Went in for a pedicure and the lady was cleaning the tools and skin from the person before me in front of me. Also reused the toe separator which I don't believe is hygienic. My "massage" was the bare minimum and so was the scrubbing and everything included in the pedicure. I will say I got the basic one but regardless there's a level of work involved. someone being able to save enough money to get something for self care and going into these establishments is expecting a good treatment for the money they are spending.. I'm not a confrontational person so I payed and went about my day. However anyone new coming here please be aware that not all technicians work the same and provide the same treatment. This specific day was not my lucky day. -what could improve? Cleaning and sanitizing the tools before the next guest. Buying a bulk of separators. I called around 12:45pm in hope to get a same day appointment for my 10 year old daughter for gel X nails, the person I spoke to was supper kind. We were able to get in at 2pm. When we arrived we were greeted and she sat my daughter right away at the first desk and began working on her nails. My two year-old had fallen asleep so I was carrying him. I went to sit on one of the chairs by the register but she offered me to sit on one of the pedicure chairs. I sat down and she then came and reclined the seat for me and turned the massage machine on. Which I thought was very nice of her! While she was working on the nails, she asked not just me but my daughter if the length was okay the shape, etc. she was very sweet and made my kiddo feel very happy and comfortable she could be there. She interacted with her/asking her about the shape/length design and chatted a bit about school, my daughter felt involved. This is the type of service some of us look for when we want to take our children for a service or a mom/daughter date. For our kiddos to feel happy and enjoy the pampering. This has been the first nail salon that has 5/5 service. From work ethic to the work she did on the nails. They came out so cute!! Everything was great from the beginning to end. The music they had playing and tv was perfect! This will be our new spot for sure! We will be commuting 35min to Xpro Nails rather than going somewhere closer to home and getting bad service. They offer complimentary mocktails super cute and tasty I chose the strawberry lemonade it was garnished with dried fruit and tajin very estética. I paid $15 extra to get my heels smooth which they weren't that bad. I got the same pedicure as a lady next to me. She paid the minimum so there was no difference just more money I paid. It was so rushed even the paraffin was like one minute if that. The owner seemed to bothered with everything that I asked she would not let me finish my sentences. I was constantly interrupting me. I did not recommend this place at all. The place looks very dirty. Feels very dirty. Customer service sucks.! It's upsetting to have to do this because I've been coming here since I moved to gilroy 6 years ago, but this is already the 2nd time this has happened to me at this salon. I called the day before Christmas Eve and asked if they had time for a gel pedicure. They said yes to come in. I go in & I get the lady who I usually get and she's attending to me. At this time it's about 6pm. The manager takes over at around 6:25 and starts doing my pedicure. She starts trying to take my ingrown nails out (which don't even hurt or I'm not sure were even there to begin with). Everything is fine until she cuts me on both toes and they start to bleed. I'm like it's okay no worries when she apologizes and proceeds to put a powder to dry the blood. Next day, Christmas Eve I wake up in a lot of pain on my toe. I can barely walk or put pressure on that foot because of the severe swelling and puss coming out of my toe. It's so uncomfortable and unfortunate because it's a holiday and I'm in so much pain. I text the manager and send her a photo and she tells me she told me it was going to hurt and to run warm water on it. That's it. No accountability what so ever or no offer for her to make it right. I spent $80 on this pedicure and it's extremely swollen and puss coming out FOR WEEKS. The right one was worse than my left toe but they were both equally infected. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because when one of my toes first got infected here, I let the manager know & she mentioned it was a new girl they were trying out. Don't get me wrong the staff is extremely welcoming and nice but if you want top service or no infected toes I would suggest going elsewhere. I would like to mention, every time I've been here they never sanitize the tools that they use and they use it on the next person. Usually salons have the blue plastic bags with tools when they've been cleaned and you see them opening it on you but not this salon. Be careful! Graphic photos below. read more

Honestly, pricing on menu is good but there's hidden fees. The part that bothered me is that I asked for a specific design, showed the design prior to sitting in my chair, were half way through my nails, to be told we cannot do the design pick something else. Had you told me that I would have gone elsewhere. My cuticles weren't removed and the paint job was a bit sloppy. The vibe is just off too it's not friendly. The soothing coffee & milk soak, detailed callus removal, nail shaping, cuticle care, and the espresso sugar scrub all felt so high-quality and intentional. The coffee butter mask and collagen-infused socks made the whole experience feel deeply hydrating and premium. To top it off, they even served me a Vietnamese coffee, which made the whole treatment feel extra special, authentic, and thoughtful. The massage was heavenly -- slow, relaxing, and not rushed at all. I could feel they really cared about giving a calming experience. My toes came out perfect in the milky white color, clean, smooth, and flawless. The salon is spotless, peaceful, and the staff is extremely warm and professional. By far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I was the first customer to arrive and was immediately given a dirty look by one of the staff members, but I still decided to continue with my service. Another customer arrived at the same time as me and received a full set of acrylic nails, yet she finished before I did. All I requested was the removal of my acrylics and regular nail polish. The technician assigned to me repeatedly left me unattended to go eat and seemed visibly annoyed that I chose regular polish instead of gel. She did not properly layer the polish and rushed through the service. I was told that regular polish takes longer to dry and that I should have chosen gel instead. Despite paying $45, my nails never fully dried. By the time I left, they were clumpy, smudged, and ruined. I asked multiple times for assistance or a solution, but no one helped or attempted to fix the issue. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disappointing. Absolutely loved the new matcha tea pedicure and manicure which includes really deluxe treatment of care including a neck and shoulder massage (I recommend wearing a peasant style blouse or a tube top so they can access the the area easily while you are sitting). I was offered a complimentary iced Vietnamese tea which was absolutely delish. A little pricey but totally worth it to book a deluxe spa treatment at a local manicure spot. Two people walk in after me and they stop my service, tell me to wait 10 minutes, then started the other customers. Which I don't understand how that is because I get a pedicure with non-gel nails and my nails polish last a long time don't make sense will not be going back. and these were done on this past Friday and it started 2 days later . I honestly had such an amazing experience at Xpro nails today (08/17/24). I called around noon to see if they do GelX (which, they do!) and if I could come in at 1pm. I got to the shop and they got to work with me right away. They went over the nail type that I was interested in and the style (almond shape with cat eye pink nails & a white bow on one of my fingers). Took less than an hour and I'm blown away! They look amazing and I've gotten so many compliments! The price was really good too, only came out to $75 (before tip) which was suca steal to me as so many other nail salons were asking for $90+. Nail quality is bad, missing paint on the edges, lumpy layers of nails policy, uneven French tips.
