Love this place! Took a little under six hrs for small-medium knotless box braids. The two braiders were professional- provided friendly and quick service. Even was greeted by the owner who is very kind and accommodating; i sent her multiple pictures to confirm my style preference and for advice on which hair to buy. Note that she did have an option to provide the hair but i wanted to pick mu own. I made my appt 48hrs in advance which helped me prepare for a last minute trip. I wanted a style for my Vacation and I chose the right place, La Belle always do a Spectacular Job, everhome Loved my hair.

My daughter and I came in for box braids, the lady working on my hair was not understanding what I wanted at all. I showed her the booking and everything and she was clueless. They did not have human hair I was supposed to get even though it specifically said it in the booking. My braids started to tangle and unravel 24 hours after getting them done. My daughter's hair also. I reached out to someone (I'm assuming the owner) and was only refunded $70 of my money. I had to take my hair completely down 1 week after getting it done. Our hair was not worth the $470 I paid. HIGHLY disappointed! Will NOT BE GOING BACK. Ask question before going. Everyone in the shop was unprofessional as well. I feel as if I should have gotten a full refund. We drove from over a hour away and couldn't come back to the shop for a redo of our hair. THIS IS THE WORST $80 I'VE SPENT IN MY LIFE. Just look at these corn rows. The worker took a picture of my head in their shop as you can see. They are so big and not neat. You can't even see the parts. I specifically told the worker to make them small because I'm going to wear a wig over this and she still made it this way. I even showed her a picture for reference. The owner of the shop is very rude. The worker was blow drying my hair and I asked her if she can apply heat protectant to my hair. The owner said "We are a braiding shop, we don't have that here". That was the most stupidest response I've ever heard in my life. What does you being a Braiding shop give you a reason not to have heat protectant? You are applying heat to my hair. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL & waste of my time! Booked an appointment online. I didn't hear back from the salon so I called them the day before the appointment. Ida stated they've been having problems booking online. She schedule an appt for my daughter for Sunday at 12:30pm. We showed up extra early (and we live one hour away.) as I pulled into the parking lot I received a text msg, asking if we could come in at 2pm instead. Then she said come back in 1 HR. So we did. I told her the style we wanted and she suggested crochet hair braiding s d asked me to go to the store to buy the hair. Two salons I went to were closed, FINALLY we found one open. We went back to the salon and by this time it was 2pm. She had started braid someone else's hair!!!! She asked if we could wait?!!! I was so upset. I loved the atmosphere and the openness of the shop. It was not crowded and the braiders are very kind. I got box braids that turned out very nice and had 2 braiders. I was only there for 2 hours! Being military my box braids can't be too thick because of having to put it in a bun and they braided it to where I won't have to struggle making sure my bun is in regulation. read more

I have been searching for a place that can do cornrows. I have to say is she did an amazing job. When you walk in the salon is very open and modest. They are kinda hidden in the shopping center, but there is plenty of parking. I called and got say day service, which was nice. The price was exactly what she said. Koko and Sophie who sister and the owners of the salon and where super friendly and know how to do hair. From what I could tell there services are mainly braiding. Extremely expensive! A majority of my head is shaved so I only needed the top of my head braided. It cost $120! That's my only complaint. Moving on to the good stuff. They're very friendly and skilled in braiding. Gave me pretty much what I asked for (although I wish the braids were a little smaller). I felt very comfortable and safe in the shop, and Sofie was very respectful and fast! The owner has created a great working environment that makes you want to come back. The prices will probably prevent me from coming back regularly, but I'll save them just in case. But if price isn't a factor for you, I definitely recommend this shop! read more

