If I can give 0 stars. Overcharged, didn't provide the service I asked, then charged me again for fixing my nails. I didn't receive $80 service or what I requested to begin with. Because she was rushing to leave, Kathy started to paint my nail with a clear gel polish. By the time she she got to my second nail I asked if she is still doing the overlay like I asked. She said it's the same thing but with different materials. I found out later that night and next day it was not the same. My nail started to chip and also the nails flip back and forth because of how flimsy the gel polish was. I called her and she told me to come back to fix the nails. I called to make sure she was free to take me. When I got there she told me to go to her mom. Her mom did my nails like originally requested with the acrylic overlay. I told Kathy I'll tip her mom, and gave her mom my card. Her mom charged my card $55 for a full set. So I paid $135 within 2 days. And I was told it would be fixed. Her mom (owner) went on about how the nails was my fault, everything was my fault. Additionally, I was being overcharged at the register visits prior and I decided to ask for itemized charges and noticed the bill was lower. It looks like Kathy was trying to be slick. The way I've seen them treat customers nasty and the way Kathy causally drop the N-word on conversations front of me is nuts. And her sob stories. Also witness rude behavior of different race/shapes. So glad I found a nice, clean, professional posh nail spot to go to. Never again with this nail shop!!! read more

Got my nails done with my friend for my birthday, and I decided to try something new out! This is that nail polish that is not only mood changing, but the strip is created by a little magnet. It created this beautiful galaxy like look, and I absolutely loved it! The girl who did my nails was the owners daughter and she was so sweet! They took very good care of my friend and I, and even offered complementary drinks! Very good experience over all. Got a manicure and my eyebrows waxed here. The nail technician spent so much time on my nails and shaping them how I wanted. They turned out great and I will certainly be back to get a pedicure as well. Also, it's hard to find a place that will trim your eyebrows and she really crafted my eyebrows perfectly. In total it was $20 for my trip ($12 for nails, $8 for eyebrows). Already looking forward to going back! read more

The lady who did my nails was very sweet but just not good at her job... I feel bad saying it but I went in for a simple manicure and my nail shape is not round it's almond which I did not ask for. And my nails are very un even in shape. My hands feel extremely dry and tight after because she didn't add any oil or lotion which is nbd because I can do it myself but that's what you are going in and paying for right. I love going to get my nails done here. Robie does a fantastic job with acrylics, pedicures, & eyebrows. Kathy is by far my favorite nail tech ever. I highly recommend going here. Friendly, personable, efficient, and professional service. I was amazed that on my second visit I was treated by my name and the nail tec remember the conversation we had on my previous visit! I think they are a little pricy compared to other places I've visited but they use best quality products! My daughter bits her nails and brought her too Hollie's, she had the regular acrylic tips and lasted 2 weeks and no breakage! When I've brought her to other salons her tips are broken by the end of the week. I highly recommend you visit Hollie's. They take appointments and welcome Walk-ins. I witnessed them be very rude to a African american client for no reason:( I didn't want to say anything due to the fact that I was getting serviced but I know that she was waiting a while and was told to come back and when returned treated her rudely the older woman even called the cops for no reason the young lady was very civilized. I also can vouch the appointments aren't in order and it's very unorganized as well as the the quality of the nails are poor and doesn't last very long . read more

I've only gone once, and will be the last one. I went to get Manicure AND Pedicure. They were busy with other customers, but I didn't mind waiting. I saw that they gave a glass of complimentary wine to the clients in front of me, so I thought it was worth the wait. When I was taken to the manicure table, they received new clients and were paying more attention to them, but since I wasn't in a big rush, I just waited and waited. It turns out I was there for over an hour, almost two, for removal of acrylic nail (which were super short) and basic manicure. When they took me to the drying station I asked the lady when it was my turn for pedicure since when I got in I explicitly said both, she acted surprised and treated me like a liar, asking me when I said about the pedicure. I just finished drying my nails, paid and left. Pathetic. If I could give negative stars - or no star AT ALL- I would. Poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worse enemy. If you want to be treated badly, like trash and a nobody, like they're doing you a favor (even though you're paying for the service), this is the place for you. Otherwise, KEEP AWAY. It is essentially a mother / daughter business and once they know you, they treat you like family. Their prices are competitive. Will not be returning or recommending this place. They are definitely pricey than other nail places. I've gone to many places that are a lot nicer for mani & pedi for $30. Their basic mani & pedi is $40 and offered nothing special. The tech doing my pedicure was not personable & rude. They had someone else do my manicure, & she was inexperienced. I watched how she cut the cuticles and she just pretended & cut a few. I literally had to go home and cut my own cuticles! I did not enjoy my experience at Hollie's Nail. It probably explains why there wasn't anyone there on a Saturday. Also, I noticed that a lot of their nail polishes didn't have labels on the bottom of the OPI. ( I know my colors and names of opi nail polishes & most of the polishes aren't the actual color) They actually mix the color of their nail polishes then take off the label, so that way they won't waste nail polish by mixing half bottles of polishes. I couldn't use any of their nail polishes I had to end up using clear. Save a few bucks and go elsewhere!! read more
