Prices have gone up slightly in the past year esp for the newer items or better brands but still unbeatable selection of any thrift store I've been to. I almost hesitate to post this review and increase its popularity, as I'm starting to see more new faces every time I go now. You'll have to put in a lot of time - at least an hour, but you will definitely walk out with something. Last time I visited, the cat followed me throughout the store and stayed glued to my leg. Wow. Left today with the most awful shopping experience ever. Got kicked out by employees today out of the store. Came in today at around 4pm, in my card I gathered like 5 pairs of pants, two dresses, two shirts all ridiculously overpriced, every top they sell should be 3$ tops yet whatever, now this place is becoming greedy, taking advantage of their customers. They don't have any reasons whatsoever to sell their stuff for $25-30. So at 4:50pm they turned off the lights and became yelling at me that they are closed. I've been coming to this store for years, and have been to this location more then 7 times in the past two months, spent $500+ and usually I come in early, yet we all have to work, so I can't always come in a morning, still I hear employees complain how they work all day and "these people don't understand and are disrespectful". Truly, I think it's the woman complaining behind the counter is being disrespectful. Personally for me 30 mins is more then enough time to try on a couple of pants and see which one am I getting. Yet, even with me always coming early and putting everything neatly back on the rack, picking things up from the floor because they have ridiculously cheap hangers that don't hold a pair of pants, and I like to see what's have fallen on the floor and love to leave things tidy and also help them out because why not, yet all I get from them is a side eye and talks behind my back and laughs. Still get harassed by employees, I can hear them complain and talk crap in Spanish, and kick me out at 4:50pm, just when I was walking towards the mirror this employee yells at me "it's closed!!". Well if you want your store to close at 5pm, put the sign on that you close at 5pm. If your closing time is set for 5:30pm then you don't have a right to kick me out at 4:50pm. Idk why they have it listed as 5:30 but they WILL kick you out at 5:00 (even if you're a sweet nice old lady like the poor woman behind me struggling with a zipper and panicking as they are yelling at her)! The place would be great if they didn't sell things at 10X the amount that it should be sold at. They get the clothes for FREE yet they treat the customers like they are at fault for coming in to buy them. They are way too expensive and, even though the selection is good, I'm giving that win to the people who donate. I'd say give your clothes to a better cause because these people are MEAN! I live very close to this location and stop by several times a month. This location is HUGE. They have so many racks of fantastic items. Today I spent about an hour in the store and brought home the following for under $30... -Corduroy Skirt /$3 -Oversized Corduroy Shirt /$3 -Oversized Faux Leather Jacket /$7 -Shorts /$5 -2x Sweaters /$5 each If you visit this store often, you'll find fantastic clothing on the regular. I still like this place, but it's becoming overpriced for what it is. One of those thrift stores where even items that already show obvious wear and tear are $8-10. Still a better option than resorting to fast fashion, or doing all your thrift shopping online (since shipping everything you buy around the country is pretty wasteful as well), but it's frustrating to sort through so many things that are not a bargain when you can see that their usable lifespan is going to be short, but the price is still somewhere in the middle. It is a clean space, with friendly staff who are very efficient, no long waits at the register. Organization by type of clothing is great, by size is nonexistent. This is entirely a clothes and shoes thrift store, with no housewares or books/records. read more

