    We have been provided the absolute most disgusting customer service by the owner. We brought in 22 pieces of shirt to be pressed and when we went to pick up our order the following day we were told there is a batch of 4 shirts where 3 are ready but one of them is still air drying as that shirt require air dry. We chose to pick up all four together the following day. Two days later we went back and we're told the order is not ready the one shirt is being worked on. I mentioned what we were told two days ago and the person tells me let me check. Comes back and says the shirt just came out the wash please give us five mine we will press it. I mentioned about being told it needed air dried but let them carry on. I was handed my cloths without any word and a yellow tag that said sorry and some fine orints. I happened to read the fine print and inspect the shirt about the stain and called my husband immediately as I did not recall him ever wearing that shirt or it having a stain. It was a new shirt!!! He confirmed so I go back and tell the staff and mention how they didn't have the audacity to tell Me what was going on and the same shirt has a broken button which was not the case when we brought the shirt in. They said they will take the shirt back and remove the stain. We received a text message saying our order was ready and go in and are told still not ready. The owner will be in tomorrow between 8-noon if you would like to speak to him. Today, I go back in and the shirt is still in same condition and I am told there is someone coming to test the machine to see what the issue is and what can have caused the stain. I request that I be giving a call when it's done and then ultimately decided that instead I would like to receive the refund form as I have no hope and this is the fourth time I've being told something different. The staff proceeds to go back to owner (which they do every communication we have with them) and comes back and says he would like to ensure this is our issue before that. I said well the stain wasn't there when we brought it in so doesn't matter the issue at this time I would like to speak to him. She proceeds to go back and says his on a break so can't come out. I ask "are you serious", the owner can't come out a break for a customer who has been here four times for an issue that was caused on your end? He proceeds to go back there and comes back with, he will call me once the expert comes and tests the machine out. I said to her yesterday we are told the owner will be here 8-12 and now at 11:50 you are telling me the owner cannot come out and speak to a customer because his ona. Break for the next 15 minutes and is expecting me to wait? It is BEYOND acceptable for an owner to give that sort of a service to any customer of their let alone someone's cloths that were damaged in your store!!!! I told her I would be taking this issue to corporate and she said sorry he wants to be sure it's our issue! I walked out the store awaiting for the owner to call me which I suspect will not happen and it will be a staff if any! Sure enough.. no calls! We called back and the owner claimed it was a "food stain"! On a brand new shirt we brought and took to press before wearing! Ridiculous.. save your money and cloths. Find a different location that will appreciates the customer and their business as well as the belonging!

    I've never had an issue with how they clean clothes BUT they need to get their messaging straight. Last time, about a month ago, they offered same day dry cleaning. Now they tell me we haven't offered that since May. When I asked about the sign in the window, the employee said, oh that's a corporate sign, we don't follow it. So why have the sign in the window?

    Poor communication about hours of operation. Receipt shows Saturday hours of 8A-7p but they are closed on Saturdays. Receipts should print correct hours & customers should be informed when dropping items off. 3 other frustrated customers were standing outside when I arrived Saturday at 1pm ,unable to get clothes needed for weekend events.

