L&H Bridal is truly a special place. The staff are all so friendly and treat you like you are their own daughter getting married. I worked with my consultant Allie who is phenomenal. I had a somewhat vague explanation of the style and inspiration and Allie whips out the most perfect dress. Of course, I tried a few others but the first one she nabbed for me to try was the winner! Allie went above and beyond to take photos so that I could include my older brother who was unable to attend. If you are looking for another style, the staff don't hestiate on going to their other locations to grab a dress for you to try on. The ballroom is large and you don't get overwhelmed since the dresses are all so well organized. The selection is massive with all colors, styles, and aesthetics accounted for. If you are in Philadelphia or the suburbs of Philadelphia, honestly this is the only bridal salon you need to visit! Where to start... (worth the read from someone who purchased their dress at this awful place) My first visit to L&H was fabulous with Tara - she helped me find my dress, and made the entire process enjoyable (she knew exactly what I wanted after asking all the right questions). However, the great experience stopped there. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses through L&H, but when they came in, they were a completely different color. The manager assured me that they would work with the manufacturer to have them reshipped quickly, with a deadline of a month before my wedding (3 of my bridesmaids lived out of town)... that did not happen, and I had to be the one to call continuously asking where they were, until they finally came in just 3 weeks from my wedding (oh, and they still weren't the correct color, but at this point, there was nothing I could do). This is where it all went downhill. I had the WORST experience having my dress fitted. Lucy, the seamstress (who I later figured out was the OWNER), was rude every time I went in there, made my dress fit worse than it originally fit, and made awful body shaming comments to me and 3 of my bridesmaids). Needless to say, I couldn't complain to the owner... My first fitting: Lucy came in for a solid 3 minutes. I asked her to make the bra area smaller to fit my small chest, and she told me to wear cutlets... she then pinned me where I asked her to take it out around my stomach, and bring up the straps somewhat. Then left. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My second fitting: I brought my two bridesmaids thinking their dresses would be in, as it was past the date they promised.. they were not in. My dress fit WORSE than when it first came in. She had not taken anything out of the waist and took the straps in so much that I could barely fit them over my shoulders. I expressed my concern and then sent a detailed email showing how the dress fit at my first fitting, to then, so that she could fix it properly. I was now less than a month out from my wedding and very distraught, but figured I would give them another shot. My third fitting (I requested this one because they wanted me to come back just for a final fitting a week before the wedding, but I did not trust that it would actually fit). At this point, I tried on my dress and noticed where it had been taken out- it was bumpy (I had light beading), so I asked if I could talk to Lucy... in which she came in and said "what's wrong now?". To the BRIDE. I asked her if she had finished taking out my dress, or if she still had to do so, to which she responded "it is done, that is the best I could do", and I explained and showed her that it did not lay flat, that it looked bad, and you could tell it had been taken out. She said again "that is the best I could do, it will lay flatter after it is pressed", turned around, and walked out. I was appalled, but at this point did not want her touching my dress again. I was too scared to complain to anyone or ask her to fix it because I was honestly worried she would do something to mess it up further. I asked around and found another seamstress who could help if I came back in and it still looked bad. Lucy (the owner) also asked my bridesmaid "what she was going to do with what little boobs she had" when she asked to have it adjusted (again, basically telling her to wear a bra), and made my other bridesmaid cry after asking her "what she planned on doing with all her fat" and told her to wear Spanx, when she was 2 months postpartum. Lucy also tailored two of the bridesmaid dresses and made them fit worse than when they originally tried them on (there is a theme here). The shop would not refund them the money. RUN from this place. They made an experience that was supposed to be wonderful, absolutely dreadful. read more

I said yes to L&H! I found my perfect gown with the help of the bridal consultant, Annette. I wanted a specific simple, elegant look... and she pulled just the right dress! She did not make me try on dresses that went against my vision, and was very receptive to my opinions. Before heading to the bridal boutique, I filled out a questionnaire through email. This gave my bridal consultant specific styles that I was interested in. I was impressed that Annette had this email printed with pictures of the dresses from my Pinterest board! I was escorted upstairs to my own area, that had dressing rooms and couches for guests. The room was well lit with elevated stages to look at the gowns. The seamstress was present as well with good feedback on the perfect fit. A great experience overall! read more

