to Elvis, an industrial metal Spider-Man, and a steampunk terminator. There are souvenirs and novelty items galore, plus a separate snack and drink shop for when you have the munchies. So check this place out, because if you're walking along Hollywood Blvd, you're probably already doing the whole tourist thing. read more

There's tourist shops - and then there's this place. Coming to the Hollywood area for the first time, I couldn't not notice this even if I tried. It's not only huge, but loud, bright, decorative, and it's in your face. Even if you try to avoid the typical souvenir shops, you just can't help but come inside even just to browse. Even if you want to avoid souvenir shops, you don't want to avoid this one. Coming from NY, I'm fully aware of the touristy shops - but there isn't anything like this place in NYC. There's so much to look at and I'm not complaining about that. There are plenty of displays you can look at or take pictures of/with. There's more than enough of a selection to appease mostly anyone looking for any type of souvenirs. They have more than just souvenirs as well. Inside is huge and spacious. The displays are clean, varied, and well done. You could easily find what you may or may not want without much help, as everything is placed well and not the typical store. They catch your attention immediately with a display or two right in front. There's items here that you probably won't find at the smaller shops. Not sure about the price comparisons, but most souvenir shops are pricey to begin with. The place was crowded in some spots (mostly the front), but you can still browse without much bother. The front is large and open, so you can walk right in and out without an issue. I had no interactions with staff aside from the cashier, who was friendly despite the crowd. Located about a block from the Chinese Theater on the same side. If you're coming to Hollywood to do the Hollywood thing, then this is a must stop. Whether you're local or not, this is an entertaining store and worth visiting. read more

What a really nice and really large souvenir shop right on Hollywood Blvd, in the next block after Madame Tussaud's. There are good stuff here like non-kitschy keychains, stickers, tees, baseball caps, cups, etc. They even have nerd stuff like Star Wars, Star Trek and superhero items. Tin lunch boxes are also available, which I think is extra cool. There are so many workers that it was not hard to find what I was looking for. Even though it was tantamount to looking for a "needle in a haystack". Come one come all step on in! Welcome to Hollywood! La La Land is a great on stop quality souvenir shop. You can't miss the signs near Madame Tussauds and their giant video wall displays inside. Those monitors are actually a really fascinating feature on it's own. Displays on pillars and this neat sphere that has monitors popping in and out - worth a look. Inside you will find everything from t-shitrs, sweaters, bags, souvenirs, maps, magnets, cups, hats, almost anything with Hollywood on it. This isn't your 5 for $10 t-shirt shop either. The clothing seems to be made with better quality. Plenty of shot glasses too! I like that there is plenty of space to casually shop around and not feel like you are in a closet bumping into other shoppers. There is an attached convenience store with drinks and snacks to help you continue on your trek down the boulevard. Oh and also restrooms in case you have had too many drinks. read more

They followed me after asking if my dog was a service dog, a second time this worker went to go get the manager and he was asking to see a license. Which I had no problem showing him I could not believe a employee was recording me with her phone. I was very upset not only did they loose a loyal customer they lost all the money I would spend there. Contacted management but they really didn't do nothing to worker just send her home... don't go in with Service Dog unless you want to be HARASSED!!!!! Yes, they all carry just about the same stuff, but you could think of this place as all of the other stores combined. It's fun, with bright lights and signs, loud music blaring. They've got an entire section just for snacks and drinks if you need an energy boost. Gigantic souvenir shop. Decided to do the touristy thing today and visit Hollywood Blvd.. The first thing you'll notice as you walk in is the humongous size of this place and the beautiful blue car with Elvis next to it. There is an amazing variety of souvenirs sold here. I don't think I've ever seen a gift shop quite this big. It will probably take me at least a couple of hours just to get a glance of all the items here. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you want to buy souvenirs when visiting Hollywood. Despite its size, the store is very well organized and clean (i.e., no items on the floor).
