Refund receipt instead of making a fresh new order... WOW!!
    Wally Rick R.

Came to the Angels game today... bought The Helmet Nachos and requested one extra scoop of cheese and was denied! Unbelievable!! I requested a new order to be made as the ones I had were already soggy with all the meat and beans.. denied! I always have extra cheese on all my nachos, I offered to pay extra.. denied... I never had a problem with extra cheese at Dodgers Stadium, I'm just saying!! I live in Anaheim and across the street from the stadium! Worst experience here ever!! Refund receipt instead of making a fresh new order... WOW!! The supervisor who helped wasn't helpful and denied making a new fresh order.. he isn't allowed too... #Angels #Dodgers #CustomerService #CustomerRelations

A few coincidental facts about the Angels: 1. The Angels and Texas Rangers (originally the second Washington Senators team) took part in MLB's 1960 expansion draft and began their first seasons in 1961, both as American League teams. 2. Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan played for both the Angels (1972-1979) and Rangers (1989-1993). 3. Hall of Fame right fielder and DH Vlad Guerrero played for both teams too (Angels 2004-2009, Rangers 2010). A couple other notable players to play for both the Angels and Rangers are Josh Hamilton and CJ Wilson, both of whom played in two World Series for the Rangers (2010 and 2011). So, the Angels and Rangers have developed a rivalry. Like the NBA's Lakers and Clippers, Los Angeles fields two teams in MLB as well. The Dodgers have by far the more storied history (since 1883) and championships (six World Series titles from 1955 to 1988). However, currently, the Angels own the most recent championship: 2002. That October, the Angels bested one of their in-state rivals, the San Francisco Giants, four games to three. The MVP of the series was third baseman Troy Glaus who was also a three-time All-Star with the Angels. The Giants had a chance to put the Angels away in Game 6, but Glaus was a big part of the Angels' comeback run in the 7th inning. The history of the franchise, like many in MLB, is interesting, but probably what's most confusing, especially to the casual sports fan, are the series of official name changes the team has had since its inception. The team has had four name changes since 1961: 1. Los Angeles Angels (1961-1964) 2. California Angels (1965-1996) 3. Anaheim Angels (1997-2004) 4. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2005-2015) 5. Los Angeles Angels (2016 to present) Yep, in 2016, they went back to their original name. Unlike the Dodgers who play in Dodger Stadium which is located in Central LA, Angel Stadium is in Anaheim, Orange County, about 30 miles southeast of downtown LA (35 minutes in light traffic, but more likely closer to a 45-minute to one-hour drive).

Nothing bad to say about the stadium besides I wish they let you in 2 hours before first pitch instead of an hour and a half. Not an Angel fan but I go yearly to see the Red Sox. You don't have unruly fans like at dodger stadium so it's nice to see the opposing team. The stadium is nice and leaving is a breeze after the game.

Corroded pipe above our seating leaking droplets all throughout the game

Do not sit in Section 132 row z. Leaking corroded pipe ruined the entire game experience for myself and my family.

I miss going to baseball games, sippin' a nice cold one and eating some helmet nachos! Not the biggest baseball fan but watching the Angels at the stadium is fun. Plus it's right across from my favorite brewery Golden Road! Best place to go before heading to the game, or watching the game during this COVID period.

I love the comment from David C. that "first off... we are not L.A.!!!!" It's Anaheim. The Angels play at a beautiful open stadium. Decent seats don't have to be terribly expensive. But let's mention what makes the Angels a modern day baseball team I want to see go far... Three players, oldest to youngest. Albert Pujols. His stats speak for themselves. His swing is an art form. He's so dedicated and motivated to greatness. But you know what's more impressive to me than his near 3,000-career hits? His off the field endeavors. Back to baseball, though... that time Pujols took the Dodger's Yasiel Puig to school: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHNEOrJarQs Mike Trout. Fun to watch defensively and offensively. Sure, he's got an arrogant demeanor. Many pros do. Let's not forget he is currently the highest paid MLB player. Shohei Ohtani. This Japan-born pitcher can hit. For real. He hit two homers in his first game with the Angels. He has pretty much been on fire with his bat since then. Great ballpark. Can't miss it with those giant red caps. Get there early for a decent parking spot. Yes, it will be chaotic leaving. No need to road rage, though. '18 Challenge #46

Professional baseball is really cool to watch and experience... In real life, the audience makes the game more exciting! (Watching a game at home is such a different thing!) We were at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, so we were at a Home Game where the loyal fans are so energetic, loud, and fun! The LA Angels seem to have great teamwork and spirit! I'm so glad that I got a chance to see them play and beat the Texas Rangers! Yay!