This was my third Bridal shop and I was highly looking forward to the experience, especially during their annual Bridal Sale. Unfortunately, I spent 2 hours round-trip driving to this location to try on a total of 3 dresses that fit my budget - we stretched it up to $1600. The appointment was set for 7pm, I walked in at 705 since I was parked at the Bridesmaides shop. I was seated and seen in about 10 minutes after that. All my other experiences we had the whole section to ourselves and it was much more personal and intimate experience. Also, at my other bridal shops I tried at least 10 dresses within the hour - and the selection was much better. I was really disappointed with the selection and service. All the other bridal shops had called me to ask about my size, my budget, the type of dress I was looking for. I was surprised I did not receive that call, but had assumed that L&H bridal must just have a greater selection so they weren't worried about that , given the great reviews. Lucy and her staff were amazing at helping me pick my wedding gown. I had no idea what I wanted going into her store, but they put me in a whole bunch of stuff until I found something that I liked! I also got my wedding shoes from her shop and she gave me my wedding earrings for free - not sure if this is because she's just super nice or if it's because she's neighbors with my husband's aunt. Either way, she is a real sweetheart. My Maid of Honor also got her dress here - Lucy helped her pick a dress that went with her skin tone and didn't make her feel so self conscious (she's not really a lover of dresses). This review is for the great experience I had wedding dress shopping on July 17, 2018. To start, my mom, mother in law, and I were running very behind that day, and the shop was totally accommodating and let us push the appointment back an hour. I really appreciated that! I had already tried on a dress at a well known budget conscious bridal salon in Rittenhouse and thought I found my dress there. I am so glad I went to L&H anyway! The dresses at L&H are much higher quality and the price point isn't insane! Don't let bridal shows scare you from a traditional salon. You don't need to spend $4,000 to find a gorgeous dress here. For reference, my dress was under $2,000 and it's looks like something I thought I could never afford. I understand $2,000 isn't chump change, but I was happily surprised at this price point. Our consultant, Tara, was funny and warm, but she was honest and direct. A good Philly woman. I liked her immediately and realized once she started pulling dresses that I was about to find my new dress. She listened to my budget and I feel like she read my mind. This place is simply amazing!! I requested an appointment online without any issues. I received a phone call to confirm the appointment, and then another call by Sara to explain the process, for pictures of what I liked and to get my budget. This was my first bridal shop appointment and I thought it would be a test-run. Boy was I wrong! My appointment was scheduled for 11:30am, but I walked in a little early. They allowed us to view dresses before my scheduled time. Allie was my consultant and she was sooooooo nice and so helpful! She was very patient and understood my personality within minutes. As a result, she paired me with my wedding dress!! I tried on like 6 dresses and we ALL knew that it was the "one". Lucy and her staff went above and beyond to give my daughter and I the best experience any bride and her mother could have. I went to L&H bridal to find a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. I found a dress and we agreed upon a size to order based on my measurements. When I picked up the dress two months later, the dress was a size bigger than what we agreed and a "wide". The dress was hanging off of me and I could put it on without unzipping it at all. I called the next day to let the store know that the incorrect size was ordered and the woman who answered the phone said their seamstress could fix it if I wanted but otherwise there was nothing they could do and it was too late to order another size. Now I am stuck paying a lot of money to fix a dress that would've needed minimal alterations in the correct size. read more

Came here based on reviews that I read on the Knot. It's a hike from our house. We went first in the summer. I actually tried on the first gown that made me cry. I am indecisive so I wasn't ready to commit and I wanted to search some more and come back to some boutiques (including this one) when the fall dresses were in. We booked an appointment for an upcoming trunk show for the designer of the dress that I loved. I was extremely disappointed when I was told that the October trunk show was cancelled because there was already one happening in November. I did, however appreciate the fact that Annette, my bridal consultant, reached out to inform me and quickly and easily arranged another date for me for the next trunk show which was being held on Thanksgiving weekend. It was a lonnnnnnng wait but I ultimately said yes to the dress that day so it all worked out for the best! Especially because the gown I wound up getting was actually the other designer that was having a trunk show on the same day as the designer I was going for! Annette followed up our first appointment with an email which I appreciated. I looked online to see other dresses by my designer and found one I loved. I immediately reached out to Annette to see if it would be there for the trunk show. Annette made sure that the gown was there for my appointment! Annette also had a gown ready and waiting when we walked in that she thought I would love. She was right. It's the only dress that moved my Mom to tears and we fell in love with it! It got me to FINALLY say yes to the dress after many, many, MANY appointments trying on many, many, MANY gowns! I can't wait to wear it on my big day! The staff is great. The owner does all of the alterations on