I can't really speak to the food because I just bought beer the last time I was here. I've also recently come here specifically to see 'Stars on Ice' which included some of our greatest Winter Olympians - past and present. When I recently visited, they were going through some renovation so it affected the logistics a bit, but they were still pretty organized. The folks selling the beverages were super friendly and it was pretty easy finding my section/ seat. Getting to see some of our great Olympians was just so fun and the energy from the crowd was electric. Getting to see Alyssa Liu's viral routine and the Blade Angels performing their K-pop Demon Hunters routine was special.

I often accompany her to Ducks games and today was the first time this season. We sit near a mother (90-something) and son (60-something) who are there every game. The son has a huge bellowing voice to yell "Let's Go Ducks!!" No doubt the players can hear him from the ice rink. The Honda Center is full of adrenaline and pep and it's entertaining to watch people as much as it is to watch the game! The new parking structure is really nice! I didn't understand why my friend insisted on parking backwards but then it totally made sense as we left just now because it's much easier to join the line of departing cars if you're driving forward. ALSO, if someone kind makes room for you in the line. Thank you, kind person! Back to the Honda Center--we got some chicken tenders and curly fries for $15 for dinner because we were hungry after work. (Usually we just get Dole whip soft serve pineapple (yum))! Generous portions of real chicken meat in three huge tenders which were well cooked and seasoned, on a mountain of curly fries--very satisfying! You grab your own condiments to go, so I got ranch and ketchup. The Ducks played very well and it was fun sitting next to a 5-year-old boy and his dad--the boy was enraptured with the game, shouting things like "Ducks, do better!" To which his dad replied, "well, we ARE winning". I went to my first Ducks game back in 1996, 30 years ago when Paul Kariya was playing. It's still a super fun team to watch live!! Definitely take advantage of a snack bar opportunity. They have a building I never seen used! But a set up outside is worth it.

Eating at the other places in the stadium is good but the hassle with lines and waiting, then carrying everything back to the suite is not worth the extra trouble and you most likely won't save much money. For these reasons, I feel the $60 per person is actually very reasonable when you come hungry, stick to the included drinks, and take a couple of hot dogs back to the suite for a snack later. Service is really good and I appreciate club for an option. Note: outside seating is generally not included with the regular suite ticket.

It was nice to get the first seating, we arrived a little after 4:30 pm and got a table inside near the window. Proceeded to make our way to the buffet to sample all the food items. Really enjoyed the cookies, ice cream bar, and the desserts. If you step outside, you can see the game right behind home plate which is the prime view. There's also a section of the diamond club that was a bar area, where people were watching the Argentina vs. Cape Verde FIFA World Cup game. So intense! One person in our party was comped, and the other person was $60 for the buffet. What a splendid way to kick off 4th of July wknd in town! After dinner, we proceeded to our prime seats, watched the game till close to 7:45 pm, and then went back to the Diamond Club to get ourselves some hot dogs and cookies. You can access the club till 8 pm to get hot dogs and desserts. This may just be a one-time experience for us! Enjoyed it for what it was! :)
