I Love my new lashes....they look so natural & they are incredibly light weight. I don't even notice them. The shop is decorated in black & purple & very clean. I went with a friend on a Sunday. There is only one artist working Sundays, so our appointments were back to back instead of simultaneously. It gave each of us time to explore the downtown area of San Clemente....it's an adorable beach town. .I absoluetely love not having to wear mascara...a huge time saver in the morning & my eyes look so open & alive...and natural.... I saw a friend the other day for first time in quite awhile. I was so tired that day & had not gotten much sleep. She said I looked great & there was no way she could tell I felt tired...I think it's my lashes...they make me look wide awake... I'm looking forward to getting my refill. I'm hooked !! read more

I toyed with the idea of getting lashes for some time but wasn't sure if I'd be happy with them. My daughter recommended I see Julia Dugan when she first started here and let me tell you, I'm so glad I did. Julia does a fantastic job and I'm always so happy with my results! I love the fact that I can get up on mornings when I don't have to "put my face on" and still feel comfortable with just a bit of blush and gloss and I'm on my way. No..not a great local business. Today after 10 days from my last fill, most of my own eyelashes had fallen out by about the 6th day. Leisa, did not provide excellent customer service at all, in fact after today's fill I had less lashes then 10 days ago, not the look that I wanted. As a business owner myself, I would not treat someone and shame them, not validate the issue of my lashes falling out after just 6 days. Shame on THE LASH LOUNGE. I loved Jaime, she was honest (I asked for a half set, she didn't try to talk me into anything else) and judged what I wanted perfectly - I'm very happy with the work! I absolutely love this place!!! I had my lashes done for the first time at another salon nearby, and had them removed six days later because they were so uncomfortable. Then I was referred to Lash Lounge by a coworker and now I am obsessed with my lashes!!! They look very natural (but way better!!) and unless I'm looking in the mirror or receiving massive amounts of compliments, I forget that I even have them!! I see Julia, and she does AMAZING work! The staff is very friendly and the salon is super cute. It's located on Del Mar in San Clemente, so you can go out for dinner after your appointment and show off your beautiful lashes! I was a loyal customer for many years, always on time, always tipped a generous amount, flexible if they were running late or forgot to put me on the books. Always referred my friends. This all changed, when I went in for my hour long appointment, as I always book with the same person, only to find out they forgot, ONCE again to put me on their books. I was going out of town on vacation. I show up on time, as I always do, only to my to find another lady was in my spot. I said I'm sorry I had an an appointment, everyone looked at my confirmed text. The most they could do was offer me spot with not my original girl for only 30 min. How would the lady that were in my position feel? No apology! Leisa is basically out to lunch with zero ethical way of doing business. She can not deal with any situation professionally. SHAME ON THE LASH LOUNGE . Poor customer service. Won't be coming back or referring anyone to this business. Lashes fall out after 5-6 days after paying $85.00 every 2 weeks. I gave the Lash Lounge the benefit of the doubt, time and time again, only to find out now they want to sell me a "lash grower" at $65.00 plus the $85.00 every two weeks. Complete rip off and horrible business ethics. Lash Lounge has zero work ethics and they are a complete rip off because the lashes fall out and they never own up to it. They expect consumers to pay for appointments that they cancel over their 24 hour appointment time, but Lash Lounge can't own up to their very hour slot that was booked weeks before, and the expect the consumer to pay???? Bad business Leisa! Best of luck to you! Leisa, your response is absolutely a complete lie! You know that too! All I can say is good luck to you! FIRST VISIT-I had an appointment set up at 11 am. in San Juan Capistrano, I was so excited. I show up at 10:56 for my first appointment, being the good customer that I am. The door is locked and all lights are off. I go back to my car and wait. 11:00, I go up to the door again, the door is locked, lights are off? I call the main phone number and they tell me she is probably on her way, she might have been stuck in traffic, not even asking for my phone number. So, now I have to WAIT? I call back at 11:03 and decide to cancel, the girl who answer, tells me that Victoria is there at the shop. I tell her she is NOT, the door is locked! Then she asks me if I am even at the right place? Seriously? I tell her I am looking at Lash Lounge on the door. I cancel & the girl on the phone tells me, "but she is only 3 minutes late". Yes, you are correct, the key word here is LATE! SO unprofessional, get it together! So I would have to wait for her to show up, unlock the door, turn on the lights, then wait as she set up? I don't think so... BE ON TIME! Get in early! BE PROFESSIONAL! Very disappointed, I will NEVER come to this location again.. I was looking forward to it.. :( read more

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at the San Juan location as well as the customer service I did not receive. I will never go back nor would I recommend this place at all. I have been going to another place for lash extensions for the past 3-months who I was extremely happy with and because of my experience knew what to expect. I was interested in switching to Lash Lounge because the price was so much more reasonable. I went in last Tuesday and told my gal (I cannot remember her name) how I like my lashes, very full but not too long. I had booked a 1-hour appointment to do this. The gal was finished after 40-minutes. At that time I said that I was use to a fuller look, but didn't persist because I wasn't sure. When I got home I looked more closely and was super disappointed because my lashes looked like they normally did with my old lash person after 3-weeks. I decided to give Lash Lounge the opportunity to have good customer service and improve my lashes so I called, told them how I was feeling and said that I would be willing to come back the next day for them to add lashes. I communicated how dissatisfied I was in my voicemail. No call back at all. And all of my lashes fell out by Saturday, which was only 4-days after they had been put on. And before that they started to go different directions on my eyes. I would say that my experience on all levels was horrible; the quality of work, the durability and the service. Do not waste your money. I felt like I had essentially thrown mine in the trash! read more

I got lashes from The Lash Lounge about 3 years ago and I was in love with them! I had to stop because financially it did not work into my budget at the time but I always missed them and supplemented with individual lashes I did on my own which were definitely not the same. reached out to the owner Leisa a few weeks back and told her I thought I was wanting to get lashes again. She offered me a full set with one of her new lash artists Jamie. I booked my appointment and even had to change the time the day of due to an emergency at home. Leisa and Jamie were super accommodating with the request. I have my full set again and I am in love! I'm excited to continue to go to The Lash Lounge as the salon is clean and the staff is great at what they do! I go to the location in San Clemente as it is literally down the street from my house but they also have a San Juan Capistrano location that I am sure is just as great! read more
