I've been to this salon twice before today and had decent experiences. Lina, j will say, is very talented and great at her job. I didn't get the name of the woman who did my nails today but good gravy did she do a bad job. I came in with one broken nail and looking for a refill. The woman I got seemed to have no idea what she was doing. What should have taken about an hour ended up being 2 hours. I had to get to work but I was trying to be patient. Anyone who takes that kind of time must be doing a good job. What I got was streaky, thick, uneven nails that weren't even the shape I wanted (I came in with coffin nails but she didn't ask if I wanted to keep them coffin or change the shape, she also did a half ass attempt at coffin and I ended up with half coffin/half square nails) I paid for them because I had to get to work and didn't have time to express how unhappy I was with this dreadful manicure but I will never go back. I now have to go get my nails done again and pay someone else to fix what this technician did to my nails. read more

The worst place ever! Uneven haircut and the mani/pedi could have been done better by a five year old! The Manager was useless. He gave me the phone number and email to the "head office". Left messages and nothing. Contacted the manager again and he just said there was nothing he could go except for call the head office and try. He didn't even get a call back - apparently. Overpriced and terrible service. I am from out of town and in the City for work. I needed a gel fill. The gel fill cost $67.80. This is almost double in comparison to where I am from. The person who did my nails was rude throughout my entire service. Some examples include getting noticeably frustrated on multiple occasions and making comments whenever my hands weren't relaxed and not giving me the opportunity to put my hand back in the dryer when I took it out by accident. I don't mind being asked to do things differently however it isn't what you say it's how you say it. I have been getting my nails done consistently for over three years and have never been treated the way I was here. If you are a skilled enough nail technician you should be able to complete your work without making your customer feel negative. Being in customer service your skills in regard to how you speak to people and how you make them feel should also be enhanced. In addition to the terrible customer service, my nails look terrible as they were filed uneven and some painted tips are thicker than others. My nails also started to chip between 12-24 hours. Please see photos for proof. To top it all off it appears the staff themselves do not get along. The person who was completing the waxing didn't have the decency to shut the door which kept the noise down from the hair salon. When asked by her fellow colleague to shut the door she ignored her and started her work. That employee then left the salon/spa and also left the door open to prove a point. This is the worst salon in the history of salons I went in with long hair and I got the junior stylists that was supposed to be for 45 dollars. Oh well she did not even wash my hair she just cut it and blowdried it and she was very rude and not nice at all she was speaking to me with an attitude and when I asked her if styling was included she took a minute to think and said since my hair is thick it would be extra even though on the website it claims that wash cut and styling is included and guess what I was charged +60 dollars the most ridiculous and worst salon ever . I made a dash here because I was in the area. After letting my eyebrows hit sasquatch status, I needed some desperate help. With abandon, I requested eyebrow threading. I should have asked how much it cost, but I'm going to repeat that I needed this. I was sent in with Jenny who is a really sweet lady. I explained what I wanted and she started to work. She kept up a pleasant conversation and the place was clean. However, she did an average job. When I went to the register, I was told it came to $16. I've been here 4 times now and my stylist Paulo is great. At least I'm always happy with the Color and highlights ! The place is alway buzzing busy. From what I see from other stylists the colors/cuts are very nice. Large place with about 20 stations plus a large aesthetics area at the back of the salon. I went in for a trim with a friend who previously had a good experience with the salon. I normally go to Room1Six but I wanted to be open-minded. The stylist I worked with was friendly but that didn't distract me from how dirty and messy the salon and tools were. The sinks had several used towels piled on them, the brushes and combs had tons of who knows how many peoples' hair tangled in them, and the dust in some areas was thick. The service itself was super rushed - I was in and out within 20 minutes flat. The shampoo and conditioner weren't washed out of my hair thoroughly and the scalp massage (usually my favourite part) was mostly concentrated on one side of my head. The cutting process felt like I blinked and all of a sudden, it was onto the blow dry. No styling products were applied to my hair prior to the blow dry which resulted in no volume. I was also whipped with my own hair a few times and there was a point where a chunk of wet hair sat on my forehead as water dripped - it was only when I began to move the hair that the stylist noticed. No finesse. I felt like I was in an assembly line. I didn't feel remotely pampered or like my hair was being handled by a professional, which is what I'm accustomed to at Room1Six regardless of the stylist's level of experience. First and last time at this salon. Don't waste your time and money. read more

