They literally just put a plastic nail that was already shaped loaded on with glue and a purple UV light and paint it over it way overpriced for $90. They were done in 30 minutes. I do not recommend you get your nails done there. I have not tried the manicures but if this is the worst they do at that price. I will not tell any of my family and friends about going there. Aside from burning my finger really really bad with the glue that they used. I literally screamed of the pain. I went on Amazon and found their product for $20 and you can do it 20 times for $9.99. We booked a Saturday morning appointment for my cousin's 16th birthday. In total, there were 5 of us getting manis and pedis while my 3 year old daughter hung out with us. The staff was amazing and kind, Kristine helped with a warm welcome for the birthday girl, with a personalized sign & gift! She even had us sing happy birthday to her complete with a candle and muffin :) Despite us being a big group, their staff was still able to get in other customers and provide great customer service. None of us felt rushed... that paired with the lovely decor made the atmosphere a perfect place to relax. Also, all our nails turned out great! I have been going to Tammie H every three to four weeks for eyelash extensions for about a year now and love the result every single time. She is sweet and skilled and professional. Her work is amazing - I got sick a few months ago and went about six weeks between appointments, and my eye lashes still looked good. She's so gentle and it's such a relaxing experience, I've fallen asleep during appointments! I haven't tried any of the other services offered at Pure Lavender yet, but I see their clients walk out smiling with pretty nails and beautiful hair and there seems to be many regulars. went here once for a drop in pedicure and i loved the service all around! today i decided to go and get gel x (i set an appointment), i normally have my regular nail tech in morgan hill but she works only weekends and i'm not able to see her, hence why i took the chance here as i think they were amazing the first time around. i asked if i can squeeze in a gel pedi and they said yes which i appreciate them so much for! the pedi was good though the lady that did it kept filing my skin overall wasn't painful just uncomfortable. massage was great though! while she was doing that, someone was taking my old gel x off and she put my hand in acetone to soak off. well the front desk lady came around and said they'll do my gel x at the table after my toes are done. i said thats fine. 10 minutes passed by and my hand was still in the acetone and i only took it out because my fingers started burning. no one told me anything on what i should do, the nail tech helped someone else. that took about 1 hour. i sat at her chair and she had me try on nails that fit. my regular tech usually goes with nails that fit my small hands and doesn't go too wide. this set... was wide and very off. she was struggling to put gel x on and had to do it a few times, getting the glue everywhere all around her hands and mine. she had to fix a few that were crooked and she kept the middle one because she said she would file it to make it not crooked. then she tells me the color i want is empty so i change it. after she files i let her know i would like to change the color and apologize for the inconvenience, i also told her the nail was ok as far shape because she seemed stressed out already and i felt bad having to take more of her time plus she had a client waiting. fast forward, she couldn't find the magnet for the cateye effect and also before this she was showing me colors that didn't match the number i told her. she apologized and said that "things go everywhere" and i understood. when she was painting my nails she missed the sides and i also noticed my thumb wasn't filed down all the way like gel x should be and she had to fix it but it wasn't filing down. so she just painted over it. again... she had someone waiting, she looked disgruntled and i just didn't want to worry her more even though i was upset. overall it took about an hour and a half for my gel x and that's usually how long it takes for a soak off, new set and full design with my regular tech no hate on the tech, she was super sweet hence why i felt bad correcting her but management needs to do a better job. as someone who works in business this is poor management and care and candor for the customers and their workers. the first time around i was offered water/ tea, checked in on and made sure i was comfortable. this time was the complete opposite the lady at the front apologized and let me know next time to ask for certain techs but since it's my first time, how was i supposed to know? as an establishment if you know your techs don't have certain skills don't have them perform the task. thank you for giving me 10% off but i shouldn't even pay for something this bad. she did offer to fix it tomorrow but honestly i need a whole new set and now have to pay for one elsewhere. no i did not leave a tip and i will continue to drive to morgan hill for better service. this place was worth a shot but i have learned my lesson. read more

I've tried giving Pure Lavender Day Spa multiple chances, but unfortunately today confirmed this will be my last visit. I had a 12:10 PM appointment for both a manicure and pedicure and arrived early around 11:55 AM. I even told the front desk I was fine seeing another technician for one of the services because I was on a limited timeframe. By 12:06 PM, I mentioned that I couldn't wait much longer and was told the technician was "almost done" and already setting up. That turned out not to be accurate. I was sent back and ended up sitting with my feet soaking while nothing actually started until around 12:25 PM. The technician I specifically made my 12:10 manicure appointment with didn't even come to start my nails until 12:50 PM. Had I not agreed to see someone else for my pedicure, I honestly don't know what time I would have been seen. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of acknowledgment. No one apologized for the delay, and I was still charged full price. Meanwhile the manager seemed more focused on taking photos and chatting with other guests than addressing the situation. The most frustrating part is that this isn't a one-time issue. This has happened multiple times when I've come here, where appointments run far behind and you don't end up with the technician you actually booked. At that point it really makes you question why appointments are offered at all. After giving this place several chances, this will be my last visit. read more

I've been wearing acrylic nails for years, and never had them applied so haphazardly and fake looking. Do you want weirdly slanted, thick and overfilled nails? Come here. I booked a shampoo, conditioner and a blowout. As a FTM to a 4 month old, I thought it would be nice to finally get my hair done. I get there and the place is very nice. Nora washes my hair and gives a great head massage. She goes to dry my hair and just blow drys it using a diffuser and no product. I ask her if she can use styling tools and she tries but turns out she was not a stylist and only does massages. I decided to end it there. The manager, Quinn I believe, says that the blow out is only shampoo, conditioner and a blow dry. So we had different ideas of what a blow out is. Then she says that I told Nora that I did not want my hair styled, which I thought I said I did not want my hair flat ironed. There was a language barrier so maybe I did not explain myself clear enough. The stylist then comes to finish my hair. I was still hoping for a blowout if possible. No products such as heat protectants were used and she just blow dries my hair with a brush and without really sectioning it well. She straightens my hair using a flat iron. At this point, I did not want to walk out of there with my frizzy, puffy hair (I have thick, curly hair). She does use an oil at the end of the styling treatment. They still charged me the full price for the blowout that I did not receive and then $10 extra for using the flat iron. Quinn also said that the stylist used products other than the oil but I watched the entire process and did not see or feel and products being used. It was not what I wanted or hoped to get and super bummed that my first time actually getting to do some self care turned out like this. I would not recommend going there to get your hair done. read more

I went back again for an appointment and was told when I called that Tammy my regular was unavailable and so she asked if I could schedule with someone else, I said sure. I arrive and the tech looks at my previous nails and thinks i wanted designs again and said she couldn't do that, went off and tried to find someone else to do my nails. I got passed off onto someone else and I think because I was not a planned appointment for her, she rushed my nails because she had another appointment shortly after me. She did everything very quickly and seeming rushed to finish asap, some nails weren't exactly the same length and some shapes I had to ask to be fixed. She only did one coat of polish and forgot to do chrome on one of my nails and I didn't notice until afterward I had left. She just seemed rushed and my nail quality definitely did not meet the amount I paid. Shorty after I was finished she had jumped right into another appointment and overheard her apologizing for being late, therefore I knew that she was doing my nails in a rush before her next appointment.