I had an appointment at another African braid salon that wasn't even open at the time of my appointment so I was able to get seen at Labelle's and I was extremely happy with their professionalism and how well my micro braids turned out! The ladies are super nice and inviting! No lies when I say this is the best my hair has ever turned out! If you're looking for great service look no further! Below is the message I left for the owner or whomever handles service complaints from customers. I wanted to give the establishment a chance to respond to my comment. I received this service on Tuesday, July 21st. I have multiple text messages to the stylist the morning of. The beauty supply store she sent me to did not have the hair she recommended so I spent over an hour ripping and running to 3 stores to get the hair she needed for faux locks. I was very excited to get the look I wanted for a vaca with my husband. I did not receive anything close to what I asked for and some of the locs are very loose and the braided hair underneath is crazy exposed. It honestly looks very bad loose and would look decent in a bun from a mile away maybe but the individual pieces in the back of my hair are disheveled looking and you can see all the imperfections. This is the result from Day 1, within hours of getting it done. It's really unfortunate of the time it took and all the money spent, roughly $300!!! The ladies (it took two of them the 2nd time around). They were both nice to me but appeared frustrated with me that the first time didn't work out and even more so the second time didn't look great either. Yes she attempted this twice! I was there for over 6-7 hours. I'm very sorry it did not work out. I'm sorry I had a terrible experience but in the end it is what it is. I had no choice but to take it down the next day and go back to wearing my hair natural. That process was a bit of a nightmare too because the ends of my braided hair underneath were so knotted and damaged. I now have to get about 1-2 inches cut off from the damage. Lucky that I already have long hair. It's been 15 years since I've attempted any type of braid style and I probably will never try it again. It's truly disappointing. I'm sure the braids service is great but avoid getting faux locks here for sure! The stylist offered to do box braids on me next time but I can't return after all of this. Its just too awkward and no customer deserves to walk away with such a terrible outcome. Update: Today I received a response from whomever decided to respond to my review weeks later. Here is the message I received: "Sorry that he didn't work out we did eve we can to and make for you to have a good experience on braid but I think you are just or into braids . I am very sorry about you experience thanks for your business we appreciate you" So yeah, it's my fault because I guess "I'm just not that into braids...". If you are going there for Braids just as the name says, do just that Braids. Don't try to do anything else even if they tell u they k ow how to do anything other than braid. I did weave and it was the worse weave I've ever done in my life. I wish they had been honest and say we are not good at weave and I would have gone somewhere else. Am so nice that I said nothing and still gave $10 tip, don't waste your money if u plan on doing weave. They are good at only braids. I plan to take this nonsence off my head when I get home. I had a great experience visiting this salon. I called a few days to see if there was any availability for a Saturday appointment for kinky twists. The lady I spoke with told me to come in early Saturday morning. I showed up and two girls begin doing my kinky twists and they did such a great job! Recently moving to SA I was really nervous about going to a new braiding salon. I made an appointment for 9 am and Sophie and Florence began working on my hair a couple minutes after I arrived. Sophie in particular is amazing because she was so soft handed. My hair is pretty thick and I'm very tender headed. Nonetheless, Florence was amazing as well, she's heavy handed but my braids are beautiful! I showed the ladies what I wanted and they gave me exactly that. The only thing I didn't like it that they cut off your hair that's sticking out of the braids after they have finished. On my next visit I will inform them that I don't want that done. Seeing that this was my only concern I will most definitely be back in 2-3 months to get my hair braided again specifically requesting Sophie and Florence. read more

Found La belle through yelp. And it turned out great! Mind you I haven't had braids in over 10 years, and I was very much scared of "too tight braids", "too much hair" and all the worst case scenarios that could happen. While they were still braiding, I would let them know if it hurt or not and they would loosen it up a bit just enough for me to handle and tight enough for the braid to be secure. When I came home I was a little bit sore but the next day I was completely fine. Once my braids loosen up a little bit more, Ill post some pics. I would just like to say - I live on yelp. If there aren't enough reviews or enough stars I move on - however, there was something about their website that told me to go. I'm really happy that I did. They were really nice and accommodating. I showed them pictures of what I wanted and that exactly what I got. The best part was that she didn't do it too tight. I got my braids done here a couple days ago & the braid itself came out pretty nice the only thing I was very disappointed with was the fact that the actual "box" on the box braids were completely uneven & not spaced out they way they should look. I got micro braids over the weekend. Love them! The only thing I have a problem with is, I stopped by the day before to inquire about prices. I was told the size I want would cost $160, and they supply the hair. Once my hair was complete, I was told the total was $200. I was shocked! I think it's a little shady to give a price, but once your hair is done, you mention, by the way, you have to pay for the hair. read more