Worst makeup I've ever received my whole life. The makeup artist's tools looked dirty and brown (you can tell he caked it on and didn't wash the brushes). Eyebrows were uneven, I left crying because I looked so ridiculous and they refused me a receipt. Never going back or ever recommending anybody else here. For reference, the makeup artist was also a hair dresser who has scissors tattooed near his forearms, he's from Turkey or so I believe... Absolute waste of $70 read more

This is the worst salon experience I've ever had. My biggest advice here is listen to Yelp - this place has bad reviews for a reason. Sure there are some good experiences but if you don't want your simple haircut to go wrong, don't go here. I went to get my hair cut to 14 inches but instead, I have above shoulder length hair with the weirdest, most choppy layers. Shumna took me in the back room where they wash hair and started shopping my hair without the mirror. My front layers look horrible and will most likely take a year to grow to a length where they don't look odd. The worst. The service that I received was incredibly rude and disrespectful. My preferences were not considered and I was asked to pay before my colour job was even completed. I specifically contacted the manager to describe how unhappy I was with the services and asked for him to call me back to resolve the issue. I did not want to speak with the stylist as I felt that there was a clear lack of communication. However, I was contacted from the personal phone of the stylist. This is not in line with Canadian Privacy Statuses. I did not consent to the sharing of my personal phone number with the stylist. My right to privacy was violated. When I came into the salon to talk to the manager, I was escorted to the back of the salon in a corner away from everyone else. The stylist that I was complaining against then came to talk to me instead of the manager. When I tried to explain that I felt my hair looked green and not what we had agreed upon, she told me that the colour job that I received was exactly what I asked for. When I told her that I was still unhappy, she ignored me and kept telling me how good it looked. I left at that point as I felt like I was being bullied. Today I was finally able to speak to the manager in person. I asked for a refund since I have zero intention of ever coming back here. However, the manager said the best they could do was give me a gift card as they have a "no refund policy". I declined the gift card as this policy was never communicated to me. I asked what policies were put in place to protect clients during the complaint process, but the manager told me that there was no information he could provide me for that. This was the worst shellac manicure I have ever had in my life. There's no words to describe the traumatizing experience I had with Claudia at this salon. First she didn't do any of the hand soaking or moisturizing or even cutting the nails! She cleaned the cuticles of one hand and left the other. Then she filled down the nails completely uneven. All my nails are a different length now, and the shape is close to a triangle. I don't know who in the right mind would be ok with leaving that. She also didn't apply the shellac properly at all, it's streaky, globy and looks like shit. Then she doesn't even let it dry properly, wipes it with cotton balls leaving fluff all over my still when nails. THEN she proceeds to paint OVER the fluff with the top coat and it's just a disaster, how she wasn't noticing this is just unbelievable. She was also shaking the whole time and kept asking me to not move my hand even though she was the one with next level shakes. I'm unsure what substances she was on but get those off the market. If you think about coming here I suggest you put your hand in a wood chipper, and then throw 50$ into a fire. If you like the results of that, then you'll love this salon. read more

