The girl at the front desk was very sweet. But the woman who did my nails was annoyed that I wasn't happy with the square shape she did when I asked multiple times for round nails. A little boy named Jimmy did my moms nails and was incredibly pompous and was insulting the jewelry my mom was wearing. He also told us he doesn't care who you are unless you tip him well. WOW! I am so happy and pleased with this nail salon. I was so bummed because the salon I normally go to said they couldn't take me (at 9 am??) weird. BUT I called this salon and they took me with no problems! I really appreciated how Tammy (I think was her name, I forgot to clarify before I left.) was so careful with my nails.. they were pretty brittle. I've been coming here for over a year and I haven't had problem, but I've noticed many times the manager lacks integrity which I will mention below particularly today. Scheduled dip powder mani for two people. However, when I was there, I misunderstood the nail tech and misspoke. Ended up with a gel mani instead due to language barrier from the tech. I was ok with that since it wasn't really all her fault. Cindy, the manager came and inspected my nails after I was done, but made no comment. I was going to tell her that I didn't get dip powder (also she's a tech herself so she knows better), but I wanted to see whether she'd be honest and charge me for the proper service. Surprisingly, I got charged for $45 each for dip powder, which came out to $90 before tipping. I was appalled and didn't say anything bc again I wanted to give her the opportunity to do the right thing. Unfortunately, she didn't and I was disappointed knowing she ripped me off. Also, I was told if paying cash you'd get $2 off (otherwise, pay a credit card transaction fee) which I never got. It's more of a gimmick to say the least. She only use discretion whenever she feels like it. I'm not knit picking over $2 bucks and money is no object to me rather bad business practice left a bad taste in my experience. I hate business that doesn't honor discount or standard practice as stated and is dishonest particular to regular customers. I'm sure she thought I was fooled by her deception and dishonesty. I will no longer return since I've lost trust at this place and they've lost loyal customers. Shame on you! *Follow up: Hello! I never complain my daughter didn't received dip mani. It was me as stated previously. You commented that I did received dip powder except I can't tell if it was added adequately to my nails or if any to see a difference. from gel. Actually, it was Ashlee's tech who brought it to my attention that I got gel mani before she finished my daughter's nails and I realized it at the end of the process. I visited La Belle recently and was extremely disappointed. My nail tech did an awful job on my GelX set. You'd think because they're already shaped and practically press ons, this would be a no brainer, but I was very wrong. She left my hands soaking in the acetone for forever even though I expressed my discomfort as my hands were getting dried out. She had the nerve to stop helping me mid way through my set to see to another client. In total I was there 2.5 hours because she took so long. She made the nails very thick - which I hate - and even applied an unnecessary layer of glue which would make my hair get stuck under my nails if I'd run my hands through my hair. Awful experience. The nail tech and Cindy (front desk lady) did not believe me when I told them that my nails were real and kept arguing with me that I had acrylics on. First of all, who would lie about having real nails... Absolutely childish. Secondly, I was charged for an acrylic set for 1 HAND, not 2, but 1 and was expected to pay $60. No other place would have charged me full price for doing 1 hand. I am not paying the technician's hourly wage. When I called to request a refund, I kept getting disrespected and was only offered $5 off. How about treating a loyal customer with respect? When did that go out of the door? It's been awhile since I wrote a review on Yelp and I thought I'd take the time to write one even though it'll be a negative one because I'm pretty irritated. I've been wanting to try La Belle Nail salon out since this plaza is a one stop shop. I was in a rush today and thought why not get a mani/pedi before running my afternoon errands. A nail technician was available to service me right away with no appointments needed (Tuesday morning) which was great cus my go to nail salon is always booked and need to make an appt a week an advance and that gets pretty annoying. My pedi turns out fine and I'm actually taking a break from doing gel nails so I told her to cut it short/clean up the cuticles and put a nail strengthener on. Probably the easiest and most basic task to do as a nail technician. As she was cutting my nails she cut one of my nails too short and that's happened quite a few times before because the skin under my nails are pretty close to the edge so I've bled in the past. I told her after politely if she can watch our for my skin under and that my skin is very close to the edge. She gave me the biggest attitude and said "you're fine! you're fine!" and totally brushed it off. Clearly she cut my skin off cus when she realized it was red and was on the verge of bleeding she quickly put on an ointment to stop the bleeding. At that point I was so turned off and couldn't relax while getting my nails done. After she got done, a staff member asked how everything was and I told her everything was ok. She told me to stay for few more minutes so my nails/toes can dry a bit. I got up to leave and the lady that did my nails saw me get ready to leave and she did not even help put my shoes on (while other salons always helps me put my shoes on after a pedicure) I would have expected her to help especially when she's standing 3ft away from me acting like she was doing something probably waiting for me to tip he. I really wanted to let this slide as I don't like to bash on older ladies (she was one of the older ones) especially a new business but she did not even apologize or ask how everything was. I paid in the front and gave my complaints to the owner. She was very apologetic and nice about everything which I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 1. She did give me 5 dollars off however, I did still give my nail technician more than enough tip. I get it, it's a new business and everyone makes mistakes but when a customer asks politely about something please don't brush them off or give them attitude. It will really hurt your reputation on the long run. It doesn't matter if there is a "language barrier" or "they're an elder". There is just no excuse for ugly character to come out no matter who you are. read more

Tammy serviced me with a new set of Gel X nails and Kim did my Gel pedicure. I was in and out within an hour and both my pedicure and nails came out perfect! I also felt like they were reasonably priced especially for all that I got done. Kim gave the best pedicure massage and Tammy was so detailed with her design. The second time I came in the nail tech didn't clean off her station from the person before me. This time same thing. After putting the nails on she started to use a metal drill around my cuticles. My thumb she burned the side and when I said ow she laughed as she said sorry, when I left I noticed my middle finger started bleeding. Don't bother with this place. They run like a factory. I called 3 days after a mani-pedi. I asked for nail change because my natural nail polish had chipped. They offered to do without out charge. I know it was cheap polish from their shop. After I arrived diamond wants to lecture me that regular polish will chip right away! I know my nails. My mani's last for a few weeks. My pedicure did not chip because they used my own nail polish but tech thought my polish was old. So she used the shops cheap crap. They do the nail polish change, I tip the lady. Then Diamond comes up to lecture me trying to tell me she won't do a change of polish next time! Could I tip the nail tech! They should listen to customer. My original visit was with a Karen - rude, arrogant. My foot was in the tub, she swats! My leg to move it! I don't care about chit chat! But don't work in a customer oriented business if you don't want to work with customers. By the way my old nail place I knew them for 13 years!
