My family and I stumbled across this little liquor and sandwich shop exploring the area. Our first visit they had already closed the deli for the day but we were invited to come back for their tri tip sandwich which they only serve on Saturdays. Be there early they said. I was there early. They don't plan for their tri tip sandwich supplies very well. In less than the 30 minutes I stood in line to try their popular sandwich I get to the counter to order only to be told they were completely sold out as they reserved their remaining supply of tri tip for the people that were lucky enough to order while they had supply available. They also kept customers in line hanging thinking they might have enough instead of just informing everyone they didn't get enough supply and make everyone wait for something they wouldn't be able to purchase. Got the Saturday (only) tritip sandwich plus the hot pastrami. Both sandwiches were very good. Tritip cut thin and a good smokey flavor. Pastrami was very tender, juicy and delicious. Both on a nice soft roll. Highly recommend you try at least once. Service was a little slow so be prepared to wait a bit. Came in today to get there tri tip sandwich's with my husband, there was so so much cross contamination going on it was not even funny they were touching everything and anything without changing out there gloves at all and changing out the bourd for everybody to see saying there sold out then going right back to touching sandwich's. It took us over an hour to get our sandwich's yes there great and taste great but they need to fix so much so so much stuff and the owner is so so nice and the service was great and the place was clean some what from I could see the owner kept picking up after everyone at the deli and saying sorry it was taking so long and making it right . I would try this place again but they need to to not cross contamination of everything and change there gloves all the time for everyone's safety and well being and everything if there having food. This is a family friends business and yes this was the first time we have ever been in there ever! I wish they made my sandwich right also I asked for light mayo and light mustard and they gave me no sauce at all on my sandwich and we didn't even know bbq sauce came on the sandwich's and the lady who made my sandwich didn't even know I said i wanted light mustard and light mayo said extras onion and extra tomato and I got None of that, that I asked for my my sandwich. I came today for my first time and I loved it! I ordered a pastrami sandwich. It was the best pastrami sandwich I ever had in a deli!! It was fresh and had lots of meat and veggies on the sandwich. Great price for a big sandwich! The woman who works behind the counter are all very kind and social which I like! I've been coming here since before I could remember. I love this place. Always reminds of the days my grandpa took me finishing and we'd always stop and get a sub to split. That being said I don't mind waiting or it being busy. But gosh the lady in the glasses can be so rude every time I've come in here last couple times. She said she couldn't take my order I said okay sat down. About 10 minutes go by I get back up approach the counter because she walked back up to it. She then tells me no I can't take your order I have to sweep sorry just very rudely. So I go purchase my chips and drinks go wait outside. Then they proceeded to take others orders. Sandwiches are not as good as they used to be. Today I got the veggie. Flavor was okay, but seemed to be very skimpy on ingredients, especially compared to how thick the bread is. Cheese was broken into small pieces on the bread instead of whole slices (presumably to make it go farther), so it didn't even cover the bread properly... and without meat the cheese needs to be generous, imo. Very thin layer of avocado and tomatoes were forgotten. OV local, used to love this place but at $10 for this skimpy thing, I won't be back. read more

So disappointing after many good reviews. Got a large hot pastrami and a cup of chili. It's lunch time and there were a lot of call in orders. After about 20 minutes I asked if there was an idea when my sandwich would be made. I got a snippy answer about cooking the meat and how I wouldn't want raw pastrami. Didn't need the attitude just a ball park answer. Came home was my sandwich and had a couple bites. Bread wasn't anything special. Pastrami was grisly and super fatty. The whole thing was so unappealing. I opened my chili and first thing that struck me was it smelled like a very popular store bought canned chili. After a few bites I was convinced it tasted like canned chili. So either their recipe needs help or they need to quit passing this off as homemade chili. I come here because it is family and locally owned - even if I do pay a little more. I decided to have a sandwich before my eye exam so I orderd up the large turkey with swiss and avacado..huge sandwhich, bread was fresh, soft and filled a brother up.