I rate this place based on professionalism at the reception desk and attitude from couple of hair stylists (ladies). I walked in one day to find out prices for a simple haircut and the receptionist seemed to be very distracted and unfriendly. At the end she told me to sit down and wait for someone to come and get me. I sat down next to three girls who were all dressed up in mini skirts and long boots, gossiping in other language. They looked at me head to toe with what looked like a snobbish look and continued chatting. The receptionist came up to these girls and informed them about the customer (myself). They all looked at me again, and without saying "hello" or anything, stood up and started whispering to each other. Looked like they were deciding who is going to cut my hair because one of the girls came up to me and asked what I wanted to do (the other girls were standing by her side and staring at me). It felt pretty uncomfortable and weird (at least based on what I had experienced at other salons before), so I told the girl that I have changed my mind, and left. I do not want any of these girls to touch my hair, or get my money. I was happy to find another salon just around the corner, where they treated me very friendly and I received good customer service. read more

My regular hairstylist works here and I've been faithful to her for years as she really knows my hair and does an amazing job. My problem with L'Attitudes is the unprofessional attitude of some of the staff. It's really annoying to have to listen to the super loud conversations of some of the people "working" there who are engaged in doing NOTHING. At any given time there seem to be several immature staff horsing around, and talking about things that are so rude and obnoxious and worst of all, derogatory to other clients who have just left and making a mockery of the salon. They are also super awful and catty to one another. I just don't like hearing this when I come in for services. For the prices I pay to have my hair done here, I expect a little more maturity and professionalism. I went here last week to cut my hair and wax my full arms. I recommend Megan for haircut. She's very sweet to me and she have gentle hands as a hair stylist. She doesn't pull my hair, she brushes my hair as if it's a delicate thing. It makes me feel relax. I asked for v-shape and slightly layered and she did a very great job esoecially when she did my side fringe. I had Vini for my arm wax. The problem is that when she did my arm speed waxing there are a lot of wax left in my arms that I had to asked her to take it off. I also saw some patches of hair so she had to wax it off again. Tip: She's a nice lady just make sure to check your body before you leave the waxing room and if there are hairs let her know and she'll fix it. I don't think she's meticulous when it comes to waxing clients but she doesn't mind waxing it again. She seems in a rush to meet new clients. Also she didn't wash her hands before procedure. I'm not satisfied with the arm waxing, I'm not going back to get my arms wax here. But I'll definitely come back because of Megan. It's better to make an appointment, most of the times the people that work at the front (receptionists) can be very feisty and they lack customer service skills. There are times that they are in a good mood except when it gets busy. Edit: I went here yesterday: Be aware of Kim. She is a Korean lady, a senior hairstylist and she is very good in ripping customers because she is an expert with sales talk. I was charged for $98.75 after tax because no one told me that she is a senior hairstylist. I didn't give her a tip because I felt like I was ripped off and her techniques are just the same as any regular hairstylist. The only difference is that she put more time and effort in shampooing my hair and blow drying my hair. I am not going back. I made up my mind. I'm done with this salon. To be honest I think 80% of the people working here are junior stylist... I recently came for some mother daughter time. My hair wasn't bad... Except when I asked for it curled I kinda expect them to use a blow dryer not the flat iron. Then get told I can re-wet your hair and curl it with the dryer. Not really my idea of service. I had to pry the name of of the girl that worked on my hair. My mom's experience was very poor, I know she can be picky vocal about it, but based on her treatment and service, I wouldn't recommend this salon :( read more

For many years I have been going to see Marina for regular and shelac manicures, pedicures and waxing. Marina has always done a great job, and is very focused on quality. Unlike it's sister salon in the mall (Nino D'Arena) L'Attitudes has a seperate esthetics area that is a litle quieter and spa like (which is nice - but i also enjoy the activity at Nino) The real benefit is there is a one to one ratio of rooms to estheticians - so no conflict if you decide at the last minute to get a wax read more

I was actually a fan of this place until this year. I had been going there every six months since 3 years ago for hair cuts. I was seeing Shumna, who is a senior hair stylist there. She does a great job with your hair...however, the more I went there, the more I didn't like it. She hurt my head a lot with the brush, with the hair dryer. I'd say she's pretty rough with her hands. ..and the more I went back, the more I was paying. The first time I saw her, I paid $60, then it went up. Last time I paid $80 (for the same service!) It's so conflicting...It's hard to find a stylist that can work my hair, but I don't want to be treated badly! It's also pretty far from my house. read more

