We have been provided the absolute most disgusting customer service by the owner. We brought in 22 pieces of shirt to be pressed and when we went to pick up our order the following day we were told there is a batch of 4 shirts where 3 are ready but one of them is still air drying as that shirt require air dry. We chose to pick up all four together the following day. Two days later we went back and we're told the order is not ready the one shirt is being worked on. I mentioned what we were told two days ago and the person tells me let me check. Comes back and says the shirt just came out the wash please give us five mine we will press it. I mentioned about being told it needed air dried but let them carry on. I was handed my cloths without any word and a yellow tag that said sorry and some fine orints. I happened to read the fine print and inspect the shirt about the stain and called my husband immediately as I did not recall him ever wearing that shirt or it having a stain. It was a new shirt!!! He confirmed so I go back and tell the staff and mention how they didn't have the audacity to tell Me what was going on and the same shirt has a broken button which was not the case when we brought the shirt in. They said they will take the shirt back and remove the stain. We received a text message saying our order was ready and go in and are told still not ready. The owner will be in tomorrow between 8-noon if you would like to speak to him. Today, I go back in and the shirt is still in same condition and I am told there is someone coming to test the machine to see what the issue is and what can have caused the stain. I request that I be giving a call when it's done and then ultimately decided that instead I would like to receive the refund form as I have no hope and this is the fourth time I've being told something different. The staff proceeds to go back to owner (which they do every communication we have with them) and comes back and says he would like to ensure this is our issue before that. I said well the stain wasn't there when we brought it in so doesn't matter the issue at this time I would like to speak to him. She proceeds to go back and says his on a break so can't come out. I ask "are you serious", the owner can't come out a break for a customer who has been here four times for an issue that was caused on your end? He proceeds to go back there and comes back with, he will call me once the expert comes and tests the machine out. I said to her yesterday we are told the owner will be here 8-12 and now at 11:50 you are telling me the owner cannot come out and speak to a customer because his ona. Break for the next 15 minutes and is expecting me to wait? It is BEYOND acceptable for an owner to give that sort of a service to any customer of their let alone someone's cloths that were damaged in your store!!!! I told her I would be taking this issue to corporate and she said sorry he wants to be sure it's our issue! I walked out the store awaiting for the owner to call me which I suspect will not happen and it will be a staff if any! Sure enough.. no calls! We called back and the owner claimed it was a "food stain"! On a brand new shirt we brought and took to press before wearing! Ridiculous.. save your money and cloths. Find a different location that will appreciates the customer and their business as well as the belonging! read more