site so she gave me a lot of feedback during our second appointment which was appreciated. There were also a lot of other staff members that got involved and offered feedback. They were nice and fun and made it an enjoyable experience. There are two buildings, one with the wedding gowns and mother of the bride gowns and one with the bridesmaid gowns. You are allowed to look through the gowns. It wasn't as easy to search as some other boutiques but it was also better than searching at other boutiques. There is a giant wall to wall mirror where you check yourself out in each gown. It can be shared by two brides to be. Then there's a smaller mirror. It's basically first come, first serve. There's a waiting area downstairs and couches upstairs for your audience. The bathroom is clean. The dresses were clean. The fitting rooms were clean. I love that they aren't pushy and they give real feedback. If you purchase your gown here they offer discounts on bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses and tuxedos. Annette was kind and PATIENT which is greatly appreciated. The bridal shop itself is very lovely and has a private area to try on dresses and couches for your guests. However, the customer service needs much improvement. I spent time completing the lengthy and detailed online assessment prior to my bridal appointment but when I arrived , the consultant had no idea what kind of dresses I liked or my size. Not one dresses was pulled in advance for me. Additionally, the Omicron variant of COVID is running rampant in Philadelphia. The consultant was not masked. When asked if she would mask, she seemed defensive and told us she was vaccinated and that everyone at the shop already had COVID. She did eventually put a mask on, wore it under her nose. This was very insensitive to us as customers. The consultant did not have any recommendations for me on what would look good on my body, tried forcing my body on dresses that didn't fit, and after trying on a few that I didn't like (about 30 minutes in to a supposed 60 min appointment) she told me she didn't have anything else I would like or that was in my budget. Overall, it was a highly disappointing experience. Especially, since it was my first time wedding dress shopping. I would not recommend this shop to others based on how I was not treated special and the lack of preparation for my appointment. read more

Danielle was the best! L&H was the first shop I went and I had no idea what kind of wedding dress I wanted. Danielle had me try on a bunch of different styles to get an idea of what I liked and didn't like. By the end of the appointment I knew exactly what style looked good on me and what I liked thanks to Danielle. I didn't say yes to the dress at that appointment (mostly because I'm indecisive) and went to multiple other bridal shops to try on dresses. Everything I found was unmatched to the dress I found at L&H, so I schedule another appointment and said yes to the dress from my first appointment! The seamstress in the alterations department I dealt with was super abrupt, and borderline rude (which means by most other people's standards, she was probably a nightmare. I'm pretty patient.) She was seriously no-nonsense, which I guess she can afford to be with bridesmaids -- but I wasn't even asking for anything when I put on my dress, emerged from the dressing room, and she still managed to immediately insult my shoe options and was gone in a whirlwind after stabbing a few pins in my dress before I could say much else. Another employee tried to make up for it by complimenting the last shoes standing. Expect to wait for your appointments (at least for evening ones in my experiences there.) Plus-size shoppers beware. Not sure how many plus size sample dresses they have in stock, if you're looking to browse and perhaps try on, or at least pop on and not zip up -- but my group came in for a very particular dress, so I wasn't surprised when I saw it and knew I wasn't going to be putting it on. While two employees pulled me in a dressing room and measured me privately, conveying the measurements from one woman to the other in hushed tones --- they also will make you feel pretty terrible, I'm assuming, if you're even approaching the top end of a dress size measurement. I checked on the designer my bride had wanted in advance, to make sure I wasn't going to be unpleasantly surprised by it not coming in my size. The designer website had a few size ranges, all of which I fit in with a size or two to spare after doing a quick measurement myself. I thought my initial worry was for nothing after I heard my bride was pretty much sold on this one particular dress. Not only did they tell me I wasn't going to fit the dress, they said that the dress didn't go up to the size range that I *know* the designer offers on all the dresses in this particular style. So they order me what they say is the largest size, and I even had to sign something saying that I acknowledged their measurements and wanted them to order the dress anyway. My dress wound up needing to be taken in on the sides. I was so relieved when it zipped right up, as I'd been getting pretty anxious about it. (Thanks, L&H! Anxiety AND a charge for an extended size-what more could a girl ask for as she's shelling out tons of money on a dress that no, she won't likely wear again, and special shoes, and I'm going to stop here because I could go on forever!) I survived here as a bridesmaid. Barbara hustling at the front desk was really nice and clearly overextended to make things work. But I highly doubt I would ever come here as a bride, even with some of the positive bridal reviews (and that they were nice enough to my bride when I was with her when she found her dress.) Bridesmaids shouldn't just automatically be treated like third-class steerage, and plus size women get engaged/asked to be in weddings. So either be upfront about not wanting to see anyone larger than a size 14 cross your threshold, or perhaps work on that. I've been in several weddings, gone to several bridal shops and never had an experience quite like this. read more