Southern California Baseball! Living in Orange County and around Angel fans for many years i've always found that they've been a solid base and chill people win loose no matter what the way it should be at sporting events! Growing up in San Clemente i always rooted for the Padres I'm always happy for my friends when the Angels are doing well as it's good for what's close to home. Good luck to the Angels and their fans but see you at Petco in SD!

I've grown up being an Angels fan! I was the happiest guy in the world in 2002 when I witnessed the Angels as WORLD CHAMPIONS of baseball! It's been a long time since we've been contenders, but through thick and thin I've been a hardcore fan. I love the new time right now and the direction it is going. Would love to see them contend this season! Go Angels!

I often accompany her to Ducks games and today was the first time this season. We sit near a mother (90-something) and son (60-something) who are there every game. The son has a huge bellowing voice to yell "Let's Go Ducks!!" No doubt the players can hear him from the ice rink. The Honda Center is full of adrenaline and pep and it's entertaining to watch people as much as it is to watch the game! The new parking structure is really nice! I didn't understand why my friend insisted on parking backwards but then it totally made sense as we left just now because it's much easier to join the line of departing cars if you're driving forward. ALSO, if someone kind makes room for you in the line. Thank you, kind person! Back to the Honda Center--we got some chicken tenders and curly fries for $15 for dinner because we were hungry after work. (Usually we just get Dole whip soft serve pineapple (yum))! Generous portions of real chicken meat in three huge tenders which were well cooked and seasoned, on a mountain of curly fries--very satisfying! You grab your own condiments to go, so I got ranch and ketchup. The Ducks played very well and it was fun sitting next to a 5-year-old boy and his dad--the boy was enraptured with the game, shouting things like "Ducks, do better!" To which his dad replied, "well, we ARE winning". I went to my first Ducks game back in 1996, 30 years ago when Paul Kariya was playing. It's still a super fun team to watch live!! I'm sure we'll be back!

We fell lower but went up to 18th. Hopefully we can at least try to get to 15 or 12 or 10th place before the season ends. Anyways ducks had a huge comeback this season and here's pictures from the 2024 season home opener. Go ducks!

I was fortunate to attend a Banana Ball League game featuring the Savannah Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns. The Indy Clowns have a rich, pioneering history tracing back to the 1930s! It was about 7 to 8 minute walk from the Ayres Hotel. So can't really comment on parking for this particular game. Although exiting the game as a pedestrian was a challenge. For the OG yelpers, think of the video game, Frogger. At the gate, it was nice to be greeted by friendly greeters in banana suits! There were several yellow tents in the front selling Savannah Bananas merch and other Banana Ball League items. Although the lines were long, they kept it moving. The hubby and I were seated up in the upper level. It was a combo of an escalator and stairs to get up there. There are the big screens or just watching the action directly on the field from the upper level. In the latter part of the game, we took a break and went downstairs to to get Angel dogs and a drink. Those hot dogs hit the spot. The drinks were in a large commerative Angels plastic cup. Lines of course are long but they did a great job of keeping them moving. The Savannah Bananas/Indianapolis Clowns game was a good family-friendly experience at a nice ballpark. 4 stars.

Relocation time I got an email stating I can move my 3 tickets but if I wanted to add or remove tickets I needed to call. I called and they saw the 4 years of my calls and requests. After a long hold the Chargers stated since I sold some of my tickets the last few seasons they would not sell me a fourth ticket. I can not in recommend doing business with the Chargers.
