In the buying process, the Face Fix does not have a description of what it includes/excludes. I only discovered that it included 2 services/month when I tried to book a third service in the same month. Sure - ok maybe just a website issue... so I emailed them and have not heard back for a week+. But then, on top of that... 2. I canceled before my billing date (a day or two before), and for some reason, it's locking me into this membership until THE END OF SEPTEMBER - TWO months from now. I will obviously be disputing this with my credit card company, but it's pretty sus to me that it takes a month to "process by cancellation request." I've checked my confirmation email and there is nothing about a membership cancellation notice. There is also a "processing fee" of $15 to get your membership set up, which I accepted when I bought the membership. Anyways, my advice is to use the services at Uni Wax, but be very careful about what you're signing up for because they are employing some pretty sketchy practices.

She calls me a "baby" just because I always get scared before my wax and we laugh through the entire time. Lets be real- brazilian waxing is the scariest most terrifying thing a woman does (besides childbirth lmao) but if you have any reservations or are nervous, she will walk you through the process. Brazilians are done in less than 10 minutes, seriously. She plucks any other leftover hairs (never more than 1 or 2) and I also rarely get ingrowns. Never burns or rashes and I have very sensitive skin. It's always an immaculate job. I have lived all over NYC and Long Island and no matter where I am, I will always go back to Irina and Serenity. At this point, she is family. A million stars! I will recommend to ANYONE. Advice: Bring cash, and don't be late for your appointment. Use Tend Skin a day after wax and you can purchase it there. One tip: bring cash for gratuity -- otherwise it's Venmo only, but there's a bodega right across the street if you need it. I'd definitely come back -- just booking with Dolker next time.
