When we arrived we were greeted and she sat my daughter right away at the first desk and began working on her nails. My two year-old had fallen asleep so I was carrying him. I went to sit on one of the chairs by the register but she offered me to sit on one of the pedicure chairs. I sat down and she then came and reclined the seat for me and turned the massage machine on. Which I thought was very nice of her! While she was working on the nails, she asked not just me but my daughter if the length was okay the shape, etc. she was very sweet and made my kiddo feel very happy and comfortable she could be there. She interacted with her/asking her about the shape/length design and chatted a bit about school, my daughter felt involved. This is the type of service some of us look for when we want to take our children for a service or a mom/daughter date. For our kiddos to feel happy and enjoy the pampering. This has been the first nail salon that has 5/5 service. From work ethic to the work she did on the nails. They came out so cute!! Everything was great from the beginning to end. The music they had playing and tv was perfect! This will be our new spot for sure! We will be commuting 35min to Xpro Nails rather than going somewhere closer to home and getting bad service. When I got home, I noticed the color was not what I had asked for, so I came back today hoping they could simply change the color. I clearly explained multiple times that I only wanted a color change because I had just gotten a full pedicure the day before. Despite this, they still made me pay for the entire pedicure again. The technician even handed me the service menu as if I needed to choose another service, when I had already explained that I only wanted the polish changed. She also pretended to cut my cuticles even though there was absolutely no need to do that since I had just received a pedicure the day before. I ended up choosing the basic pedicure, but the entire service felt extremely rushed, and the polish was left messy. What is most frustrating is that I paid for a full service yesterday, came back because the color was not what I originally requested, and was still charged for everything again today. I feel like this could have easily been handled as a simple color change instead of charging me for another full pedicure. I didn't want to write a review, but I feel like what I noticed today is the last straw…read more When I first came into the salon, I had waited 40+ minutes to officially be seated with a nail tech, and I didn't mind it TOO much because I had no plans later in the evening and they treated me with a kind 10% discount for the wait. What started to be slightly upsetting though was the nail tech telling me they are unable to do the art I wanted (simple painted flower) and suggested several stickers for me to go through uncomfortably while she's working on my hands. All throughout the prep process I felt rushed to find the sticker I wanted (obviously took time because I wasn't expecting to even have to find stickers in the first place-) and it would have been nice for them to at least help in suggesting which stickers of hers would match the best with the image I gave her, but I finally chose the stickers, and when i first sat down she had let me know she can do a try-out/test nail to test a color she suggested out of the blue because "she doesn't want me to end up with a color i don't want". When I told her the stickers I wanted once she was done with the prepping, she suddenly felt panicked, looking at the front desk several times and complained to me how i "didn't know what i wanted" (suggesting i took too long choosing) while telling me she won't do the try-out/test nail color because she doesn't have time, pointing to the front desk of literally one customer in line; telling me she has only tEN MINUTES left of her time. I was shook because I legit spent almost an hoUR sitting around and now she's complaining and ruSHING the process!! She quickly glued the stickers and put on a top coat and called it a day. I thought to myself maybe she was just new.. but today (about 2 weeks later) I noticed when my nail grew out, she had actually buffed/drilled my NATURAL nail deeper than needed when trying to make the gel x seamless with my natural nail (image attached below). I'm actually so upset by this and will never be coming back again. I was a fan of this salon chain but maybe its only good at santana row/sunnyvale areas, nOT morgan hill.
