During a business trip back in October to Atlanta, I paid for a car service to pick me up and drop me off at the airport, because its such a nightmare getting in and out of our airport without losing your sanity. But for a more recent trip to the west coast, I tried using one of the parking lot/shuttle services for the first time. The one I chose was Avistar, and its amazing! I hate to overly praise a company for just doing what we pay them to do, but I didn't believe this could be as convenient as it was! Its located just one exit from the exit to the airport (near where kids street race on weekends - don't ask me how I know!) and they shuttled me over quickly, efficiently (I was late) with no problems. They took great care of my car, I paid just $30 bucks for three days and I didn't have to wait long for the shuttle on my way off the red eye!

I was surprised how cold the water was. The temples and hieroglyphs were astounding, knowing they had been created, some up to 6,000 years ago, and then finding some paint still on them! We also learned so much of the country's past with an Egyptologist as our guide. I had such a great time that I'm trying to organize another trip with my students now. Jesse was always available to answer any questions we had at just about anytime of day. The trips are very low priced and even with only the activities already planned it would be a very full trip.
