One of my favorite places to eat whenever in Barcelona. Can't wait to be back for my 40th in a little over a year. Will be eating here multiple times during my trip. The food at La Bella Napoli is surprisingly good; everything is fresh, and the service is very fast. The menu has a wide range of both pastas and pizzas, and they're all priced very reasonably. While there's no problem with the speed of their service, the quality leaves something to be desired. On both of the occasions we visited here, the servers were all watching TV while they worked, and not at all talkative; they were so preoccupied that they were borderline rude. Authentic Italian with friendly staff . We enjoyed our meal but would suggest you stick to the pizza which is definitely their specialty.

Amazing! Everything we ordered was amazing. The Burrata, the bruschetta, the pizza, the gnocchi and best of all was the Nutella tiramisu. You must try this specialty dessert as it will melt in your mouth. They also had great suggestions for wine. We loved it so much we went back twice in the same week. read more

Oh how I miss this place! Authentic Sicilian brick oven pizza in the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood in Barcelona. I have so many good memories from this place. I used to live close and ate here pretty often. The staff are always super friendly and funny. There's another place in Barcelona from the same owners but I prefer this one, it's a bit less fancy but more authentic. This place is usually packed and you might have to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated, but it's totally worth the wait. I recommend the parmiggiana pizza, but you can order whatever you want and you won't be disappointed, every single thing in their menu is delicious. The salads are pretty good too. Every time I eat a slice of NY pizza I cry a little inside and think of La Bella Napoli. read more

The best pizza and pasta I have ever had outside of Italy. Pizza's are cooked in a traditional wood-fried oven, pasta is fresh, desserts are divine. After walking about Barcelona for four days and seeing so many (so many!) pizza joints around, we took a break from the tapas to try some wood-fired pizza. Good service and open late (I think we sat at 930, left around 11), with reasonable prices and good service. Basic, Italian food. Pasta and pizza. Well prepared but not outstanding. It's a nice break from tapas. Service is ... informal. Friendly enough but little concern for bringing entrees out in the same time fame. Coffee came 15 minutes after dessert. My wife noted that it suffered from Italian male hospitality. (We are of Italian descent.) Boisterous but a bit unprofessional. I see too many four stars on Yelp. To me , three stars mean perfectly acceptable but with room for improvement. read more

Great solid Italian food with good sized portions. We split the Bruschetta Napoli which was packed with tomatoes on each slice of bread and had about 4 big pieces. We also split the Penne del chef which was a good portion of penne with a meat sauce, tomatoes, eggplant and mozzarella. Everything was really good Service is good and fast. The food comes quickly, so don't be expecting this to be an all night affair. The heart of the resturant is beyond the pizza area and wood fire oven, so walk in and head back. read more

The pizza is fantastic! It is made with quality ingredients. I did not ask but the texture and flavor of the crust tasted like caputo 00 flour. The Bufalina - with buffalo mozzarella and D.O.C. tomatoes was wonderful. True to Napoleotana tradition, just a couple of basil leaves in the center. I personally like a few more leaves spread out across the pie:). The oven is authentic to Napoli and the pizzaiolo knew how to use it. Perhaps one should just stick to pizza when I come to this place. I had ordered an arugula salad without Parmesan cheese. They just simply replace the Parmesan cheese the same at Sarella cheese that you would put on pizza. That choice. Then I had ordered an eggplant Parma by the presentation was quite nice you'll see a picture attached to this review it had absolutely no flavor. The egg plant was quite soggy and the cheese, like I said above, was exactly the same that they put on top of my arugula salad. Now about the service, the understaffed restaurant well, to them it seemed understaffed, by the way they were running around was so chaotic that it literally was giving me an upset stomach. The waiters banged into my tables my salad came before my drink, and right after the salad arrived the soggy eggplant Parm arrived. The only good part in my Pinyan about this restaurant was the espresso. The espresso was exceptional though I ordered an American coffee. read more

The food wasn't that good. The service wasn't good. And we saw a huge cockroach crawling up the wall.
