I have been shopping here for years have seen cashiers get promoted managing positions over years. Staff has always been pleasant and made feel comfortable I do spend a considerable amount of money there. A few weeks ago I walked in the store and a new employee began talking to me she was very loud and flirtatious I could clearly see she was drinking on the job. from the time it took me to walk to a booth in the back she had already propositioned me. She was very loud and immature. Regardless I just wasn't interested. I was not rude or disrespectful I simply told her I can't afford her. From that day on if she is working she does her best to make me feel uncomfortable the minute I walk in the door. She has no idea i understand Spanish. This woman talks bad about me as If she knows me and i have done something other than just reject her. I ve never had any relations with this woman and she's acting like a fatal attraction. Times are hard and i don't want to see anyone lose there job for any reason. First I tried not going there as often then I tried avoiding her shift, but I shouldn't have to go thru this as a paying customer. I forgot his name but I'm guessing he's the owner or manager and he was awesome and super knowledgeable & bade sure I got something I was looking for. This shop is a hidden gem of an adult themed store, mainly due to the atmosphere. It's well lit, clean, stocked, and organized. When Cassandra, the manager is working she has the radio on KFOG, she is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She's very helpful if you're picking out a toy or have questions about inventory. She may be a chipper British lady who listens to hippie music but she doesn't take any crap, stores of that type get a lot of weirdos and she handles them appropriately. I love that they are open 24 hours! But I'm soooo sad they they are no longer going to be carrying magazines, they always had one of the best selections in the area. Wow , I don't know what it is about this chain of L'Amour Shoppes but the employees are utterly displeasing! I went to the Shoppe they have in Hayward tonight and had a poor experience as a customer so I found another Shoppe that was open which was 35 minutes away . I called before coming and the lady with an accent told me she is open but she has to take a break at 3:00 to 3:30 by law and I told her I'd be there before then. I arrive at 2:40 more than enough time to find what I needed she was helpful came from behind the counter and helped me find what I needed. She pointed me in the direction of the plus size stockings as she put batteries in my toy to make sure it worked. I went back to the counter and Everything was goin fine even used my 15% discount for checking in with yelp . It was 253 exactly when a older customer came in and said in a panic that he needed to use the restroom he was going to diarrhea on himself and she starts yelling at him saying I'm closing in 5 minutes I'm closing in 5 minutes! He was begging to use the restroom and said I'll give you money if you have to call the police just do it because I'm going to poop myself. He starts to make his way to the restroom in the back and another customer was leaving . The employee stops helping me and races to the back like she literally ran and starts grabbing the guy and pushing him against the wall! Me and the guy leaving was telling her to just let him use the toilet ! He was an elderly guy and just needed to use the toilet , I couldn't believe my eyes she was manhandling this guy pulling him from the bathroom and he was pleading to just use the restroom she started yelling give me a dollar give me a dollar ! He pulls out his wallet and gives her a dollar and she stomps back to the counter out of breath . I cannot make this up , how inappropriate. So she finishes my ring up and I hurry out of there it was so awkward. I'm sitting in my car outside the store typing this review and at 2:58 the guy comes out the door and she's screaming at him saying don't come back and he was saying you shouldn't have shoved me and put your hands on me! If you find something of interest, they will put on fresh gloves, open the package for you, and put a free set of batteries in the product so you can make sure it operates just as you pictured it, ensuring you always leave a happy customer with no surprises when you get home. There is another shop in the same lot that is dark and uninviting. Walking from there to this shop makes you really appreciate just how nice this shop is.
