Now the lady that helped me was sweet and I told her what I wanted .. a clean up,keep eyebrows thick and shape them as similar as possible since my left brow is looking a little skinnier. She replies with "yes of course no problem I see exactly what you are saying". It was my first time here and I was nervous but since she seemed so understanding I felt like I was in good hands. NOPE. I was in shock with how off and thin my left eyebrow turned out. Shorter and thinner not at all looking like the sister of my right eyebrow. It was BAD. So with that I am never returning here again. I decided to do this review because my sister-in-law asked me to refer her to the person who does my brows! I love this place so I decided I owe them a review and referral. I've been getting my brows threaded here for over a year. I won't go anywhere else because, like most women, I'm sensitive about my brows and they've been bludgeoned before by people who just don't give two cares! I only go to the mom. I see lots of reviewers go the the daughter Christy, but the mom cares for my shape very well! She keeps it full and manages my arch! She listens to my requests and takes any criticism I have (only once) very well. I only wish they offered tinting! Oh, they only accept cash! read more

I moved to Los Angeles from Downey 3 years ago and continued to drive down to Downey to get my eyebrows threaded because I was apprehensive about letting anyone else touch my eyebrows. I found this threading salon and decided to try it based on the rave Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did!!!! I went during my lunch break and got seated right away. The woman noticed that I had makeup to fill in my brows so she wiped the makeup off and my first reaction was, "oh shit, now I have to go back to work without any eyebrows!!!!" Little did I know, they actually fill in your eyebrows at the end of the session so that you're looking as fabulous as ever!! What I loved the most was that the woman took her time on each of my eyebrows. It was the longest threading session I have ever had because the woman was so precise and careful. I had the worst experience coming to get my brows threaded here! I usually go to the young woman who I believe is the owner but on this particular day I went to her mother WORST MISTAKE EVER She was so rude because I let my brows grow out because I wanted them to be really nice for my baby shower. The entire time she was threading my brows she complained "Too Much Hair" I explained that I was growing them out, she made me feel so uncomfortable. I even gave her a big tip because she complained so much. When I saw my brows they were horrible one brow thinner that the other one. I told the OWNER she told me to pencil them in?! I never pencil my brows they are very thick with a natural arch. Now months later my other brow still has not grown back!! I literally have to pencil them in every day!! The damage this rude lady caused me is so bad my face looks so uneven if I don't pencil them in everyday I HATE THIS PLACE for ruining my brows! I had beautiful brows since I was a child now they are horrible I wish I can sue them for emotional damages!! Now I only get them waxed going one day my other brow would grow back! read more

I came here because i had seen the reviews and wanted to try a new place out since I usually go to the Culver City mall and its a stretch for me at times. The first time I went I was helped by a young woman who did a good job. Second time I went an older lady helped me, she wasn't as gentle as the first lady who had helped me. The third time I went was horrible, the older lady gave me chola eyebrows. She made them so thin and with no curve, there was no form. It was a thin upside down " U". They only accept cash. They don't book appointments. There's no parking and if there is good luck, the other patrons there don't know how to park and could care less. read more

I've been coming here for the past few weeks to have my eyebrows threaded by Sunita. She does a wonderful job: she always gets the eyebrow shape right and maintains the fullness of my brows. I decided to finally write a review after getting the deep clean facial with Christie. She used Murad and Dermalogica products and the facial lasted for almost an hour and a half. Throughout the facial Christie also did an upper body, neck, and arm massage. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing and I walked out feeling very pampered. Great service! Was helped immediately by one of their associates. Clean place with very welcoming people. They don't take credit or debit so make sure to bring cash! I typically wouldn't write reviews but I have to give this place credit because the care and quality of getting threaded was far from all the others!! She took time and detail to get my eyebrows and lip perfect! She threaded also around my bottom lip, which no other threading place has ever done. The lining of my brows were perfect and afterwards, she even gave me a mini brow massage. I honestly almost fell asleep. Definitely will be coming back, even though I live on the other side of town. Today's visit was not enjoyable as there was a new girl present who was still in training. I wouldn't have minded if I would have been told since the beginning but I was not. The owner is back from maternity leave though and she still does a good job and she came to fix some errors the girl made. For eyebrows and upper lip it took 38 minutes and during that time the owner was able to do two other people's eyebrows so it was wayyy too long and I literally felt each hair being pulled out. read more

I love this place and of course, Sristri. I have naturally thin eyebrows (one of which is thinner than the other) and which grow rather slowly. I've been to many other threading studios before and in their attempt to "even them out" they take off too much and I've looked like they've been drawn on with a chid's pencil. That's NOT THE CASE with Sristri though, from day 1 (at the time she worked at another location) she made them beautiful and pretty thick. She has magical little fingers and an eye for symmetry. When she's done threading she gives the most relaxing facial massage that relieves tension and applies a dab of powder to my eyebrows to make them look perfect and ready for any occasion. FANTASTIC! The eyebrow techs are great at what they do. Instead of someone doing long and fast threading strokes they take the time to be precise with your brows. Their stokes are short and a little slower than most. It helps them create the best shape for you specific brows which I love. They also cut your brows if they are a bit long. And provide a luxury experience with a mini face/head massage because everyone knows that eyebrow threading comes with a little pain. Afterwards they even lightly fill your brows with some make up. Which is great for someone who doesn't normally fill their brows to help get them started or act as a guide. All this for only 9$!! It was my first coming here.
