There are at least seven Chinese restaurants within five minutes of my home, yet none compare to L & T. I would honestly drive anywhere for this food! You can tell how much pride they take in what they do. Everything is incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. They truly go the extra mile to make every dish just right. Even the fried food is never greasy. And the customer service is phenomenal. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure you have a great experience. If you like spicy food, try the Mongolian sauce--it's fantastic. The Moo Shu Chicken is outstanding, and the steamed chicken with mixed vegetables is fresh, delicious, and can be prepared with whatever sauce you choose. L & T is more than just great Chinese food. Bad experience here. I stopped randomly while out of town. The service was fast however I received the wrong order. When I got back to my hotel and called I was told by the lady on the phone to come back and they will fix it. I was not interested in getting back on the highway and asked for the correct order to be delivered. My food was delivered to the wrong hotel. It took 1 hour and 40mins to receive my food from a restaurant that was 10mins away. When I finally received my food at nearly 10pm it was horrible. The fried food was soggy and wet from being tied up in a bag for so long and the chicken and broccoli had a odd taste. After $17 and 2+ hours later I went to bed hungry and annoyed. This has been a staple of mine for many, many years, and although not every dish is to my liking, I have never had a bad experience with the taste of the food. Their won ton soup noodles are dense and not tasty (to me) so I avoid their soup, and I don't particularly care for their egg rolls, so I avoid them too. The ribs are to die for (when not completely dried out, which HAS happened) but most of the traditional dishes are perfectly fine.....did I say "best fried rice ever?" I have eaten this food at the very least, 30 times, and I will continue to patronize them. Many reviewers complained about the workers who answer the phone, stating that they are nasty. Literally the best fast food chinese you will have!! The Lo Mein, pork fried rice, wings, shrimp rolls, or whatever you order will be fresh and delicious. I am sorely disappointed with my last experience at this place. I am a longtime customer. I live locally and have been having take-out delivered for maybe better than fifteen years. The service has always been prompt and courteous. Once recently, a phone order which was to be delivered in 20 minutes came an hour and 15 minutes late. I figured they were busy and they had a great track record, so I didn't complain that time. However, last night, I phoned in an order at 7:05p. I asked how long and was told it would be 35 minutes. After an hour, I tried to call back to get a delivery status. No one was picking up the phone. It went to voicemail, repeatedly. At that point, I was ready to cancel it, as it was a work night and I was ready for sleep. I finally got through to a worker at an hour and a half after the order was made. The woman yessed me and said "oh, he just left". Thinking it was my usual delivery man, I let it go. Fifteen more minutes went by. I live just a mile from the place. A different delivery man handed me a bag. I paid and tipped him and brought it inside. It was 90 minutes after I phoned it in. When I got to the kitchen, I discovered he had given me someone else's order. It was completely different food. I called back immediately and again, no one was picking up the phone. Then, I received a call from the Chinese place telling me the driver knows he gave the wrong order and was outside to hand me the correct one. I went to the door, in the rain and cold, and saw him parked several houses up the street. I was standing there with the wrong bag of food for quite some time, getting wet and freezing. I went back in the house. Then, he was pounding on my door. He had the nerve to ask me if all the food was in the bag. I exchanged bags and went to the kitchen for a second time, only to discover that they sent the wrong beverages. I called back again and the same woman was less than apologetic. At this point, it was two hours after I had ordered. I was disgusted and tired of being hungry. The food was ice cold. It tasted bad and gave me indigestion. After all that, I didn't eat it. I went to bed hungry. I called back today to request a refund. The same woman said she remembered me and started to yell. I insisted on a refund. She wanted to know if I had all the original food to return. What were they going to do? Resell it? I assured her she could have the unopened portions back. She said she would send her daughter tonight to bring me the refund and retrieve the food. I told her what time I would be home. No one came at the agreed upon time. I called AGAIN. This is over a dozen calls concerning the same order by now. I have never seen a restaurant screw up so badly and care so little for a regular customer. She tried to brush me off, changed the story to her manager would call, and had the gall to hang up. I called back again. She then abruptly said she was sending someone out with my refund now. That was a half hour ago. This is appalling behavior by management. If this is how they treat long time customers, new people don't have a prayer. I paid the guy $26 at the door. It wasn't worth the aggravation. I will never go back there again. Shame on them. read more

This is by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had . I'm a huge Chinese food fan ( takeout and sit down ) but this place is terrible . I ordered from here on multiple occasions and it seems to get worse every single time . I'm not a picky eater at all and I'm honest . I ordered chicken and broccoli rib tips French fries fried rice egg rolls spring rolls and what not and none of it was good. The broccoli wasn't cooked right and when I asked for extra sauce they wanted to charge me for it . The fried rice looked more like Spanish rice and the Fried goodies almost gave me a clogged artery. There was a roach in my soup never coming back here again I have been coming here for years until this occurred my family and I walked out

Food is very good! BUT...service is NOT! I ask for extra condiments and an extra plate and the lady behind the counter scowls at me; then pads the bill & rounds the tax UP all the while NOT giving me a receipt. I figure out the total on my own; and question it & she gets angry & tosses a nickel or dime back on the counter! Doesn't ring up sale either; what do you think is going on here?