    Let me start off by saying I have been a LOYAL customer of Zips since 2011-2012(ish). They have cleaned coffee stains out of my Coach jacket (multiple times) but in recent years have gone a bit downhill (after a price increase nevertheless). I don't mind paying more ($2.00 is a STEAL for mostly quality work), but the attitude of the employees is inexcusable. I've had a Calvin Klein dress rejected before because they didn't have the solvents necessary to clean the garment without damaging it, and I very much appreciated them letting me know what was going on and not cleaning the piece improperly and damaging the unit unnecessarily. Over the past couple of months the attitude of the girls at the counter have been inexcusable. I had two faux fur coats rejected today, (which is fine, I'd rather them not be ruined) but when I asked as to why, the girl could literally give me no information. The more questions I asked like more attitude she gave me. ("What am I signing?," "Why am I signing again?," "Why were they rejected?," "Can you suggest some place that will clean these?" -- to which I clarified, if you can't suggest anything because they're a competitor, I completely understand). When I asked her if there was someone who could answer my questions with any sort of intelligence, because of lot of my questions were unanswered, she rolled her eyes, sighed and said "well there ain't no one here." I eventually get out of her that pieces were rejected because they were fur-- but they weren't fur, they were faux fur that had no special instructions on the tag aside from "dry clean only." I've had faux fur pieces taken here before (and they've done a nice job), hence why I brought two new pieces the other day. She then contradicted herself saying "Oh they were rejected because they were faux fur and need to be sent out..." Sent out where? Can you send them out? Like why were these questions so hard? Come on. Let me be clear, I'm not mad that they were rejected, I'm just upset at the overall tone of the conversation. I would just suggest that the employees there learn to check their attitudes when customers ask some questions or learn to speak with some sort of knowledge about what they're doing. All of my questions were valid, and honestly I don't think anyone should just accept things point blank without being inquisitive. All of the attitude that she received on my end was in reaction to the attitude she was giving me which was unacceptable. You just don't speak to customers in that tone when they're asking questions about your job-- something that they're in wrong for not being able to answer. I'm giving two stars because I have had wonderful experiences in the past, but yesterday I was very disappointed in the customer service aspect and it only takes one bad experience to out weigh all of the good. I will be returning based solely on convenience and price point.

    This is my go to spot for my dry cleaning needs. They offer good service at an affordable price. Regardless of the time of day I am always in and out within minutes. The best part is if you drop your clothes off before 9am your clothes will be ready the same day.

I was told everything would be ready for pick-up on Saturday (as stated on the receipt) so I stopped in yesterday. The clothes are needed for work on Monday morning. When I handed the cashier my receipt, I was informed that my blouses were ready, but not my pants. I was not happy with this. The owner, Ria, approached me and said she didn't have my pants and asked when I needed them. I explained I work in Center City and wouldn't have time to come by before work on Monday. She said she could meet me at the dry cleaners today (Sunday) and provide the pants. My understanding is they don't dry clean dress slacks on premise. She took down my phone number and said she'd call me. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from Ria saying she had 4 pairs of pants ready and was willing to drop them off to me at my doorstep. I didn't know what to say. She drove from her home to get me my pants and hand them to me. The customer service blew me away. Ria said I would get a text message indicating when I could pick up the remaining pairs of pants. I'm sure you could imagine how displeased I could've been walking away from this business, but Ria was quick to turn a negative experience around and make sure I was a happy client. I can't thank Ria and Julie's enough for their dedication to their customers.

    DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give them zero stars, I would. I picked up a jacket that needed repair/…read morepatching and they did a super sloppy job. The cotton filling was still visible. I couldn't believe that an establishment with so many years of business would think it would be acceptable to give me my item back in this condition. I would have rather her said she wasn't able to do it. When I brought it to her attention, she said she did a good job and there was nothing else that could be done. It's clear they don't take pride in their work, just a way to make money. She made no effort to remedy the situation after I told her I was unhappy. She was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I went in on a Tuesday, asked if they could alter and clean my suit by Friday, and got an affirmative. The lady running the place did seem a little hesitant to actually measure me, instead just asking me what my measurements were, but when I said I'd like to get fitted for the hem, there was no issue. She took the measurements, then TOLD me the measurement (I'm a 32 suit inseam, LADIES....), then told me anytime after Thursday I could pick up. I went back late afternoon Thursday, and was greeted by two friendly pugs/lhasa apso/mutt dogs, and got my suit and shirt, no muss, no fuss. The cost was $26, and I have NO idea if that's high/low/industry standard, but I paid and left with no problems. The man and woman in there are very nice, and I wouldn't have any qualms about going back. I'm just not much of a dry clean type of guy.
