Went in to buy my first toy there was a man in there. I told him it was my first time and he said the one I picked out had good reviews. But failed to tell me I needed lube. Also when I came home I looked up the toy I bought for $105.00 and it was only $59.00 on line! And the toy on the box was dark purple and the one in the box was light purple. It's in dire need of a facelift or at least a good cleaning and an updated, at least brought up to adequate selection before I'd walk in here again. I went in because, alas, Hot Stuff is no longer in business and there is not one store in the area to fill the market demand that's worth a trip out of the house. Sadly, no one asked if I needed anything, I wasn't there for videos and the selection of novelties and anything besides the aging back room brand of porn that attracts the lone upper middle aged single white male, looked old, dusty, and frankly not even displayed in a logical manner. I will probably never go here ever again. The shops' theft rate must be through the roof. The woman who works in the mornings never seems to be doing anything other than being on her damn phone and speaking rather loudly in her language which I find rather rude and insulting to anyone coming into the store. There's no help what so ever when it comes to finding anything as well. The night crew isn't any better now either. I was in there the other night and I guess they let the night guy go because it's now some new girl. The other girl who used to work there isn't there either anymore which is a shame because she was probably the only helpful one next to the other night worker. The store's always a mess now, there's absolutely no help when I come in (no greetings or anything what so ever). If I could give this store 0 stars; I would. I have also called their home office to see if I could complain but it seems they want to take no responsibility for their lack of work or costumer service. I would highly suggest people to never visit this location unless you want to be disappointed. I've been going to this place for several years now, always been one of the nicest places and friendly atmosphere to it. Very clean (though usually only clean around the end of the week, I don't know who does the cleaning, but it's really dusty unless someone actually cleans which I think is the end of the week). I usually come in with my lady, but even without her, I don't feel as though I'm out of place. They have a lot of great sales on just about everything there right now (I stopped in last week, huge sales!). Only problem I have is when I come in, the staff doesn't really do anything. They're either off in their own little world, or on the phone. I've noticed this a lot in the last few months. The morning worker was always on her phone and never payed attention to anyone who came in or left. I don't know how bad their theft is, but I would say it would have to be up there when it's the morning shift. The night shift is usually more laid back. Always greets you when you come in, doesn't really bother you, but lets you know if you have any question (no matter how stupid it sounds) they'll hear you out. I always suggest going there after the morning shift during the weekdays (weekends are fine in my opinion). Other than that, great sales, nice selection of products to choose from. Their Lingerie is rather... ugly. It all looks old and outdated. Their stocking selection is rather good though. 2 out of 5 only because of all the time's my lady and I have gone in and someone's always been on their damn phone and not helping us. read more
