I have had my hair cut and beard trimmed by almost every professional in this company, and each one is an artist in their own right. What's even cooler, where I came from, we didn't have this true, old school barber shop experience, so I am loving it. From the heating shaving cream, to the hot towel, to the clean lines done with a straight razor, not to mention the good conversation, these folks are doing it right. The referee was kind, but I don't really remember the cut because when finished, she asked if I wanted the "MVP Experience." My wife was upset because before entering the game, she told me not to accept the MVP treatment. However, I quickly called an audible, because the coupon was for a free cut and MVP special for new recruits. I graciously accepted her offer. The ref waved me to the back where I sat in a dark lounge and proceeded to get massaged, washed and blowed. I didn't know know what to expect, but when walking out in the 2nd half I felt like I had been cheating on my wife. I came out of that room with the cheesiest grin, while spectators (mainly my wife) eyed me down disappointedly as if I caused a 30 minute rain delay. We got to the register and the ref hits me with a $70 penalty. What she didn't know was I had a trick up my sleeve. With 10 seconds left on the clock, I pulled out my coupon and placed it on the counter and said, "I have a coupon for a free haircut and MVP special." The ref looked somewhat appalled, with hand in back pocket like she were about to raise a flag. Although the cut was free, my wife was upset for leaving her waiting in the stands and not heeding her warning during halftime.