So this place was super dope. The store is humongous . There is a lot of clothing shoes purses it's really really big so I didn't go through the whole thing being that I didn't have my proper thrifting back pack . I got two dresses , and 3 flannels all for 8 bucks . The dresses were half off so they were $2.50 each and the flannels were $1 . The prices were on point and I think this will def be my new spot . You will have to bring Mr patience with you though. It is a big store so it can be overwhelming but it has some gems in it . There were also kids running around while I was shopping and I really wanted to pull off my belt but that's not my job . But it was a really cool spot . I'll def be back . Their shoe section also is really good and they had brand names for 5-10 bucks which is awesome so I'm looking forward to coming back here . REALLY great. i'm glad this is close to home but far enough that i can't visit every week....... a few (overwhelmingly positive) thoughts: 1. the price point - the average price of what i bought was about ~$8. as i was browsing, the most "expensive" item i picked up was a calvin klein dress for about $20. 1a. cash only! i actually loved this, because i can go a bit crazy (especially since the selection is so great) and having only a certain amount on hand made me that much more intentional about what i was buying. i could have easily been lured into spending much more here. 2. selection and quality - as many reviewers have mentioned, this store is HUGE. also check out their website because they have several locations (i'd definitely be curious to see how each branch compares). i will be using goodwill in downtown brooklyn (my go-to for thrifting since i used to work in the area, and where i've gone many - many - many a time. shoutout also to city opera) as a point of reference. compared to that goodwill, the dress selection when i visited le point was a bit lacking (though this may be due to the season). i didn't try on anything from that section at all. blazers and coats are pretty great on both accounts; it's hard for me to walk out of goodwill without a new blazer and i suspect it's a similar case here. however, the pants, sweaters, and other separates at le point blew it out of the water for me - i picked up two sweaters (and could have easily bought two more), a wool legacy blazer, navy straight-leg pants for work, and a flannel shirt in some great autumn colors for about ~$45 in total. everything i got was in great condition; countries of manufacture are also important to me and i was really pleased by that as well. i wasn't shopping for shoes, but saw the selection out of the corner of my eye and it seems strong there, too. 3. the closing time - please note that this place closes pretty early (5pm when i went). it's easy to get overwhelmed while walking around, so make sure you come early because you'll want those extra hours. i was in the zone and hadn't been aware of time passing when a cashier politely informed me that they had to close - other staff had tried to tell me earlier but i apparently just hadn't heard them (they were too soft spoken and extremely nice, lol). 4. the dressing rooms - this is inconvenient, but there are only about two changing rooms that do NOT have mirrors. there are about two or three full length mirrors outside, and one was blocked by shopping carts when i visited. since there is so much to go through (and therefore, a lot to try on) what i'd recommend is wearing a tank top (or perusing the racks and picking one from there that you're comfortable with, which is what i did) so you can try button-downs, coats, and other separates easily in that outside area. i was able to put on on many of the sweaters and blazers that i wanted this way without feeling like i was hogging one of the few dressing rooms. similarly, leggings would probably be a good idea if you'll be trying on dresses and would rather just throw it on and see how it looks in the mirror before browsing again. a heads up, however - there is usually a staff member in that area reshelving all the clothes that people have tried on. this person may comment approvingly on your purchases (all the comments were very supportive, from what i overheard lol) so if you'd rather avoid attention, just be ready for that if you go my suggested route. 5. parking - this may not apply to everyone, but could be useful. i drove to this location on a sunday (when metered parking is not in effect), and spots were plentiful in the area. i ended up right out front and got to put all my beautiful new (used) clothes right in my trunk and then was off on my merry way. a wonderful bonus. so worth the trip! i'm going to try and space out my visits so i don't go overboard, but i'll definitely be back the next time i have a free day. read more

Omg this place is huge! You'll really need a lot of patience to look it all over. But so far this is one of the cheapest thrift shops I've ever been. Sometimes you can find really cool pieces there for an amazing price, sometimes it even still has tags! But really annoying thing is that they have only two cabins where you can try on your cloths, for this huge store it is not enough. Also for some reason most of the mirrors is covered. read more

This is my favorite thrift store in all of NYC. They have a great selection (the store is massive and the people who work there are constantly restocking the racks!) and the prices are unbeatable; I go all the time and have never seen anything in the store that cost more than $15! The store cat is also a definite plus. They have three or four circular racks where everything there is a dollar: a rack of pants, a rack of flannels, and a few racks of t-shirts. Most dresses and coats go for $5-$10 and the average cost for a pair of pants (many new with the tags still on) is $7! I would highly recommend this thrifting experience! read more

They are always delivering! This thrift shop is probably the best I've found in the city. It's so lowkey. The prices are absolutely immaculate and I adore this. They have millions of different styles as well. So many different varieties of shoes and pants. Jackets and skirts. Even dresses. It's a wonderful place. And everybody there is so friendly. I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a good thrift shop. I always come in here once in a blue when I have a lot of spending money and spend at like 75 dollars. They have great prices, and a lot of hidden treasures. The store is huge, with a lot to cover. It takes time and patience to look through all the clothes, but it's worth it. Thrift stores in NYC aren't even thrift stores anymore - they make their clothes cost as expensive as a regular store selling new clothes. Not this place!!! I happen upon this place by chance as I passed by this street. This place is huge and has many clothes and shoes on racks for you to browse through. You can find a lot of shirts and pants for $3 - I don't think I've seen anything here for more than $15. The stuff here is actually decent and good quality. This is a hidden gem in Brooklyn and no longer do I feel ripped off by hipster thrift stores selling junk throughout the city. read more

