I was super new to needing a notary and the whole process for what I needed to get done, and she was able to answer questions for me about the notarization & apostille process and offered translation services for my birth certificate and getting it notarized when I found out apostilles in California needed a California notary. Lisa was "the notary public" of the godsend to me! I received urgent documents via email from Japan at night on 11/7, Wed. My attorney in Japan asked me to have them notarized and apostille attached right away so that I can take them with me on my morning flight to Japan on 11/13 as I already had a reservation. I had to find a notary public fast to help me getting the apostilles before then but I realized that 11/11 was the national holiday and the government offices will be closed. It meant that my only chance to get apostilles was 11/12, a day before my morning flight to Japan. I started to search notary public on Yelp site.