So i've been meaning to write this since Dec. 5th 2013 since I visited the salon. My haircut was with June Choi, she was fantastic. Although she was a bit pushy about their promotions at first she quickly understood that I was not interested in anything but a haircut and made my hair pretty. My mom on the other hand had this spanish guy who the manager told me was great with curly hair after having requested a hair dresser with these skills. After she was done she was not pleased in the least and wanted to cry. I urged her to ask him to fix it which he said he would but we waited an additional 15 minutes and then he just passed her on to another hair dresser. The second guy tried to no avail, her hair was from the 70's with choppy uneven layers. We left disappointed and having paid $163.85 no less. I would not reccomend this place as when they fuck up they don't fix it and when they try to they seemed annoyed to do so. You have been warned! read more

The customer service here is horrible !! No smile, no welcome, nothing.....I knew the reviews were bad but I just wanted to see for myself. I'm surprised people still go there!! So I initially wanted a new color, but when I got there, I changed my mind and decided to just do a root touch up. So the stylist I got was ok although he never introduced himself. I went in today to get my eyebrows waxed-- I needed something quick before my shift began (I work in the area) so I decided to brave the Eaton Centre and pop in. I was waved into the back by an esthetician who barely even said hello to me. She lead me towards one of the back rooms and opened a door, only to find that it was occupied. Then, she sat me down in one of the chairs used for estheticians to work on manicures and told me to wait. While I waited, she checked each room with a closed door and even ASKED the clients in the occupied rooms if it was okay if she waxed my brows in there-- it was awkward. While this is going on, no one seems to be getting manicures, but the room is occupied by staff who are lounging around and chatting/having coffee. I felt like I was in a break room. Finally, I get into a room and she works on my brows, all the while telling me that my hair is in awful shape and needs a cut and colour, and while I'm at it, I should probably get a facial. It was really, really rude. She did a pretty standard job on my brows, but I definitely didn't tip. read more

I always ask for Hannah, she is exceptional. she is attentive, she is careful, and every cut and colour I have received from her has been nothing but absolutely excellent. She gives the most amazing head massages when she washes your hair, and she really seems to care about the way your hair turns out when she is done. all in all, I think it is worth your time and money, just ask for Hannah. read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a hairdressers! I'm writing this review as a warning to others. This is the worst haircut and colour I've ever had, I was in tears once left the salon. The hairdresser didn't set a timer for my foils, and then precedes to use the wrong toner on my hair, not once but twice, so by the third shampoo and toner my hair was matted and brittle! If this isn't bad enough, I had asked for a basic blunt cut, long bob; now to achive this she proceeded to blowdry my hair dry and then proceeded cut it with electric clippers and a comb! I had to stop her halfway through because it was so uneven and I had now been at the salon for 4.5hrs. I payed over $100 for a nonexistent haircut and damaged hair. This salon is horrible! read more

Overpriced mani-pedi that wasn't even nice. I went in while my partner was getting his eye exam and I had a lot of time to kill. Regular mani-pedi (no shellac, no bells or whistles) was $55 + tax/tip. Ridiculous price, but I guess you're paying for the convenience of the Eaton Centre. Pedicure chairs are uncomfortable vinyl benches. No massage chairs here, and at that price, they should have something so standard. Foot bath was filthy with other people's hair. I had them drain the water and refill it for me cause it was NASTY, and I got some sass from the staff. One person gave me my pedicure, and another rushed over to do my manicure so I had to contort myself into a really uncomfortable position so they could do a rush job. I got chastised by the staff for having short fingernails. Not bitten fingernails, just short. The person doing the manicure had poor eyesight and kept complaining that she couldn't see clearly enough to make sure the nail polish was on properly. It wasn't - I had to touch it up when I got home. At the cash they wanted to charge me separately for the manicure and pedicure because 2 different people did it. I didn't ask for that, they forced it on me. Next time I'll ask a four year old to paint my nails. It will look about the same. read more