I had a horrendous experience here in Fall 2015. If you look at my other reviews on other companies, most of them are very positive, so it's not like me to post something this negative - but as a fair warning to brides and bridesmaids: don't step foot in this shop. They are dishonest, will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money, they messed up my dress (they sent me a USED dress) and didn't offer me any ramification, they're rude, and quite frankly all of that aside, their dresses aren't anything special. There were several others in my bridal party who also had terrible experiences here, including the bride. ALSO: read through the other negative reviews. The owner, or whoever works at L&H doing the "customer service", gets defensive and makes excuses in almost every response to negative reviews. They love to reference to "oh so and so had this documented", as if that's supposed to make the situation okay. I can't say enough bad things about this place. In my search for a bridesmaid dress I stopped at L&H first. I was really only looking and still needed approval from the bride who couldn't make it to my appointment. My consultant was very nice and super patient. My problem is with the store layout. Everything is packed into the racks and the selection really isn't so great. Lots of the same vendor, all the dresses kind of look the same, and the space could be used better. Dressing rooms are tiny and there is only one large mirror. When they measured me they ordered a bigger size than I actually needed too. I know this because I found my dress for $20 less and got the size I thought I needed. L&H is overpriced and tries to scam you on alterations by ordering too big. *In response to the reply from the business on how to do my homework: I did do my homework. I shopped around and like I said found my dress for less money elsewhere. I also visited several other shops who measured me completely different and wound up getting the right size with a simple alteration of getting the dress hemmed. So maybe you should do your homework and price the dresses reasonably and learn how to measure!* read more

Unless you want to treated with disrespect, I would not recommend coming here. There is no such thing as customer service here and the owner Lucy is incredibly rude. This bridal shop is only 5 minutes away from home but I was willing to drive out 1.5 hours to find the perfect dress without being rushed and to find much better service then these guys. Like someone mentioned earlier, the owner picks out the dresses for you. You cannot touch or look around their dresses. The owner dressed you in and out and gave you literally have 5 seconds to decide on whether or not you want to buy this dress. You cannot see the labels or the make of the dress. No pictures are allowed. The mirror is 2 feet away from you so you cannot see how the dress fits you from a distance. While there is no one else coming in after your appointed time, the store owner rushes you and made it feel like you are causing an inconvenience to her. After 10 dresses, the owner threw up her hand and she "That's it. I'm done". Highly would not recommend this place. Don't even waste your time here. Every bride-to-be deserves to be treated with decency and respect! read more

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding so I had to get my dress here. I don't live close and I don't know many seamstresses so I just figured I'd get it fitted there. I thought I could wear my dress without a bra, and when I tried it on for the first fitting, I didn't have a bra on. Tara was helping me and literally reached into my dress and grabbed my bare boob to show me where it needed to be. I understand you have to touch people when you're fitting a dress, but she just did it without asking for my consent and that seemed totally inappropriate and unnecessary. There was boning in the cups that they said they couldn't take out and they could only fix the length of the dress until I found the right bra. Tara also asked if I go tanning, in a way that implied I really should because I was so pale. Rude. After the first fitting I was so uncomfortable that I just wanted to get out of there. When I went back to get it, I tried the dress on with some more bra options, but none of them worked because the back of the dress is open and boobs don't sit that high on your body; it was ridiculous. Tara actually laughed at one of my options and made me feel like an idiot because she said that wouldn't work. When I was done trying on the dress and it was out of the dressing room, I was still changing, but Tara peeked into the room for no reason. Like there's a curtain for privacy that I hadn't opened yet because I was still wasn't fully dressed. THAT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I left the fitting to go to Target to see if another bra would work (Tara's suggestion) and then when I got back to the store she had the nerve to ask if I was mad at her and gave me a hug. That woman is so abrasive and I just froze and couldn't say anything honest because I was so uncomfortable. I couldn't find a bra so I just took my dress and left. I found a seamstress closer to home who actually knew what she was doing. She took the boning out, sewed an old bra into the dress, and made my dress look way better. I'm not sure why they couldn't find a solution at this place, but I would never go back. I can't believe someone who is so tone-deaf to others' feelings and personal space works in this type of job. Even someone else who worked there and witnessed everything, seemed to laugh about Tara and said "just because Tara is comfortable being naked in front of everyone, doesn't mean everyone else is." Clearly she's always like that and nobody has done anything. