If you've ever…read moreread any of my reviews, you know dessert is my favorite, so facing a birthday without being able to have cake or cookies as a result of needing to avoid dairy and wheat was daunting to say the least. Enter Chubby Bunny, a bakery catering to those with food challenges. What I love about this place is that they aren't just trying to make a version of something you've already had that might taste sort of like it, they're creating their own deliciousness and unique recipes that hold their own against any sweet I've had. The store itself is quaint and cute in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Inside, I was met with SO many options of things to try. I settled on a strawberry frosted chocolate brownie (incredibly decadent and the icing is so creamy and just sweet enough without being overly so), iced sugar cookie (dense and shortbread like, just the way I like it) and a salted chocolate chip cookie (probably my least favorite, but still a quality cookie). The staff is very friendly and eager to explain anything you need to know about ingredients or potential allergens. They also make custom cakes and cookies!

Looking at their display of baked goods was mouthwatering. I decided on the chocolate raspberry cupcake. The chocolate cupcake was very rich, decadent, and moist. I was surprised by the hint of raspberry filling on the inside but taking a bite and getting a taste of the chocolate cupcake, icing, and raspberry on top all at once was well blended and a definite treat for my senses. I would not have guessed it was vegan. My son picked the chocolate chip cookie and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich. He said he enjoyed both. I will be back to try other delectable treats.

They are located on the back side of the Bridgewater Falls shopping area. Inside is modern and minimalist, but clean and welcoming. Menu in chalk on the walls, plenty of seating inside, I don't believe there are any seats outside, or maybe just the time of year being cold. The girl behind the counter was very nice and made my drink perfectly. I got their standard milk tea with black teas as the base and with boba of course. The tea itself was sweet, not overly sweet though and the boba's were excellent. Soft, sweet with a hint of honey. The Boba can make or break a boba shop. Living in Los Angeles, there are so many places to choose from, but not all are good, sometimes the boba is off. Milk Jar does the drink perfect as well as the Boba, so I was really happy to find a great spot in Ohio to get boba whenever I come to visit Family. I would recommend you trying them out for their drinks and boba. They also have rolled ice cream and shaved ice, both of which I did not try but looked very good. Enjoy!

They have a great variety of drinks, rolled ice cream, and cereal bowls to choose from. They do offer samples of their teas for you to try. That was nice and it really helped make the decision what to get. The price of the drinks were comparable to other places. The drinks we ordered tasted really good and refreshing. We didn't care for their joke of the day when we were in there. Overall, it's a good place to get boba tea and other refreshing tea or fruit drinks. Maybe one day we will try their rolled ice cream....it sounded good.

The food was excellent, but the Square Potatoes served with beer cheese were the standout for us--we're still talking about them! The menu has plenty of options, and of course, you can pair your meal with one of Fretboard's craft beers. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Be sure to check out the rooftop space, which adds another fun element to the restaurant. Great food, great beer, friendly service, and a fantastic atmosphere made Fretboard a memorable part of our Hamilton getaway. We would definitely return!

Services was pretty basic but our waitress was nice. We placed our food and drink order and everything came out quickly. The tomato basil pizza was great and the fries were delicious. One other note was my soda was warm and had all these white spots inside the glass that were crunchy when running my straw along it...decided to skip the rest of the beverage after I discovered that

We had to ask for the milk shake as it was not prepared with the test of the order. We told them of the error that we ordered a pulled pork sandwich not plain nachos. It was corrected and they gave us a free cone card. We ordered two inside out drumstick sundaes, amazing idea, with vanilla and chocolate swirl, there was only vanilla. We did not make them change those. The nachos and pulled pork sandwich were like something like you would get at a high school concession stand, nothing special. The sundaes were delicious in spite of the errors. I may come back for a frozen treat but not for food. Great variety and interesting options of frozen treats. It's a great atmosphere to enjoy a cone or sundae outside and stick around for a game of cornhole or watch the kids play. I, unfortunately did not have the time to stick around to enjoy any activities, so it was a quick stop and go. I ordered a turtle sundae to go. It was a large portion size - I mean really large! Plenty of caramel and chocolate covered with its and whipped cream. It was yummy. The ice cream (a soft serve) reminded me a little bit of ice milk. It seemed a little lighter version of the typical soft serve. The to-go sundae was served with a re-sealable lid which was a good idea- as this treat lasted more than one serving!
