I dont even know where to start. I took my dog this morning at 10:18 AM. The lady at the front desk was training a new employee and was giving instructions on what to do/say. After I handed my dog to them, I asked at what time should I be passing by to pick her up, the lady start showing the board to the new girl where the times are at...and she tells the girl to tell me to pass by 2:30PM. Around 1:30 PM I called the place just to ask for an update and a rude as lady which it seems to be the owner answers the phone. I asked for an update, and she answers saying that My dog will be ready by 4:30-5:00 PM. So I start explaining to her that they told me to pass at 2:30 and she cuts me off and starts fighting to her employees in a really rude way. She doesnt even lets me talk and hangs up the phone on me. 10 minutes later, another employee calls me saying sorry saying that it was the new girls fault and that she made a mistake. I made sure to let her know that it wasnt the new girls fault and that it was the other employee who gave me the time. She got upset and tells me that shes the girl training the new girl. She starts talking to me in a rude way and i told her i was going to write a review and she answered saying "go ahead and write whatever you want, i will make sure to have it removed" . I was there at 230 and they did a horrible job. They cut all my dogs hair off when i even showed them the picture of what I wanted. We got home and my dog has been hiding under the pillows when shes usually a VERY active one. Im just really dissapointed on their customer service or services in general. Please read reviews before taking your dog somewhere. I started reading some reviews here after and theres not too many good ones. And lets not forget about the pricing, I paid $50.00 !!! read more

I have a 15 year old toy Maltese named Rosey. It's always nerve wracking to leave her at the groomers considering her age and the stress of strangers and groomers. I've been taking her to La Bone for the past year now. The first time I came to pick her up she turned around to go right back to where the grooming happens! That definitely put me at ease for any future visits. She has never had any injury, scratch, clip or anything and trust me I look since that's my baby lol. She always looks so great and clean and comes home so happy. She's never shaking when I pick her up which she always has at every other groomer. I've only been here about 6 times but the groomers remember her by name which is always sweet. read more

First time at La Bone and I am very satisfied. The answered all my questions and had a photo book of different cuts that I was able to choose from because I was a newbie. The place is very clean and the prices are reasonable. They also offer very cute clothes as well and the prices aren't expensive. I purchased a cute tutu tutu for my furbaby. I have been a client since 2008 and have had 4 different dogs groomed over these years & purchased 2 of my dogs from LaBone & never had an issue. On Thursday July 8, 2021, my Morkie who weighs about 4.5 lbs was groomed and her leg was injured & needed to be taken to the vet. The sad thing is after being a loyal customer for all these years I was NOT informed by Jennifer the owner, the groomer, or the front desk that Bailey had been injured.! I had to discover the injury after taking her home. I called an spoke with Jenny on Friday after the shop opened she apologized & said I should take her to my vet! DUH!!! I incurred a vet bill of $251.00 which I had to pay for someones NEGLIGENCE. I will no longer be taking my dogs to La Bone!!!! read more

Wow I was blown away by these awesome people. They were in and out very professional and my pups were happy. I went in to have their nails filed down and it was swift and beautiful. My pups are usually drama queens and pretend they have some kind of PTSD when they get their nails done but here they ran out happy as can be. The young lady at the front desk was also very kind even when she handled difficult customers ahead of me. She must have the patience of a saint. read more

This review is hard to write because on all appearances this is a fine establishment. The owner and front desk was very friendly, the retail shop is nice and inviting, but unfortunately where it matters with their quality of pet care and service they have problems. When I received my dog after a full groom, trim and teeth cleaning she couldn't walk and had an eye sore. Most notably was my dogs rear legged limp, she's still hopping around 4 days later. The owner said it must have been her nails, since most were bleeding from not having been trimmed in a while. Aside from nail bleeding being typical for them, the limp was specific to one leg while all nails had blood on them. Also the groomer mentioned she may have slipped on the table while grooming. I truly do believe they were just doing their job with a very nervous a dog, but unfortunately their force or carelessness resulted in our dogs injury. She also had an inflamed tear gland, looks like a cherry in her eye. I believe this is mostly stress related or from being restrained that it caused a strain in her eye. All that considering I do believe this place needs to practice more sensitivity with their pets, especially small 9 pound dogs! They should have either a second hand to help relax the dog while performing services or perhaps suggest sedatives to clients with dogs that appear overly apprehensive or nervous. This may alleviate unnecessary injuries... Ultimately I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of care our pet received from this establishment. No matter what the reason is, our dog shouldn't come home with sores or be limping for days after a groom... read more