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. It's sad I have to come to yelp to write a review to warn others of this place. I tried calling this bridal shop 3 times within 1 week to make an appointment to try on dresses. It's been over a month since I first called. No call back. No curtesy call to say hey we are busy sorry, we have no room currently to see you soon. Let me also state that I called those 3 times with my name, and number left slowly so they could contact me back. No call back, just silence. I would not recommend getting a dress there, only imagine if I had issues with a dress ordered, you'd only get a response if you show up in person I guess. I would not recommend this place to future brides looking for a dress. Every other shop I contacted got back to me within a full business day, and was able to get my an appointment within the week after I called. read more

Annette even ran around the shop trying to find different accessories and veils for me when I requested to try some on. I had a wonderful experince at L & H Bridal. I brought with me several pictures of gowns that I liked, and Lucy was able to look at them and know exactly what I was going for. She pulled quite a few gowns for me to try on, and the staff helped me in and out of each of them. Lucy is very warm and funny, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. They have an enormous selection which I think could accomodate most brides, and the prices are fantastic compared to other places. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because, even though I made an appointment, my friends and I had to wait about 30-40 minutes when we got there. The appointment before me ran late. I made an appointment at L+H Bridal after going to four different shops, I was exhausted and fed up with rude staff and bridal consultants. L+H was a breath of fresh air! They were pleasant from the moment I called to make an appointment. My mother and I went on a Sunday and we were paired with Annette. Annette was extremely helpful and willing to shop and dig for my ideal dress. She offered me great options and even pulled the seamstress in to see if certain alterations were possible. I wasn't ready to make my decision by the end of the appointment, and Annette was kind enough to send me an email to schedule another appointment to try on the dress I really liked. Ultimately, I ended up going with a different dress in a different shop (I saw it and fell in love with it immediately). I had a phenomenal experience at L&H Bridal. Tara was my stylist and she absolutely nailed it! I had been to a few boutiques and thought I had found the dress of my dreams but boy was I wrong. My cousin dragged me to one more salon and I'm so happy she did. The bridal suite is so pretty! I met with Tara and explained what I was looking for. I wanted a lace long sleeve dress with lots of beading and a modern look. She picked a few dresses but put one aside in particular. When I saw that Pronovias dress on the hanger I knew that was it before even trying it on! Tara made me try it on first and that was it I knew no other dress would compare. Tara made me feel so comfortable, because let's face it we're down to nothing but underwear trying on dresses. I also bought my veil and had alterations done here. The veil they helped me pic was perfect and Lucy was fabulous! She made my dress fit like a glove! I had lost a lot of weight and with all the intricate beading and lace I was worried it would lose its integrity but you couldn't even tell! I could not have imagined an easier or more seamless process and have been dreaming of my dress since. It was so nice to complete one of the more fun parts of the wedding planning process. This was my first and last bridal dress appointment and took about an hour to find the perfect one. I have had 2 poor experiences at L&H bridal. The first was several months ago when I was bridesmaids dress shopping for a friend's wedding. We were at our appoint for an hour, where we determined that what dresses we wanted based on the consultant's knowledge of the dresses coming in a certain style/color/designer. I later went to another bridal store closer to my home where they kindly explained to me that the color did not come in the style of the dress for that designer. We had to start everything from scratch. Today, I went back to L&H to try on Bridal gowns (I only chose to go here because I knew they had a wide variety of gowns). Before my appointment started, I filled out an information sheet with my budget. The bridal consultant was fully aware of how much I wanted to spend. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on, but continued to try on other dresses throughout the appointment. Towards the end of the appointment I put the first dress back on, knowing this was a top contender. When I went back into the dressing room with the consultant, she said she just wanted to look at the price really fast, as she did, we both saw that the dress was $2300 over my budget! She apologized, stated she never does this, and offered me a 10% discount (not enough to get me even close to my budget). I do believe that both instances were mistakes, however each consultant should spend the extra 2 seconds to confirm the information they are providing to their clients. After all this is their job...Unfortunately for L&H I do not believe I will be returning OR referring any of my friends. read more

