After getting her car towed to Amarillo and attempting to get it repaired on Sunday to no avail, I turned to Yelp for help. I found a shop with great reviews for helping stranded travelers, especially on weekends. I fired off a message and accidentally turned it into a project which added Bryan's Auto and Body to my message. And it's a good thing because Bryan was the only response I ever got. He said they could definitely get it looked at, but it would be Monday. It didn't take long to see this was as good as it was gonna get. But it got better when, not only were they able to get it looked at on Monday, but were able to get the alternator and flywheel replaced on Monday. Melissa and Bryan were tremendously helpful. I drove up to Amarillo to get my daughter back to Albuquerque and was working with them through Yelp messages, emails and phone calls. I have a great mechanic in DFW that took me years to luck into, but managed to find the same level of service through Yelp in a faraway city through apps and phone calls when I didn't have a clue where to go. Matt is the perfect example of going above and beyond!!! Started out on an 8 week road trip. First…read morenight we stayed in Williams, AZ. We woke up to our bedroom and bathroom flooded, which had leaked all night out the side wall. After calling Forrest Rivers 24 hour service, which was useless... they stated if we wanted to keep going on our trip, we had to find a mobile RV repair company, but they would not send anybody out due to COVID. It was either turn around and cancel or press on and take our chances. As we pressed on, we knew our next stop would be Amarillo. I got on Yelp and ran upon Matt. The best decision we could've made on this trip. I called him on the road, texted him pics and he kept in touch with us, until we got into town. Once he met up with us, we followed him to his home out in the country.... gave us a very reasonable price, pointed us in the direction of lunch and told us it would be all done after lunch. Sure enough, Matt did not disappoint!!! He even went above and beyond, fixing little things we didn't even notice, and shared his knowledge of what would help us out on our road trip. You just don't find the friendly customer service and knowledge like Matt anymore!!
