My wife wanted a small metal canister engraved with her father's name, date of birth, and the date of his passing so she could keep some of his ashes. Since neither of us has had much (any, really) engraving done in the past, she searched Google for nearby engravers and found L&J. She brought in the canister, left it to be done, and picked it up in a few days. It turned out beautifully, beyond her expectations, even. And the price was so low, she almost felt guilty. If you need any kind of engraving done, I highly recommend you check with L&J first. They don't have a fancy storefront or anything like that. I'll tell you why I went to L & J Engraving, it was because I needed a mother of pearl, small pocket knife engraved. So what do you do when you are looking to have something done?, You Google, L & J Engraving came up and I read all of the wonderful things about them i called. She (the owner?) was pretty honest that she didn't think she could do it, being such a small area. As we were hanging up she mentioned that she could engrave it like on a little piece of metal(?) then attach it to the knife. The next day I brought it in and we sorta talked it over. She made it up and they trimmed it a little so more of the pearl would show. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I could not have imagined how beautiful. Then she says $5. My father was a small business owner.
