The space looked unfinished, with construction dust, missing baseboards, old furniture mixed with covered new furniture, and floors that appeared very dirty. It felt more like a construction site than a salon open for business. While I understand that businesses need to remodel from time to time, I don't think it's appropriate to continue serving clients while the salon is in this condition. The environment didn't feel welcoming, relaxing, or professional, and I was uncomfortable throughout my visit. The technician did a good job on my eyebrows, but unfortunately the condition of the salon significantly affected my overall experience. I believe it would have been more professional to temporarily close the salon, or at least postpone appointments, until the renovation was complete. First impressions matter, and walking into a salon that looks like an active construction zone doesn't inspire confidence--especially for a beauty service where cleanliness and professionalism are so important. I hope the finished space turns out beautifully, but based on my experience today, I left disappointed.

I would understand being charged a cancellation fee if it was for a superfluous reason, but this was entirely out of my control. When I brought up how ridiculous it was to charge me for an unforeseen emergency when I was not canceling simply attempting to reschedule, I was told to not make appointments and just call for walk in appointments or daily schedules since my "schedule wasn't firm" from their perspective. As unfortunate as it is that I can't see Christa anymore, it is because of the salon management and not anything she did.
