I used to rate this store 5 stars like last year but as of 2017 I noticed a change in this store, for one I used to be able to get NFL, MLB, NHL jersey's everytime I went now it seems like the workers keep them for themselves or they just for some reason stopped bringing them in and the merchandise never seems to update, I see the same items for months everytime I go with very few new items added, also the prices have been bumped up a bit, I mean 10$ for a plaid shirt? it's no wonder they have thousands of them. Also it would be great if they carried some of the winter items through the summer, they have to understand that a large percentage of their customers are actually resellers who will buy jackets and coats in the summer to resell overseas. It's a giant warehouse with a separate men's section and a separate women's section. Enter the women's section thru the men's section by the small ramp. The quality of the clothes is very low quality and cheap. I doubt they will last past 1 week. Most of the clothes were in cheap materials such as polyester. Most of the clothing and shoes are faded, terrible and outdated. You will find better quality clothes from your local thrift store like GoodWill instead. Please do not go here unless you are here to find a cliché over-the-top costume from the older decades for your costume party. Prices are very low between $5 mostly all the way to $20 at the very most. If you want to look for high end designer brands, this is NOT the place for it. read more

I was very eager to shop at this L train location today. My colleagues and friends had told me it was an excellent place to buy cheap clothing. When I walked into the store I was told to hand over my bag. I didn't think anything of it but after walking around the store for a while I noticed that there were numerous people with bags in the store. All the people with bags were Caucasian. Just curious as to why my bag was taken; I asked the person behind the counter why my bag had been taken and not there's? He yelled at me and said I'm busy right now. I was really taken back by this racism. Being an African American it really hurt. To go to such an acclaimed store and be disrespected like that isn't fun. I wouldn't recommend going to this store. read more

This place is legitimately so good I'm scared to add to its online rep, yet I also live in fear of the day it shuts down. Great organization, super cheap, never crowded. I often go home with something and I'm terrible at shopping. Someone there clearly keeps an eye out for what's in fashion. For example, when brocade came back they had a whole section of vintage brocade blazers. They also have a lot of great basics, both vintage and recent, such as jeans, windbreakers, etc. I love introducing friends to this place. read more

L train vintage gets three stars only because of the quality of clothes they sell. Their store staff however is a pair of little shits. It was 8:07 while I was trying on clothes, when the staff addressed me that the store was closed and that he needed to leave. Extremely rude. I had already asked if they closed at 8 which I confirmed and my company had previously apologized for us running late. As I hurried to change between clothes, I was offended at the fact your employee had to reiterate you were closed. I got it. I work in retail. No need to be a dick about it. read more

This place has changed. The prices jumped, and they are NOT cheap when it comes to the good stuff. You used to be able to go inside with $20 and come put with a pair of branded sneakers and some nice branded apparel, but now $20 can get you some crappy little league apparel and underground rockband tshirts from the 80's-90's. This actually could be my fault, for showing the manager how to properly research sneakers and clothing. So now instead of $10 jordans, their minumum is ALWAYS $40-$50 for jordans and Nikes (authentic or fake), and ive seen them price FAKE Jordans for $120. Another thing is their rafels. I find it suspicious that one of the employees close friends won the "$100 Shopping spree" rafel, and also that you can go onto any of their Instagrams and see that THEY SAVE ALL THE GOOD STUFF FOR THEMSELVES, RATHER THEN PUTTING THEM ON SHELVES AND RACKS. It looks as though it is a treasure trove of thrift clothes because of the massive size of this place.