I went to L&H Bridal for my first time trying on wedding dresses. The store doesn't look like anything from the outside, but it is beautiful and clean inside with a great collection of dresses. Annette was the consultant I worked with and she was fantastic! At that time, I had no idea what I wanted -- but Annette was so sweet, encouraging and patient. I must have tried on over 10-15 dresses, and found 3 that worked super well and were all well within my budget. Annette was also great at following up with me after the appointment and keeping me updated about an upcoming sale. While I ended up buying my dress elsewhere (found one that I instantly loved in NYC by a designer that was exclusive to the store), I would recommend L&H Bridal without hesitation to any future bride! read more

I went into this appointment with a lot of nerves. I had been having health issues that have caused me to gain a significant amount of weight. I was nervous about them having dresses in my size to try on, but they reassured me that they did. I showed up to the appointment with my mom, grandmother, and aunt and Annette was my consultant. She was absolutely amazing and made me.feel so good about myself. I told her I was an open book and she put me in everything. My last dress of the appointment became THE dress is was opposite of what I was looking at , but it's like Annette knew this was going to be my dress. Wow! Just left L and H and had the best experience! I have been to four other bridal places prior coming to L and H, and none compare to the high quality service I received here. I worked with Annette and she was super helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and found dresses that were able to highlight my best assets. I purchased my wedding gown from L&H Bridal over a year ago. At first, I was underwhelmed by the experience. I had to wait 20 minutes or so to be seen, regardless of an appointment. I believe they were behind in schedule, which happens but I also wasn't a fan of feeling rushed which is how my appointment started. However, unlike my first dress shopping experience at another store, my consultant Tara showed me exactly what I was looking for in my price range in probably under 15 minutes. So in hindsight, I might not have been rushed, she just knew what she was doing. Once I had my dress on, Tara let me stay in it for as long as I needed. By the end of my appointment, I didn't want to take it off. Overall, I was pleased with the end result and service. Specifically, I would like to shout out Tara. L&H Bridal & Annette thank you for helping me find my perfect wedding dress! It made me feel so beautiful and special on my big day. I visited several bridal shops in NY, NJ, and PA. I was referred to L&H from one of my best friends - who also got her dress there and had a great experience. L&H is such a nice business and the staff was always so friendly. Annette in particular was extremely helpful. I brought some photos of dresses I liked all in the 10K+ range (way out of my budget) and she was able to help me find a dress just as lovely for much, much less! They have such a huge selection of dresses, so it was nice to see all the different options. When I returned for my fittings, they had finished renovations to the upstairs dressing room and it is so nice! I had my alterations done by L&H and they really worked with me to get the look I wanted. Our groomsmen also got their outfits from L&H - I would highly recommend this as it ended up working out really well. We were able to find a reasonable priced tux rental and shoes. Some of the groomsmen in the Philly area went on their own to the shop to get measured, the others sent in their measurements. L&H gave us deadlines to get all the measurements in by, so we wouldn't have any issues with the order. All the tuxes came in the Wednesday before the wedding and my parents were able to pick up everything along with my dress. They brought it all up to NYC for our wedding and then returned it the Monday after the wedding. The whole process was extremely smooth. I had the greatest experience with all of the women at L&H Bridal, especially Margie. I not only ordered my dress with L&H, but got all of the bridesmaids dresses from there as well. Even though I reside in LA, I was having my wedding back East where I grew up. I had originally found the dress I wanted at a shop in LA so I contacted L&H to see if they were able to get the dress in stock. Not only were they accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments and fittings long distance, but they also had the best price for my dress compared to dozens of other shops I called in the Tri-state area. They sent me photos right away of my dress when it came in to give me piece of mind that it was the correct dress, color, and size that I had ordered. When I came in for my first fitting, I thought I was going to have a heart attack because although the dress fit fantastic, it was a full embroidered mermaid style with a corset, zipper and 20 buttons which made it difficult to sit down. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to sit in my dress, but their seamstress is an incredible miracle worker and used her fairy godmother magic so it looked even better the second time I tried it on... AND I was able to sit comfortably. I was so in love with my dress and am so grateful to everyone at L&H who helped me out. In addition, Margie helped me find the perfect bridesmaid dress for my bridal party. I wanted all of my girls to be in the same dress even though they varied in body types. Margie was able to snag a beautiful, yet sexy dress from a trunk show and held it until I was able to fly in during the holidays to see it.