Not even exaggerating when I say I've never been to a shittier hair salon. If you need more reasons not to come here, this is your warning sign. Scum hairdressers here to cheat you of your money. Literally the worst $79 dollars I've ever spent on the shittiest haircut on earth. I've been here once before and had my hair cut my the "junior" hairdresser who offered a cheaper price and a MUCH better haircut, so I thought I'd come back again. First, when I got my hair washed, the woman kept banging my head on the sink. She had water splashing on my face the entire time, and had me sit in such an awkward position that my head was straining. She lifted my head by my hair, so I basically had to flex my neck which made it so uncomfortable. She also did not know how to wrap my hair in a towel. Her pathetic attempt ended up with her slipping the wet towel under my robe and letting me go. I've always enjoyed having my hair washed by a professional but like I said, literally never had a worse hair washing experience. While getting my hair cut by another woman, you could tell she didn't give a shit. My hair wasn't even in a straight part, okay. The haircut was decent BUT- as she was styling my hair with a flat iron, she literally was straightening my hair by grabbing a bundle without combing it through beforehand. ALSO while she was cutting my hair, she was gossiping with a coworker about how she fucked up on someone else's haircut and laughing about it. Hope this business closes down soon. read more

The stylist sounded confident in toning my roots and lightening my hair with a balayage. She ended up making my roots extremely bronzy, balayage was awful, and she burned my scalp. I've been here before and was satisfied with the service, but after this experience I'll never return. My stylist (supposedly a senior stylist) was working with multiple clients and kept leaving me to chat with incoming customers-she was CLEARLY overwhelmed, which is probably why my hair is now badly damaged. I went for a laser hair removal treatment since they were advertising $300 for full body. It was my first time getting a laser hair removal treatment so I did not know what to expect. The woman preforming it really sold me on the idea so I decided to go for it. She mentioned nothing regarding the possibility of burning. During the procedure I was in quite a bit of pain and I told her so, she said that she couldn't lower the device because then it would not work on my skin. We had already strated so I continued and accepted the pain not knowing if that was normal. I got home one hour after the procedure and my entire arms and legs were burnt, you can see the rectangular shape of the device imprinted on my skin. I was optimistic that the burns would heal and not cause any other damage. But 5 days later I noticed no change in the appearance of the scars so I went back to the salon and told a woman working the reception what had happened and I showed her my scars, she said it should go away in 1 week and gave me a jar of aloe Vera gel to put on it. Today, 10 days after the procedure, still no improvement. I consulted with a electrolysis and who told me that I need to do a fraxel procedure costing $6000 to get rid of these scars. The machine used is not even a laser but rather a cheaper device that shouldn't have been any where near my pigmented skin. It boggles me that she didn't see my skin burning as she was doing it, just a mess, as I can see ever single imprint on my skin. I am disgusted with the things people will do for a few dollars, she let me know that she would make a commission. Being a model i'm going to be losing quite a bit of income due to this, my skin is entirely ruined, and I hope this doesn't happen to any one else. Currently contemplating a law suit, I'm 100% sure I have grounds, but must do my research before proceeding. If you are an idiot and unqualified for something don't do it! read more