After my last FOUR visits here and personally witnessing the staff get verbally ATTACKED - I felt compelled to review. I've been using this Zips forever. I have NEVER had ANYTHING but a positive experience with them. The girls, the seamstress and management have all been professional PATIENT and kind. The service has consistently been as promised and completed in a timely manner. I have even left things in my pockets here and they bag them and put them in the safe until I return. I can't say one bad thing about the place. I am disgusted that the last four times I've been here they were being attacked by ignorant individuals. For NO FAULT on their part. They are short staffed. HOURS have been adjusted. I was told IN PERSON at drop off. VISUALLY been informed via the signs ALL OVER the store and doors/windows - and furthermore have seen it posted ON THEIR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA. There is NO EXCUSE to treat other humans with such disrespect, much less over your own lack of attention, ignorance and lack of proper planning. Took 8 garments to be dry cleaned last week. 4 items returned to me with issues. 2 linen blouses still had stains 1 pair of pants where orange, it was returned faded and now peach 1 pair of pants are white denim capris, are shrunken by at least two sizes. Spoke to the "Boss". He told me I must have purchased the pants too small. Then said he measured them and they are the size that the label says they are. The waist is now approximately 2 sizes too small. Then he stated that I could have brought the orange pants in that way. "They cleaned them according to the label instructions. " He refused to to accept any responsibility. Prior to this incident and the pandemic I was a loyal customer. I never had an issue or was dissatisfied with service. Poor communication about hours of operation. Receipt shows Saturday hours of 8A-7p but they are closed on Saturdays. Took 30 pieces to dry clean, mostly dress shirts for work. There was also a black suit for a funeral I had to attend. I picked up the lot two days later without checking. On the day of the funeral, when I tried on the pants, it DID NOT FIT and had to wear mismatched pants. I brought the pants back figuring they gave me someone else's, they gave me a size 12 slim​ kids pants. I don't have any minor children and I sure do not wear a size 12 BOY slim. They stated that they checked the camera and was sure that the pants they gave back was mine, eventhough when they put it in a cart with other pants when I dropped it off. Let me start off by saying I have been a LOYAL customer of Zips since 2011-2012(ish). They have cleaned coffee stains out of my Coach jacket (multiple times) but in recent years have gone a bit downhill (after a price increase nevertheless). I don't mind paying more ($2.00 is a STEAL for mostly quality work), but the attitude of the employees is inexcusable. I've had a Calvin Klein dress rejected before because they didn't have the solvents necessary to clean the garment without damaging it, and I very much appreciated them letting me know what was going on and not cleaning the piece improperly and damaging the unit unnecessarily. Over the past couple of months the attitude of the girls at the counter have been inexcusable. I had two faux fur coats rejected today, (which is fine, I'd rather them not be ruined) but when I asked as to why, the girl could literally give me no information. The more questions I asked like more attitude she gave me. ("What am I signing?," "Why am I signing again?," "Why were they rejected?," "Can you suggest some place that will clean these?" -- to which I clarified, if you can't suggest anything because they're a competitor, I completely understand). When I asked her if there was someone who could answer my questions with any sort of intelligence, because of lot of my questions were unanswered, she rolled her eyes, sighed and said "well there ain't no one here." I eventually get out of her that pieces were rejected because they were fur-- but they weren't fur, they were faux fur that had no special instructions on the tag aside from "dry clean only." I've had faux fur pieces taken here before (and they've done a nice job), hence why I brought two new pieces the other day. She then contradicted herself saying "Oh they were rejected because they were faux fur and need to be sent out..." Sent out where? Can you send them out? Like why were these questions so hard? Come on. Let me be clear, I'm not mad that they were rejected, I'm just upset at the overall tone of the conversation. I would just suggest that the employees there learn to check their attitudes when customers ask some questions or learn to speak with some sort of knowledge about what they're doing. All of my questions were valid, and honestly I don't think anyone should just accept things point blank without being inquisitive. All of the attitude that she received on my end was in reaction to the attitude she was giving me which was unacceptable. You just don't speak to customers in that tone when they're asking questions about your job-- something that they're in wrong for not being able to answer. I'm giving two stars because I have had wonderful experiences in the past, but yesterday I was very disappointed in the customer service aspect and it only takes one bad experience to out weigh all of the good. Not often I use a dry cleaner but this Bensalem Zips Cleaners was there and decided to put two linen blouses to be dry cleaned. Easy Peasy! I picked up my dry cleaning the next day, and two days later, I removed the garments from the plastic and was about to donned my attire to wear the light blue blouse and saw my blouse faded with three large holes and a snag mark on the right sleeve! On Monday, I spoke with "Guy N.", about the condition of my blouse. Now, he's getting rude, loud and disrespectful! He stated, "I must have put the holes in this blouse and it was not their fault and he was not accepting any responsibility for my garment"! Going back and forth on the difference of opinion and what his store policy is on damaged clothing as a responsible merchant. By his request to determine who is at fault, return the garment to the store and he would send it to a lab in Maryland for textile analysis. I assured Guy I am an expert in material analysis of textiles. After several emails going back and forth about why he was requesting this analysis, because it's not stated on the back of his receipt or policy posted in the store. I tried calling ZIPS HQ in Maryland to get more details but the call was bounced to a store. Complying with his requests, by email the garment was dropped off that afternoon for further analysis. Without a chain of custody report for me to sign for Zips to send it to their contract lab. ( This is required by all labs). I proceeded to contact this lab to ask a few questions and determine legitimacy. There is a two week turn around for analysis. In turn, I called the franchise headquarters in Maryland but the phone number bounced to a ZIPS store in Greenbelt!!! This is not acceptable! There is no mask mandate for businesses in Bensalem, yet I was refused service today, October 1, 2021 at approximately 7:30am, if I did not wear a mask. I left the building and I will never return. been going here for several months, $1.99 dry cleaning for any garment and $1.39 for shirts. not only is that dirt cheap, they deliver same day. in by 9am, ready by 5pm. in after 9am, ready by 5pm the following day. i stopped going to my regular dry cleaners that is only a block away from my house and drive 20 minutes to here for price and speed of service. but as of 10/18/14 they raised shirts from $1.39 to $1.69. that's almost a 25% hike. This was my first time at Zips and it was recommended to me because they did a great job and they were quick and they had the hours that worked best for me. Well it states they are open from 7 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday. I went on Thursday night at 7:00 pm to get 1 dress shirt pressed and they were closed. So when I went this morning I was thinking it wouldn't be a big deal because they promote "in by 9 out by 5" so I went in at 9 am and they told me I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Monday evening. This place is horrible! My son took pants to be hemmed, they hemmed too short! Thankfully, they didn't cut too much of the material so we took them to another cleaner and they fixed the problem. The other cleaners laughed at the botched job and couldn't believe a professional did the hemming. We dropped off clothes to be dry cleaned Monday morning, asked if we could pick them up the next day along with clothes that were already in, yea, sure, no problem we were told, went Tuesday to pick everything up, wasn't ready. Speaking to the owner, he told me we were never told clothes would be ready on Tuesday, they only produce on Mon, Wed, and Fri... so you're calling my son a liar, was very rude, couldn't be bothered. I hardly take the time to write a review, but I am beyond fed up with this place. I have been going to ZIPS for years; however, the service is getting so bad. I stopped going for a while because they kept messing up my clothes. I don't know why I even went back in again. I was in the area and had my clothes in the trunk. I figured maybe things have changed. I took several items to get dry cleaned and didn't realize I had items to get altered. I decided to just leave the alteration. One dress and one romper required new zippers. I was given a price and when I said I needed invisible zippers the young man that took care of me told me it would be more money,, I said fine and left the items. I paid almost $90.00 for the dry cleaning and alterations. Fast forward to today. I went to pick up my clothes and they used a regular zipper. Why? You see it has an invisible zipper why wouldn't you check the slip to confirm I paid for the same zipper?? It was marked on the tag. It's like they do what ever they want? This is not the first time I had issues with the zippers. I won't be coming here ever again. I just asked for the difference in price when I should have asked for the cost of the repairs in full. read more

