I have been going to this salon to get my nails done for years. I get dip powder every 3-4 weeks and I have to say that my nails are probably the healthiest they have ever been. Victoria really takes pride in her craft and takes her time while doing my nails. The staff are all really nice and the salon is clean and comfortable. They are really nice here.] I've only been here once so far but I'm definitely coming back. Clean. Nice decor. Beautiful fish tank. I fell in love with Annie because she does such an amazing job with dip powder nails. It's really important to me that my nails don't come out too thick or bubbly looking. I just let her know I wanted them thin and that I only wanted color powder (no base powder) and she knew exactly what to do. I didn't have to tell her to fix anything at all. She did everything the right way. I usually have to be watching out for nail technicians at other places who won't even take the time to make sure they cover the whole nail or that they don't cover my cuticles. It's stressful feeling like someone is waiting for you to not pay attention to their crappy work or that they hope that you will be too afraid to complain about it. But that wasn't an issue with Annie at all. She paid attention to detail and my nails came out beautifully. I had my toes painted black. She did a good job of making it look neat (which is really important with dark colors). If you want someone that won't force you into small talk, try Annie. She was polite, no rude comments. Oh the only thing that i found a bit strange was that the salon plays a Christian radio station for music. Not something I really want to be forced to listen to while I'm trying to relax. read more

Today I came in to Shantell because the last time I was there she was perfecting an umbre technique with dipping powder. She is such a perfectionist that it did take a little longer than a standard dip manicure but it was worth every minute! This Business Rocks!!! My best friend got married April 9th, and we got our nails done here either the Tuesday or Wednesday before her wedding. All of my nails have stayed on and are still on, and only one nail has chipped! Obviously my nails are grown out because I haven't had the chance to get them filled, but they all have stayed on. Let me tell you, I am the first one to break a nail no matter how short or how long, the shape, acrylic or sns. AMAZING customer service. Went in two days ago, where I got a pedicure and dip manicure with designs. I had to wait a bit, but I was a walk-in, and they seemed steadily booked. I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my pedicure, but she was very thorough, which I appreciated. Stephanie did a great job in matching the desired design I presented. Unfortunately, my nails chipped today, so I called and explained what happened to Victoria, the owner. She was so sweet and apologetic, and fit me in on the same day! She was very quick and efficient and kind, and even refunded me a bit. I would 100% recommend this place, sheerly on the customer service. It was also super cute inside! This place is an amazing find . I moved into this area and couldn't find a decent place for my nails . My mom owns her own salon but she lives really far away so she set up really high expectations for me and this salon has outdone themselves . Everyone is so professional no matter if I have an appointment or I do a quick walk in they know me by name , and it's not just me it's anyone . Very personable , my nails are always better than what I expect , and the prices are better than most places around . I would give this place more starts if I could . My mom wanted girl time for her birthday while we were in Daytona beach. Never having my nails done I asked if we could get mani's/pedi's as a walk in. We were told to come in. After we explained what we wanted, not 20 min services but their luxury treatments the owner Lee made us feel like family. For 4 hours he and his wife pampered my mom and myself while treating his regulars as honored friends. Turns out this little gem is right by my house, yet my girlfriends drive from Longwood just to come here. I've been coming for 3 months now. I have been wearing acrylic nails for the better part of 20 years. I've had new sets and fills literally all over this country and without a doubt, Victoria is the best I've ever seen. My nails stay on for an easy 2 weeks with no lifting. I've never had a bubble and she listens to what I like and accomplishes it every time. This is hands down my favorite place for a pedi in Orlando! The owners are the nicest people, the French pedi is always the perfect proportion, and it lasts way longer without chipping than any other place I've been. I went for a pedicure, it was decent. They didn't do as much to my cuticles as I've had at other places. I had a phenomenal place when I lived in California, so I have high expectations. My friend got a manicure and hers wasn't great either, the polish was on the cuticles. Plus my pedicure was $22, I'm used to $15. Maybe that's not the local price though. I have been there twice and NOT coming back.The first time Victoria did a great job and charged me $35.00 for powder gel manicure which is ok and I tipped $10.00.The second time I had a really bad experience with a guy who sits next to Victoria.He didn't care about my nails at all.He supposed to remove a cuticles and dead skin around my nails and I mentioned it but he said he"ll do it later and he applied a gel powder. So I mentioned it again but there was not possible to do anything with gel polish on my nails.And at the end he charged me $40.00 plus tip instead of $35.00.It's not about $5.00 it's about principles,rudeness and disrespect. read more

Very disappointed in this place! We were in the shopping center doing other business, so my husband and I went in asking if they just cut toenails. Because I use a wheelchair and my husband is visually impaired, I can no longer cut them myself. An older woman told us yes and went to the back asking a younger girl to help me. Both spoke some English but the younger girl came out with an attitude as if she did not want to help me. When cutting my toenails I flinched a couple times as she was quick and sloppy. She said "I didn't even touch you" and in the end I realized she cut the skin under my middle toe with her clippers, as it was still bleeding when we reached the car! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE! We were very upset with the "Attitude" and lack of respect as human beings! Unfortunately, we live near there, so they have lost 2 customers! read more