I have to agree with comments about the front desk staff. There are always way to many of them socialising around the front doing absolutely nothing. In fact I walked up yesterday and had to interrupt one who was on her phone reviewing Facebook. The Salon is filthy... With a capital F. It is truly very very dirty. Layers upon layers of hair and dirt. Not a single station is clean they're empty dirty glass stations. Drawers filled with hair, literally there is hair everywhere. The girls occasionally do go by with a broom and sweep the large bits behind chairs but no real cleaning ever happens. For these prices clean is the least we should expect. Hair brushes are always filled with hair I personally find this repulsive. Again....dirty!!! Kim is an amazing stylist which is the only reason I return every few weeks. She is the best stylist I've ever had and I'm 40 with long hair so I've been through more than a few. She could easily run her own salon. As for her being pushy on sales. I guess that's how you take it. I don't find it pushy at all in fact I asked for an expensive service and she explained in detail why I shouldn't do it with my hair type. I like being offered services where relevant and hers are relevant. Saying no is not a crime and neither is talking about new products and services. I take this as passionate about hair not pushy. I don't find Kim pushy at all. Again my hair has been transformed by Kim. I second comments about Kathy she is a complete professional and she regularly does my mani's. Walked in and asked if they were available and had time to trim just my undercut for me, which they agreed to and i was sitting in the chair within 10 mins. They cut my hair for me and from the front it looked good so I said I was happy, paid and left. Not till I got home and looked at it did I realize the girl shaved off a chunk of my long hair and totally messed it up and it was incredibly uneven and looked terrible. Upset I paid for that and that I tipped the girl. Maybe other hair dressers there are better but I definitely will never go back and would never recommend. read more

The rating for the entire store itself would be a 1/5. The rating for my following stylist that fixed my hair in the salon, Victoria is phenomenal, she deserves a 5/5. Before stepping into this salon, I quickly looked on their Instagram, and found George on there. His pictures on Instagram were nice, so I decided to book him, but trust me it was the worse decision ever. When I went in for my appointment, I asked for a balayage, to begin, he didn't even really understand me, and didn't even really care about what I wanted, and just wanted to do what he wanted. How he first dyed my hair was he dyed my hair roots, he just basically painted it on top and covered up my existing top balayage, I was confused and I tried to explain saying I want my blonde higher, he said okay okay. He then removed the black off my head and painted it with a different colour doing again the same thing but this time I trusted him. When my roots were done it was a brown orange but I didn't complain because I thought he would do something else. Later on, and to mention, I have gotten my hair done plenty of times, I've seen how balayage works, when he was adding the blonde in my hair, it created NO dimension, just plain blonde which I could do it myself. The worse part was when he finished dying it, yes it was pretty ashy and platinum but he had no consideration on the health of my hair and just wanted to reach the colour as light as possible in 3 HOURS!!!! A lot of my hair started breaking apart really easily. My hair looked horrible it wasn't even a ombré I'd say it was brown orange on top unblended blonde at bottom. I called to explain my situation, super nicely, and they said it's not their fault, and that I have to pay an extra 70$ to fix my roots, and I said fine, I went to get it fixed, he just again painted my roots to make it darker, got black hair dye on my blonde and didn't even try to fix it. I myself, was being a nice customer so I paid and walked away. The following day, I felt so embarrassed to come out and that I paid twice to get it fix. It was time I had to make a complain, I called again, and said this needs to be fixed and I do not want to be charged. All stylists said they didn't want to touch George's work, but Victoria she was so sweet, she said she'll fix it. She kept trying to reassure me and told me step by step what she'll do with my hair. She offered me if I needed anything like water, coffee. She told me ways and stories on how to make my hair more thicker and healthier. She tried to suggest me what's best for my hair. Everything about her was great. Honestly she deserves to work somewhere better than here. She is a senior stylist however she should be working somewhere better than this place. Lastly I want to mention, when Victoria finished fixing my hair, the boss actually wanted to charge me entirely again, which is ridiculous, he was yelling at me through the phone. Himself, owning this salon isn't even able to provide the very least empathy and customer service. I myself, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, but if you do go, please go to Victoria! i get my nails done here by lina. shes incredible.. talented at what she does. nails are rock solid and have beautiful shape. i always come back to her. and this higher rating is based on how fabulous her nails are. i wouldnt come to this salon if it wasbt for her service. unfortunately i find some.of the staff unprofessional ... as well as the front desk. there always seems to be upset customers in the back of the salon for whatever reason unfortunately thats not good for business. nail colours for shellac are limited. it would be nice to see the store invest more in colours or alternative brands for more shellac in the marletplace. not sure if they are aware but there is so much nail competition out there with more colour selection... read more

