I hired L&L for a home renovation, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Communication throughout the project was inconsistent -- updates were rare, and I often had to reach out multiple times to get basic information. This lack of clarity caused delays and unnecessary stress. In addition, the quality of the work did not meet expectations. Several areas were finished hastily, with visible flaws that required additional repairs. While most of the team was polite in person, the overall execution and attention to detail fell short. We have wanted to replace our vinyl siding with Hardi products for years. L&L held a meeting in their conference room with my husband and I, our sales team, project manager, the local Hardi representative, and various members of their staff. They made sure of what we wanted prior to giving us a final cost. They provided addresses of previous projects so we could see examples of their work. Our project manager, Allan, was phenomenal. He was determined to make sure our expectations were met. Due to my husband's bad back, he spent an entire day helping us prepare for the job. The gentleman that sold us on the project, Jeremy, stayed involved during the entire process. The crew was wonderful, and the final outcome was amazing. Although the Hardi product alone would have been a big improvement, the added detail in which the product was applied made the outstanding difference! I was referred to L&L by a coworker after having significant storm damage to my roof. Willie Castello came out and did my estimate for me and he spent a lot of time helping me navigate my expectations with my insurance claim as well as going above and beyond to make sure I was spared as much stress as possible. He worked out a better deal for me than I could have even imagined. Next came the ladies of the office, Rachel, Taryn and Ana.. they were also superhero's. I was worried a couple of times that my insurance had driven them completely crazy but they maintained the same beautiful demeanor they started out with, along the entire way. They truly were there for me the entire time. Allen Cox ran the project when it came down to the installation and he too was an absolute blessing. I pray success over this company in everything they do. My entire experience start to finish with every single step was more than I could have asked for. I had a roof issue and contacted this company, signed a tarping contract, and paid the FULL invoice amount - 500 usd- the same day the invoice was sent to me, I was following up to see the next steps, with no response, after more than one month, 3 persons knocked my door asking to collect money that I already paid more than 1 month ago, they were very ignorant, after waiting for long period although I did my part, now I am searching for another company. ZERO stars. Should be negative. I should have ran the other way. Buckle in - it's gonna be a wild ride. After calling and making an appt to speak with a sales rep - he didn't even bother showing up. Since it was later in the day right before 5 - so you know no one is going to answer the phone, they didn't. So I sent an email to the chick that I set the appt up with. Turns out he had it written in is calendar wrong. Did he really? Who knows. We moved forward. I should not have. A week later I recieved a phone call asking for a 5-star review. They ask for a 5-star review on google. So the 5 stars that you see on here are fake. Nice. Fast forward we were told the color of siding and trim we wanted were a normal regular order. Nothing special. We get a call from the sales rep stating our order was in route to the warehouse and that he needed to call to have them hold it while the financing was being worked on. Cool. We started in July - spoiler alert - I'm writing this in October and we still don't have the siding on. In the meantime I get a call from our PM who will be completing the job. When he called he didn't even know what we were having done and anything that was going on. Professional note: have a damn clue what the hell you're doing BEFORE calling the client. Fast forward a week. I get a call on Sat from the PM stating that nothing of ours has been ordered and that its a special order and it will take 6-8 wks. I asked about what was in the warehouse that was supposed to be on hold. He kept saying "ma'am I've never met you". I wasn't aware that I had to meet someone in person to have a conversation with them. I question all of my conversations to this day. Jesus. Called the sales rep and he stated "I'll call him - he probably called the wrong supplier". Well, that's promising. I was told I would get a call that Monday to figure things out. I didn't. I had to reach out first. Still working on it and sitting with the Operations Mgr to figure things out. Since I'm not in the construction industry I asked my hubby what that meant. He said "someone F'd up and now they are scrambling and restructuring what to do". He nailed it. That's what happened. So then we