Great service and selection and it's a small, local business staying afloat in these tough times. I went in there Saturday night to buy some bourbon and a cigar that would pair well with Dalmore Cigar Malt Scotch. Not being a cigar guy, I asked the gentleman with the dark hair and beard behind the counter. He suggested a cigar and he was on the mark. This is far and away the best place to buy booze within the Inland Empire. I live 40 miles away and still make the trip to buy my booze here based on service and selection alone. If for some reason they don't have it, they'll order it no problem. The store is always clean, and well stocked! The employees are all product knowledgeable / incredibly helpful and nice. They even have events sponsored by various beer vendors / companies from time to time, I myself have been to a couple. Today, I put in a $1500 order for my wedding... Mike (who I pegged as one of the owners) helped me. He walked me around, made some recommendations for best bang for my buck and on sale items and was very patient and helpful in making it all easy for me. They even offer delivery on large orders! The offer anything from champagne n wine to hard booze and beer. Various price ranges so whether you're a beer snip and prefer the $20 bottle of beer or the penny pincher who appreciates quantity over quality they have what you want. They offer a wide variety of glassware as well, so if you own a home bar (like I do) you can definitely get your variety of glass wear here to keep the bar looking sharp. Best Liquor store, hands down. Just tell them what you're in a mood to drink and they will help you. My wife was making a buffalo chicken salad, I told the clerk and he recommend a Pinot, and my wife was very impressed of how well it paired. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would! I came to this spot for the second time with the intentions to shop in my local community and not travel over to Total Wine in Rancho Cucamonga but this place for sure lost my business and my families business for good. I went to buy a variety of liquor on Sat July 3rd and as I was browsing the sales floor I picked up a bottle to look at it and I was RUDELY yelled at from the cash registrar by an older lady " Put that bottle down you cannot be touching that" I immediately looked around and saw NO SIGNS that say you cannot touch any bottles. When I was checking out I confronted the lady about her poor service and how rude she was. Instead of apologizing right away she gave me an excuse that I was touching a "back stock" bottle which makes absolutely no sense when I was in a sales floor area. I let the rude old lady know that having "back stock" on the floor is not professional and being a CUSTOMER and not an EMPLOYEE how was I supposed to know that it was back stock?? After realizing that I wasn't feeding into her excuses and lies she then tried to apologize. I also did read that this is a family tan and owned business. I will never spend a dime on this place again and I hope whoever reads this strongly reconsiders visiting this poor customer service dump. If you want better prices and professional customer service shop at Total Wine. These people and their business are the prime example of why sometimes you cannot always support local as they don't know how to treat their own community. read more

This liquor store is the spot!! I always find beverages not sold in regular grocery stores. My friend and I came upon a blueberry lemonade smirnoff, we were hooked but it was nowhere to be found. One night I came to La Bodega and bam! I found it! It was an amazing feeling! So you can come here and find pretty much anything and everything. They have fun liquor bottles and unique mixtures of alcohol. It is pretty pricey, but a liquor store is really that cheap anyways. I suggest you come here if you want to try new drinks. read more

Never went to La Bodega before until I met Mr.GC. Although I remember seeing them throughout the years growing up in the Inland Empire. I know not all of them are the same,but I like the service at this one. The staff is always willing to help and give off knowledge that they may know of products. Mr.GC has a habit of asking most staff no matter where we are at "what do you recommend?". I think it startles some folks to be asked on their opinion. Some will be like "IDK" while other like to share their expertise. I like that he does it, and now I too do it. Plus who is better knowing than the ppl who work there. It really goes to show ppl work ethics. You either put in the effort to be the best at whatever you do and learn or you don't. That's my philosophy... so because Mr.GC asked a staff on a product he came to like this beer he was referred to try. Which happened to be the Belching Beaver Peanut Butter & Jelly. Only because they didn't have his original choice at the time. Now that is a good employee. So tonight I went in just to get Mr. PBJ and starting talking to the cashier about a product that they didn't have but he explained why and also said it is possible to get by request, I thought cool. I told the gentleman of Mr.GC and I story and before you know it he referred me to try this other beer. I told the guys Dez and Will thanks and said I would let them know how the Brew Rebellion choice turned out. Everyone keeps raging about beer, but the bourbon is amazing. Best selection in riverside for bourbon, rye, wheat, and scotch. This is the reason Riverside doesn't have a BevMo or Total Wine. We have absolutely no need for an impersonal chain superstore with the exceptional service and selection of La Bodega. La Bodega has everything. Craft Beer fans will be delighted with the enormous selection of hard to find and interesting bottles. Wine fans will want to walk out with everything they can carry. Small batch, rare, unique, special ordered, whatever you want (and even things you didn't know you wanted), you got it. As a bonus, the staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. This is easily one of the best businesses in Riverside and probably my personal favorite. I come in a couple times a month like a kid in a candy store. One of my favorite liquor stores there are few places that carry the selection of harder to find items than La Bodega, there have been few occasions where I could not find a seasonal beer or a specialty small batch whiskey that I was looking for. Only down fall is a fault of my own it is far too far to be useful on a regular basis to me. The staff is usually knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to finding and selecting something new.