Should have read some of the reviews before I came here! First of all, when I made the appointment the receptionist said that to blow-dry and curl my long hair would be $35. When I went to pay she said it was $40 and with taxes came to $45. Unsatisfied with my results I handed her 3 20s and asked for $10 back. Instead, she handed me $5 in change and then walked away. Embarrassed to ask for more of her 'tip' back, I walked away in frustration. So as for my results; UGH. I went in with a picture of Rita Ora with some soft curls and lots of volume. My hair is naturally pin straight and super flat so I was leaving it up to the experts to give me the glamour look I've always wanted. I went it with recently washed hair so I could save myself a few bucks. After much deliberation on the stylist's part, she decided to curl my hair with a curling iron rather than curl blow-dry it with a brush. DUH! My hair is pin straight, of course curling it with a brush isn't going to work! I should have known to run after that... Once my hair was dry she proceeded with the curling. To my satisfaction, she made many, small curls and used two different types of hairspray. I had high hopes until the end of the appointment when she said I was done and reminded me the curls would loosen by the end of the night. She escorted me out without even trying to give me any volume. So after over paying for a job I didn't like I thought my nightmare would be over. My appointment ended at 4pm and by the time I got to my event at 7pm my hair was virtually flat. By 11pm most of my hair was matted together and was pin straight again. The next day it took two people THIRTY MINUTES I brush out the tangles in my hair after I made sure to sleep in a bun. The following day I washed my hair and came out of the shower thinking I had lit my hair on fire. The smell coming from my head smelled like burnt hair and I just figured the salon's hairspray mixed with my own hair products caused the nasty smell. It has been a week and 3 washes later and my hair still smells just as burnt. I did some research on it and after some remembering I realized that my stylist never put any heat protectant (let alone ANY type of product) in my hair before she curled it. I am in need of a haircut but had been saving the length for that special event. When I dreamed of having professionally curled, luscious hair! Dreams = crushed. The stylist clearly could have seen the damage in my hair and put some product in it before she curled it. Looking back I wish I had just done my hair myself! I thought about going back to the salon and showing them pictures and asking for a refund but I figured a review is the only way of preventing it from happening again or to someone else! read more

I get my hair done by Raz and he is amazing . 5 years ago I was a walk in after my my bangs got destroyed at another salon. Raz did his best to fix them and his blowdry was Top Notch 5 Red Carpet style. I continued to go to him for blow dries , even though I was getting haircuts in Yorkville . Finally I switched to him for my cuts and could not be happier. He is 5 star talent and if you have thick or curly hair Raz is your man !!! read more

The worst place to do a hair treatment. You will damage not only your hair but your scalp as well. Who does bleaching for more than 1 hour? The staff was having zero knowledge on what they are doing, customer service. I will never come back and will strongly recommend to avoid this place at any cost. I went for a keratin treatment. The person named "Micheal" who was called the King of the treatment. The worst person I could have imagined to do the treatment for me. He did keratin, then bleached my hair for more than 1 hour, color my hair (which turned out very bad after the 4th time he tried). My scalp started burning. There was no manager in store and the person responsible there (Hiba) she was so rude and started yelling at me and defending the bad job done on my hair. After complaining she said are you doing this drama for not paying today ? Is that the way to talk to a customer who is not happy with the job that is done on her? Except for the coloring, I did pay the whole keratin treatment which I did not see any results they promised and my hair and scalp is damaged with burning sensation. I asked for a trim on my side bangs. The moment the woman cut it, I knew she did not cut it properly. She gave me straight uneven bangs. The worse part was she knew she screwed up and blamed it on my hair for being "too stiff". I'm very displeased! read more