had the sales rep, Operations Mgr, Sales Mgr all out to the house to discuss what happened and how to salvage moving forward. This was my 2nd time I should have ran away. Fast forward 6 wks. We always knew that we would have a tentative schedule due to weather and material supplies. R'cvd a call 3 days before the material was supposed to be here and our start date, we were told that the company making the coil trim no longer was making that color. They just decided not to. While this is a supplier issue, it really did make this whole fiasco worse. Day of delivery. We got the materials delivered and I was told that it would be on a pallet and wrapped. Then the PM would come out and inspect the items to make sure the job was good to go. Its not on a pallet. Its randomly in my yard. No one has come out to inspect it. It was delivered Wed. Today is Friday and no one has been out and I still have no start date. Still. I should have ran the other way. I should have cut my losses and canceled this project. I don't feel like I got value for the services I paid for. Which in my mind was QUITE a bit. Not happy and I can't recommend this company. Not in the slightest. DO NOT recommend. There were other issues, but its been 4 mos and I'm forgetting some things and I'm out of patience and super frustrated. I can only hope that the install will go smoothly but I feel like I'm going to add to this after its all said and done. UPDATE: Siding is finally on, but we have extra stuff. Was told that the project was overbudgeted. So I believe I was overcharged. They said its on their side not ours. Um, MY BID IS YOUR BUDGET. That's how construction works. So we had them come and fix things like my lights fell off the house, the flood light didn't work, the caulk around the windows was horrible and they damaged shingles on my roof. I wouldn't use them again for anything else. read more

Keep forgetting yelp isn't all about food. Getting ready for my next project and looking online to get their number; if I can afford it and they bid close will absolutely use them again. New roof and a great roof over the 20 x 25 patio about three years ago. Mark Gilliday was our estimator and our project manager. On site most every day and the days he wasn't he called to let me know - plus I know enough about construction and code to be comfortable if he had to step away for a bit. When he initially bid he even put the CAD drawing out for us (ha even put in a shade line so we could see how it would fall). Made a GREAT suggestion on the roof line to add light and visibility. They were not the cheapest, but not high by much. Close enough to run with someone I felt comfortable with. This is the first time in my 30 years of owning several homes I've ever let anyone do improvements - because I know how to do them and too many contractors out there do not. or if they do they won't do whats right. We are now getting closer to closing in the patio area for a 4 seasons sunroom and i'm about to call. read more

Can not say enough good!!! We had a 3 car garage added, a closet remodel, that included a staircase removal and a few smaller jobs done. Our team was Brian and Tony. They answer every question, offer many, many options, explain things and then kindly did it again when we got confused. Brain super friendly, fast reply to text and phone calls, but we were normally just getting back to him, Brain was always checking in with us making sure we were happy with the way things were going and what the next steps would be. Tony, what can I say, the man knows everything, can do anything you can dream up, to perfection, all while cracking you up.Tony kept things stress free with his humor and strong work ethic. I needed siding replaced from wind damage. Dave was quick in getting me an estimate, which was $600 less than another estimate! His team did a great job; they were professional, got the job done fast and thoroughly cleaned up when finished. My townhouse is connected to a ranch-style condo (looks like duplex). The guys had to stand on my neighbor's roof in order to repair my siding; the team was extremely respectful of my neighbor and his property which I truly appreciated! We had a 100 Year old tree fall in our backyard last month destroying our deck, gutters, roof, & damaged our chimney. I called 3 contractors to get bids & only Mark Gilday at L&L Contractors responded immediately. He came out climbed in my attic on a very hot day & spent a good hour or more here inspecting the damage. Within a day he had an estimate for us. After waiting 2 days for the other guys to come one came & gave me an estimated 3 days later. The other still wasn't coming until the following week. We decided to go ahead & let L & L do the work. They were superior! I can't say enough good things about them. The work was done beyond our satisfaction. They were all courteous, cleaned up after themselves each day & got the work done in a timely fashion. I would have them come again if we needed anything else done.
