Popcorn Lei for my niece's Graduation... A lei made out of popcorn? Sounds odd, but I've seen them! They're kind of large and bulky, but are delicious and unique! I thought that a popcorn lei would be perfect for this special occasion! ...Because you only graduate from high school once in your life, right? Located on the lower level of Windward Mall, near the escalator of the Ross and the Regal Theater wing, L1 Iniki Popcorn has several locations. This happens to be a kiosk which has wonderful fragrances surrounding it! That buttered, savory scent catches my attention every time! Service was efficient and helpful. I was asked if I wanted a colored popcorn lei or a kaki mochi (arare) popcorn lei... And what color ribbon on the lei? Good questions! I got a colored popcorn lei with a pink ribbon for my niece and a kaki mochi lei with a red ribbon for my friend's daughter. The mochi crunch (arare) leis were already made. Yay! I got a chance to watch the colored popcorn lei being made! A funnel was used to fill the cellophane tube... Genius! I was really happy that this L1 Iniki Popcorn kiosk was open before 10am. I entered the air-conditioned Mall from Ross where I parked for free! Everything went smoothly! My niece and my friend's daughter were happily surprised when they received their popcorn lei! Thanks to L1 Iniki Popcorn for helping us celebrate this special occasion! Congratulations to the Class of 2023! Best wishes always!

Went to Windward mall and was surprised that the lines for L1 Iniki Popcorn was non stop people lined up and there was constantly customers stopping by to order popcorn or picking up cotton candy and candy corn. They have a great tasting product with just the amount of flavor or items to add to your requests from mochi crunch (arare) to furikake to flavored popcorn if you want to add the sweet with the salty they have a variety of choices. Their popcorn is large and fresh because it was non stop popping to keep up with all the orders. The 2 workers had a very busy day and also keeping the area clean and wearing their mask and keeping customers social distance.

I paid for a medium but this is a small.

L1 Iniki consistently makes the best hurricane popcorn that I've had. I always get the Volcano flavor which has arare & furikake. Unfortunately, today I was charged for a medium size and given a small size. I watched her put 2 scoops of popcorn in the bag, then take one scoop back out, before she started adding the flavorings. I told her it looked small but she insisted it was a medium size. It was not. I know because I always order a medium. I guess next time, if I go back, I should pointedly ask how many scoops of popcorn is a medium size.

My friend and I walked past the popcorn cart and the smell was sooo good we just had to get some popcorn!!! We've both been to this place before so we knew it was good! I got a medium Volcano which is butter, furikaki and Mochi crunch, a medium a fairly big and definitely enough for a few people. My friend got a large Iniki for her family which was sour cream and onion, butter and furikake. We both agreed that this is the best mall popcorn! They are always very busy so the popcorn is always popped fresh. Service was pretty quick. Popcorn has that nice round shape which makes it special. Try it and you won't be disappointed! They also had cotton candy and also make popcorn leis!

Today I was walking around Windward Mall and it was empty. Even though most schools was still off today because of waiver day . I came across this popcorn kiosk right next door to Fun Factory and in front of Ross's . First of all you can smell the freshly popped popcorn. I got there and I ask the person who was working there if they popped fresh batch if I ordered. I really don't the left over popcorn in the machine I rather have a fresh batch. He replied they always popped fresh popcorn per order. That's why I had to wait awhile until he added the kernels and until the machine gets hot and start popping. I thought that was 2 thumbs up because I been to other popcorn places and they use some of the leftover and fresh popped popcorn. To my surprise my popcorn was fresh and warm. I ordered their butter w/ Mochi crunch popcorn. Support local and "Happy New Years "

We hardly get to Windward Mall but everytime we do we love getting popcorn from here. We got lucky when we went cuz there was no line :) I suggest getting a small bag too so you can eat it on your way home while saving the big bag for later Haha

I'm not sure what the original name of this kiosk used to be but they changed it to L1 Iniki Popcorn due to some name legality issue. But, no worries, it's still the same owner with the same popcorns. Popcorns: I think the popcorns here are pretty good. They make it fresh so it's not sitting long, you will most times get a fresh bag of popcorn even if you have to wait a little bit (that's the down side). Customer service: depending on when you you go, the weekends and holidays, this place need to be staffed with extra help. If not you will wait forever for your popcorn like I did today and I was ready to ask for my refund. Not to mention the sales staff is not very friendly either.