I have been coming to this Zip's location for a few years. They used to be good. The prices were good, quick service and clothes looked nice. Somehow over the past six months or so the quality has declined to the point of jumping the shark. I have received many shirts with wrinkles pressed into the collar and cuffs. Pants that are pressed on the legs but not on seams....looks like a second seam and with the tops still wrinkled. I also can count on broken buttons on shirts. If I have a button down collar with a half button remaining I obviously cannot wear it. I'm not sure why the steep decline in quality but it seems as if they have people that don't care or are not trained correctly. I only would recommend if you are in a pinch and don't care they use a waffle iron. I am looking somewhere else to go and will gladly pay more or wait longer to get clothes back that don't embarrass me when I wear them to work. Zip's I am disappointed. read more

For some reason they keep raising the prices, not sure why the place is always busy. For the most part I'm happy. My complaint would be they never follow the crease in the slacks. It's sloppy and just plain unacceptable, there is no reason to have 2 crease lines in the front of my pants. They usually do a good job on the shirts, especially the uniform, always ask for heavy starch and military crease in the patch area. It is convenient that they guarantee next day. I'll return some unless they raise the prices again, for that price I'll just go to a mom and pop cleaner. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received. They dry cleaned my dress that was black and white and after dry cleaning it, it became a black and beige dress. The "manager" (not sure how he could be any type of manager with his attitude/lack of customer service) was rude and ignorant. He blamed me for not knowing that the black fabric would bleed into the white. Last time I checked, I am not in the dry cleaning business and I should have been notified PRIOR to the dress being cleaned of this potential damage to my dress (just like it says on the website: "garments can be rejected if they can not be safely cleaned"). When I told him I should have been notified prior to this, he said "we have no proof of the condition of the dress when it was brought in." Anyone with an eye would realize that this was a black and WHITE dress, not a black and "discolored" dress. He offered no solution other than saying they could "try and clean it again but it would never be the same", basically contradicting himself since he said they didn't know the condition of the dress brought in. I will be contacting the corporate office and will never recommend this ZIPS or any ZIPS for that matter and will be sure to tell all my friends and family about this horrible experience. read more

I came to pick them up and somehow magically had 1 less item of clothing. I called to explain how I went in there with 6 items, only to leave with 5. They had a refund slip on there marked after the time I left the store so whoever tagged my clothes changed the slip in the system so I'm out 1 shirt and the money I spent to get it cleaned. Short review: Took a dress in that had synthetic leather trim. When I picked up the dress noticed the trim was dehydrated and ruined. It was hard, dry, cracked and the fabric around it was tight like it felt shrunken. Basically the dress was ruined. I've had this dress dried cleaned before without any issues. The owner was very rude and condescending and did not refund me my money. Long story short: Avoid this place! It's better to go to a true professional dry cleaners that know what they are doing and pay more than have your clothes ruined. Poor customer service in general. read more

I've never had a thing go missing, poor creases, or a damaged shirt, and I've taken over 200 things there since I've started with Zips. Their alterations are so great, though I've only ever given them things to stitch back up and not actual alterations that require hemming me up. Love this place all around. AWFUL! Enticed by Zips great pricing, I went out of my way to try their services and took 2 neck ties to be dry cleaned. Upon pick up, one was still stained and the other was mangled. On second trip to pick up the same ties, one was still crumpled and not even close to wearable. I wondered aloud if anyone even looked at it after they pressed it. Not even an apology, but MAYBE the 3rd time will be a charm! NEVER AGAIN! I may pay a bit more, but one trip and it will done right at my usual cleaners. read more

I worked at a cleaners growing up and if we noticed a broken button we fixed it at no charge and would never send them out the door like that. Im mean, obviously it was broken from your machines.