This thrift store is one of the greatest examples of "don't judge a book by its cover" EVER. I always walk past this place while headed to the train, but didn't care to go in because it doesn't look promising. To be frank, it looks shabby. Only reason I stepped in one day is because I was helping a friend go through her closet and noticed the cutest brand name (I believe Zara) powder blue slip dress, apparently snagged from this place for THREE dollars. Three. Anyway, I went there with a lot of hope and I was not disappointed- grabbed a super cute Liz Taylor striped velvet crop top (5 bucks), an old navy oversized denim Sherpa (10 bucks) and a Liz Taylor olive green suede jacket (3 bucks). All good quality. They have an insanely great selection of jackets, some designer. I fell in love with a camel fringe coat (non-designer) but it was huge :-( The sheer amount of jeans and shorts they have is overwhelming, it takes up half the store. If you're a vintage 501s person, go wild. Only cons I can think of are: -Their "shopping bags" literally being black garbage bags with NO handles. Guys, come on. I don't want to walk all the way home tugging a literal garbage bag along. Bring your own bag to avoid this. -Another con (that's not really a con because it's so cute) they have a cat. It's orange and young and if you pet it, it will play fight with you. It also roams freely around the racks, touching and rubbing itself on the clothing, so like...if you've got allergies, beware. read more

I bought A tweed mini dress, A super chunky stylish plaid scarf, and two pairs of heels for less than $20! They do not allow you to try on the clothes right now, which is definitely a con. I absolutely love this place. Thrifting in NYC is on a whole new level on its own compared to shops in Europe. Dresses were about $5-8 (although I did see some that were closer to the $15 range even though the price was not justified for that particular piece), skirts were $3, denim shorts were $5-$7, and shirts were about $3. I was there last week and they were having 50% off on dresses, blouses and shorts. My total till came up to $15 for 3 shorts (1 was a culottes, so the cashier lady acknowledged that it's a form of shorts and gave me the discount), 2 skirts, 1 blouse and 1 silk headscarf. There were some obvious signs of wear, but it's nothing I cannot overlook for the price I'm paying. Be prepared to do a whole lot of sifting through the racks. I didn't have the time to look through everything in the store in the 1.5hrs I was there before the shop closed, and I didn't have the chance to look through most of their dresses. There are only 2 dressing rooms and the mirrors are only on the outside, so that was a little bit troublesome. There were two (what seemed like) foreign exchange students trying on clothes by just putting it over what they were wearing, which you can do if you're in a hurry and don't want to wait for the dressing rooms. Overall, it's a fantastic place to get bargains if you've got time and are willing to dig around for your version of gold. read more

Such a huge selection of clothing - might have to do a little digging as there is a vast amount of clothes (some with stains and rips), but I found this amazing brand new romper in mint condition...to top it off, it was half off! My husband absolutely loves this store I (the woman who likes to shop) not so much! I do have to say that they prices are very cheap and I myself have found some really good items here. I have always lost out on finding any good things for our baby girl, but perhaps I have not looked hard enough. But, that's just it, the store is so over packed it gets annoying to look through the racks. The last time we went here (which was last week 12/19) my husband found a really good quality coat and dress pants for half-off the price on the tags (we paid $9). My experience was bad as for some reason even though I was pushing my daughter in her stroller two of the ladies who worked here kept watching me and following me as if I would steal. I asked why they wouldn't let me in and she said they lock the doors at 5:30... which in and of itself is ridiculous, but wasn't even close to that. Like many super cheap thrift stores, the vibe is pretty sad. Older, low income people going through everything all day. I left with a decent dress for $2 so I can't complain, but the quality is too low for me. I had to go through every item before I found something decent. Some of the stuff on the rack is not clean making me almost regret my decision to only thrift and stop shopping at unethical chains.