So Ono. The is little cart has all kine goodies. The popcorn is made fresh and right in front of you. We had like a five minute wait but it was worth it. Located in front of Ross on the on side of Windward Mall near the pet store. You can smell the popcorn literally from the center of the mall. They also have cotton candy and three different candies nuts. Almonds, pecans and c macadamia nuts. The prices are pretty decent for the amount you get. And it's still fresh and tasty the next day. It's a must try.

Located on the 1st floor by Ross in the Windward Mall right below the movie theaters, this is the only popcorn we get before the movies, they are the BEST! There popcorn is always made fresh, give yourself a few extra minutes. There popcorn is full and round, and I always get a small Volcano, butter, furikake and Mochi mix, so good! We order a small for $3.99 and it feeds 2 1/2 people for an entire movie. So much cheaper than the theater. Did I say how fresh it is?! He makes it when you order, so be patient. They also have $3 Cotton candy and warm nuts for $4.99. Nuts are pricey but worth it. You can always take it to go too, and they accept credit cards for $5+ orders. Definitely check them out.

Today, Hawaiian Chip Company uses only the highest quality Okinawan sweet potatoes and taro grown on the Big Island and Oahu's North Shore and golden sweet potatoes grown on Molokai to make their gourmet chips. This assures only the freshest and highest quality chips that they can produce. They also use canola oil (trans-fat free) and minimal amounts of sodium, and are preservative-free. The Hawaiian Chip Co.'s has expanded its product line over the years and offers the following: * Taro and sweet potato chips mix. Combine earthly richness of taro with the subtle sweetness of Okinawan and golden sweet potatoes of five flavors of hand-peeled, thinly sliced chips that are lightly seasoned: original (lightly salted), zesty garlic, Kiawe BBQ, Kiawe Fire, and sugar coated. * BBQ and hot sauces. The Kilauea Fire BBQ sauce was introduced in 2008, which has a spicy kick and great as a marinade for beef, chicken, pork; can be used as a dipping sauce. The Kilauea Fire Hot Sauce is spicier and less sweet than the Kilauea Fire BBQ Sauce. This led to the Raging Volcano Hot Sauce, which is a vinegar-based hot sauce and the spiciest hot sauce that they make. They also offer a Papaya Seed Salad Dressing. * Collaboration with Eden in Love in offering colorful logo tote bags. * Menehune Mac Hawaiian chocolates. As labor is intensive for the candies to be hand-scooped, there is difficulty in finding quality workers, and it was simply not feasible to continue I was first introduced to the taro and sweet potato chip mix that was sold in Costco, as most people do. You can get this exact item at a lower price in their showroom, plus it may be fresher. For home snacking, I love their Bits of Chips, a mixture of whole chips and broken pieces that are sold at a discounted price. They are not always available, as it depends on when the chips are available and made. It is suggested to call the store to inquire if there are any available. Once we were taking our Pastor friend and his wife from Japan around the island, and they wanted to stop there to purchase a bag of Bits of Chips and hand-carried it back to Japan! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Samples are freely given out as you enter the showroom, and you can take it out back and try the different toppings. Service is efficient and quick. The building houses its small showroom retail store and is their factory where the chips are cut and fried. Hours of operation are Mon to Fri 9a to 5p, Sat 9a to 3p, Sun closed. Lots of free parking in their private lot. Cross the street and visit their sister showroom, 'Ulu Chip Factory, where you can find seasonal breadfruit chips combined with cassava chips, as well as the the Keith's cookies line. Trump's tariff implementation has raised prices twice in 2025 with increased packaging costs due to supplies coming from China.