I have been bringing my dogs to LaBone since 2005 to get haircuts and blueberry facials and baths. My dogs are not treated like some do as children... they are dogs who run and play and get dirty. I love them so much like all us pet owners do. I believe they know when they are get pampered on a "Spa Day" at LaBone. They deserve it! Highly recommend to any dog lover out there to make an appointment. It is very reasonably priced and they come home smelling so clean and fresh! I had a nice experience at the store they had a very nice selection of collars and dog accessories. They were all very reasonably priced and tended to be more on the boutique side. I have a large pitbull mix dog and it's sometimes difficult to find a pretty color for her size neck. I found a very cute one with different color pastel stripes on it and is very feminine-looking. read more

For the most part a good place, they lack customer service skills to newbies like myself. The young man that has helped me the last 2 times is very nice & helpful. Great place.. owners are the ones who run the business.. it is very nice.. they carry hollistic foodb for their dogs and puppies... the groomer does an amazing job... they treat you just like family... their prices are not bad at all and their puppies are most definately in good shape.. is nice to see a petstore finally care for their animaks instead of money.. also something that I love is that they breed their own dogs so they only carry certain breeds.. its a wonderful place to shop for everything.. though I prefer adoption this would probably be one of the only places I would get a dog... my yorkie (adopted) goes there for groomin and it is really wonderful.. can't say enough wonderful things about the people at la bone. read more

First time with my two American Eskimos, they were very welcoming and my puppies looked great!

I began taking my dog to La Bone over 2 1/2 years ago and was so happy with the results that I drove 1/2 hour to go and paid on average 15% more for services because they did such a wonderful job. Since then, I've adopted 2 more dogs and have done the same. About 6 months ago though, I noticed a tremendous change in the service but attributed it to staff changes and figured that things would get back to normal quickly because the owner, Jennifer, up until that point had been wonderful. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. The service has continued to go down hill. There are services that are ordinarily included in a full grooming (like ear cleaning, nail clipping, anal gland expressions) that are not done and even when I specifically ask for it they still forget to do them. The last time I was there though, I drew the line. The girl at the counter brought out 2 of 3 of my dogs I paid and waited while she had a full conversation with a customer on the phone while my youngest dog (still a puppy) was left waiting in the back room. She was yelping and howling and still she continued on the phone with a customer trying to sell a puppy she had in the store even though she wasn't done with me yet. Very unprofessional. When my dog was finally returned to me I saw that her right eye was was red and irritated and when I asked what happened she proceeded to tell me that my dog is very difficult to groom and when she's washing her she had to restrain her in the sink. She kept pulling at the leash causing a burst in the vein by her cornea (it looks like there is blood in the eye). Now I can understand that it's a possibility that she's a bit difficult because she's still a puppy (only 8 months) but she's also only a 10 lb dog so an experienced groomer should be able to restrain her without causing harm to her and if she was being that difficult, then why not just call me and avoid causing harm to my dog or putting her in a situation that she would cause harm to herself? I took her to the vet directly after that and was told blood bursts around the dog's cornea usually happen (to dogs without high blood pressure) when they are pulling very hard on their collars and putting too much pressure on their necks. And that it would go away in a week or two. Which it did. However, when I got home, I saw that my oldest dog kept rubbing her butt on the floor (which indicated to me that her glands had not been expressed) and all their butts had not been shaved (even though I had specifically gone for a "face, feet and fanny" package). My other dog ears were cut unevenly (and it has not been the first time that's happened either). I spent $200 and one of my dogs were hurt and the services that I paid for had not been done. Needless to say, I will not be going back again. It's such a shame this used to be such a wonderful place but now it's just a nightmare. read more

Please don't allow your dog to suffer at this over-priced torture chamber with nasty lying people! I just picked up my iggy puppy and found nasty burns across his belly which were painful and bleeding. When I asked what happened? The owners blamed me! They are were so nasty about it. If they could say "we are sorry we had an accident" I would feel better, but they went too far by injuring my dog and blaming me. All I wanted was his nails cut. If I could give a 0 star I will this place its a total mess I took my dog because it was recommended from a great friend of mine she takes her 2 boys in there, I have a male shitzu name Oliver creamy color the very first time it was a big mistake first of all bit pricey but ok they told me my dog needed a shave because he was "matted" especially under his armpits I was not understanding the short hair lady in the front and then she said I'm going to call the owner so she can explain you, the lady owner came touch my dog and makes a horrifying face and said oh no forget it this needs to be shave and charge her for de-matt the dog and left very rude of her not even say hello, so they took Oli inside and I was looking around in the store when all the sudden the rude owner came out again with my dog saying he needed a cleaning on his teeth she hold him and show me and said this will come out easy it's not that bad, it was only $25 dollars so I agreed at the moment, almost 5 hours after they call me to let me know my dog was ready and to hurry up they were going to close very soon, I said ok you have to give me like 30 minutes because I'm not so close by. Like 20 minutes after they call me again telling me to hurry after 5 hours with my dog. When I got there and $90 dollars after because they charge me the matts after they shave my dog so much I could see his skin all pink but ok I ask for my receipt and the lady told me she couldn't give a receipt because for cash they don't give receipt that she could write down in a paper... wow what a service. I was not happy at all but wasn't happier after I took Oli to the vet he was shave so close he stared to scratch so bad that he was bleeding, also noticed a lump under his armpit and he refused to eat... well after $337.68 dollars after the vet told me he got burn with the razor, the lump under his armpit was a cut they did on my dog and glue it out without telling me anything and what got me more upset of all was the owner lady remove 1 teeth in the bottom jaw and 1 mollar and no one said a word to me and it was half of the mollar inside and infected so the vet had to remove it and put the poor dog under antibiotics, the vet ask me what kind of cleaning they did in my dog and I told him they call it a placklin or something like that and he told me first of all that treatment does not remove the build up unless they put pressure on the dog teeth and facilities that do this treatment are not allowed to remove any teeth!!!! I was in shock... that's how bad they are. So I decide to call the store the day after and whoever answer the phone said that I had to speak with the owner about the situation because she didn't know, ask for my phone number and told me she will have the owner call me back and it never happened. Please people be aware of this things because sometimes you don't even know what they do to our dogs, this happened 4 or 5 month ago and I was not going to review this place but there is spots on my dog the hair it's not growing anymore because of the sooo close shave they did to my Oli. And the owner is a pathetic person and very rude. read more

I got my princess as a gift about 5 years ago from this shop. I used to groom her there but is very far for me so I no longer take her here but when I did it was really good. I think prices are very reasonable compared to other stores and groomers, they have a good selection of supplies and cute clothes. I still feed her the food they recommended to me and they sell it at the store, she's never had stomach or allergies issues.....I never write reviews but I have to say that I'm very happy that my princess is healthy and beautiful, she is as tiny as they promised me she would be. When I got her she was 4 months and 2 1/2 lbs, the lady said she will grow to about 3 lbs by 1 yr. She is now 6 yrs old and weights 3 lbs and 4 oz. I was also told she was hypoallergenic as I have bad allergies... never had allergy issues with her and she sleeps in my bed. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because she had a hernia surgery which I wasn't told about and the vet said she had to be neutered because she couldn't have babies with that previous surgery. I didn't want her to have babies anyway because she is very small but I would've been nice if they told me about the hernia.... I was already in love with her when I found out about it 3 months later so........ and that hasn't been a problem for us. read more
